The location is just spectacular and the shady balcony.

Right in the centre of Komiza with a terrace overlooking the sea. Comfortable bed, decent shower. Kitchen is pretty basic , but serviceable.
Neighbour in below apartment with quite loud radio/TV late at night and very early in the morning.

I was blown away by just how stunning the position of the apartment is. The balcony is amazing and there are steps directly on the beach. The view from the bedrooms is perfect. The apartment is great and was spotlessly clean. We were very comfy. The owner was responsive and accommodated late checkout. The only reason that I marked a star down for comfort is that some of the pillows could do with replacing.

We didn’t want to leave. It was quiet, beautiful, comfortable for sleeping, and dog friendly so during the hottest part of the day we left him inside where he was safe.
Our host was truly accommodating and friendly. We felt very welcome.

The apartment is literally 5 meters from the sea. You can hear the waves from your bedroom. The unit looks much better than on the pictures; we were pleasently surprised. Owner is very friendly. We can't recomend this place enough :D

We absolutely loved the apartment - it's a beautiful place to stay. Miroslav was a great host. He was very responsive and informative. It was easy to find the apartment with his directions. The apartment was beautifully clean. It's simple but roomy. The terrace is large and such a delight for looking out over the harbour and watching the sunset. The bedrooms are spacious with wardrobes. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen is a good size. It has basic equipment - plenty of pans, a good cooking knife, a few implements and a cheese grater, decent crockery, cutlery and glasses. We self-catered a lot, so got used to the little electric hob. We also picked up a couple of disposable barbecues in Split and grilled fish on the balcony. There's a drying rack for your washing. Laundry is expensive but hand-washing was easy at the flat.
Food:
The vegetables from the market were excellent, and we bought lovely local honey, cheese and olive oil there too. If you get to the fishmonger's early you can get good fish, though the selection varies and is quite limited each day - we enjoyed bream, swordfish and even barracuda! The supermarkets stock all the basics you'd need, plus fresh meat and veg. The bakery is fab, especially the chocolate rolls and Komiza pie!
Komiza:
Komiza is such a pretty little town. There are lots of cute cats hoping for treats - we loved them. The beaches are pebbly, so are great for snorkelling - we swam either at the flat's beach, the big beach nearby or the beaches south of the town centre, where if you're lucky you might have one to yourself all day. The beach bars at either end of Komiza are very reasonable and good places to watch the sunset. The sea is so clear and warm. It's worth spending a few euros on some beach shoes and a beach mattress - you'll be much more comfortable.
The restaurants in Komiza are either really quite expensive (even by London standards!) or serve fast food (pizza, kebabs), so we cooked at the flat a lot. They seem to be geared to the yachting set, which is a shame, as there were a lot of empty tables most nights and we would have liked to eat out more. We did enjoy a fun meal at Robinson restaurant nearby and the pizzas at the beach are good, while the town square is a great place for pre- or after-dinner drinks.
