About this house rental

The recent recipient of a stupendous renovation, this three bedroom home just one mile from the center of downtown Fredericksburg is ideal for family and friends alike. From the moment one opens the front door, it would be hard to not be impressed by the grand, open spaces that greet you and your guests. A fully-equipped kitchen makes even the most extravagant of meals a snap while three lovely bedrooms, each offering a splendid queen bed, serve as the perfect retreat after a fun-filled day. Outside, an expansive, lush backyard and charming covered patio makes a day just spent at the house a tantalizing prospect.

*Please be aware that firewood for the fireplace and fire pit is not provided. If you will be using the fireplace, please be sure to only use a Duraflame log (or a similar product). Do not use natural wood.*

LOCATION - 2 blocks north of Main Street
HOSTS - Newly renovated home to yourselves
SLEEPS - Up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms; Master bedroom has a Queen size bed and a trundle bed in a separate area, and the other two bedrooms have Queen beds
BATH - 2 baths; The Master bath has a large soaking tub, separate walk-in shower and double vanity, the other bath has a walk-in shower
KITCHEN - Fully-equipped kitchen
BREAKFAST - None; coffee and teas provided
AMENITIES - 65” Smart Cable TV, wood burning fireplace (wood not provided), WiFi, front porch, private back yard, fire pit (wood not provided) with seating, gas grill, large back yard with wooden swing and outdoor seating

- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am in residential zones). No music of any kind after 10 pm.
- The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.
- Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces.

This has to be one of the best locations we have ever experienced. The house is well equipped, comfortably decorated with high quality linens, furniture, beds! We only booked 2 nights and could have stayed a lot longer. Great place!

Immaculate property , very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had the privacy and also were very close to the Main Street . The place had everything we needed to have a relaxing fun filled weekend with friends . Highly recommend the place and can’t wait to be back !

I've stayed a Bevins Haus several times over the years. The first time it was newly remodeled and spotless. It is starting to show a little wear. Here is the good and the not so good: There are no instructions for locking the new digital keypad when one wants to go out for the day. The refrigerator needs a good cleaning on the inside. The bed in the Master Suite is very comfortable. I could not get the thermostat to increase the temp above 66' in Heat Mode.

The house was very pretty, updated and clean. The pictures are accurate of the decor and very spacious for a family of 6. We were disappointed the outside furniture and picnic area was rusted and warped. So much potential for the beautiful, shady yard space.

Bevins House was absolutely perfect! We are a family of eight adults and we were all so comfortable. The house was very clean and was a nice surprise at how well stocked the kitchen was. We didn't want for anything. We will definitely come back again. We felt right at home!

Left a note in visitors book however very nice house, looks close to newly remodeled. Quiet neighborhood, great gathering den and kitchen area that makes visiting with everyone in your group easy to do. The only negative was that the floors seemed dirty. You could not see if from the eye but when you walked in socks or without shoes, it was a neglected area in the house.

My friends and I rented this house to bring in the 2019 New Year. We had planned on going out to breakfast several times, but the house was so beautiful and well stocked that we preferred to stay in and cook in that beautiful kitchen. This is the best stocked house we have we have ever rented. The upgrades and the decor make this house feel like an upscale hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were luxurious. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We look forward to renting the Bevin's Haus again.

This home was even better in person than the pictures. It was perfect for my husband and I, and our daughter, son in law and their 4 month old baby. The kitchen was fully supplied with top of the line appliances, cooking utensils and dishes. The bathrooms were modern and beautifully done. We will definitely be back!

This property was perfect for our party. The home was clean and all of the things we may need for our stay were already in the home (coffee, creamer, bath). The home is beautifully decorated. We just really enjoyed the home. We would love to visit and stay here again.

Very nicely decorated and great location. I stayed there about 18 months ago. It is showing a little wear and tear since then that could be remedied with a deep cleaning. Love the covered parking. Beds are very comfy.

We enjoyed the house. The layout was perfect and very clean. It would have been nice if there was some outside furniture rather than the metal chairs. Also, the hot water in the master bath was kind of an issue. It was hard to get just right. We called Saturday afternoon because we were having trouble getting the local TV stations and the lady on the phone (I think maybe Peggy was her name - not sure) was very helpful. She sent Travis out and he got it set up for us. They were very nice. We wanted to watch the Kentucky Derby. We will rent the house again. Thanks for everything.
