This house was perfect for our group - plenty of space on a nice quiet cul-de-sac, a short walk to Old Silver Beach and a quick drive to town. The description about this property was accurate and Kevin was very responsive!

Loved the quick walk (less than ten min) to beautiful Old Silver Beach, which has a great burger shack (that also has chicken fingers, hot dogs, veggie burgers etc.), soft white sand, and perfect swimming temperature & waves in August.
The house is clean and spacious with lovely bedrooms upstairs and plenty of overflow sleeping space in the finished basement. Note that the outdoor shower here is not the typical one you find at the Cape, as it's mostly covered and dark under a deck, so it's not really open air with the sun shining down on you!
You have to drive to pretty much everything else in the area, including the bike path (kind of tough area to bike on the streets). There are pickleball and basketball courts a couple miles away. We only went to family restaurants and our favorite was the Quarterdeck downtown, followed by treats at Ben & Bill's Chocolate Emporium.
Would stay again!

Older, clean comfortable home in a quiet lovely residential area. The location could not be better for an easy walk to Old Silver Beach or to a wooded trail that connects to a walking/ biking path.

The house had great space for the adults and the young ones after a great day at the beach. The weather was beautiful but there was always space at the residents beach which was great, and the walk was very easy even on some of the hot days. We had a great two weeks and would certainly recommend it for a family vacation spot.

It was a fantastic get away and my family really enjoyed it. There was a slight issue with the AC units, the property manager was very responsive and helpful. Hoping to book again in the future.

Great quiet setting for family gathering, walking distance to OSB. Rooms and spaces very family friendly and we loved trying some of the games in the lower level especially, use of the wagon to carry things to the beach. Different levels worked great for different sleep schedules and met or exceeded expectations in many ways.

The hidden gem of the Cape is the North Falmouth area. Just over the bridge and you are there. Plenty to do and great shopping in Falmouth and Mashpee.

We enjoyed Labor Day weekend at this property. The management was seamless and helpful. The house was great for our big group. It had good flow and We had enough space and bathrooms to be comfortable. The neighborhood was very beautiful! Great private wooded setting and cul-de-sac. The house was well stocked (some pantry items/spices, some helpful stuff for the beach). Comfy beds. The grill worked great. Even extra propane supplied! Starter amounts of household supplies.
Easy 8 minute walk to the beach. We shuttled the kids and stuff and kept it simple.
Overall, the house was perfect for our needs and we’d stay there again! Every Cape rental has a few quirks and this one needs some new carpet.
Thanks for a fabulous weekend!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Getting all of us under one roof is not always easy, but this house and location was perfect. Short walk to the beach, short drive to some great restaurants. The host was very accommodating and easy to reach as well! Highly recommend.

We have stayed at this property for the last couple of summers and have enjoyed everyone one of our stays. The house is superbly located very close to the beach (less than half a mile walk), in a quiet neighborhood. The house has most of the amenities any family would need for both outdoors and indoors, including cooking equipment and beach gear. The owner is also very responsive, in case anything arises during the visit. We are looking forward to coming back in future years.

We had a great family vacation! The house was large enough for our group to hang out and eat together, but also spread out if someone wanted alone time. The walk to the beach was even shorter than we expected and the house had chairs, beach toys, etc., which we will keep in mind for next time!

The cottage was lovely in most ways, accommodating the needs of our family.
We gathered as a family to mourn the loss of a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. It was great to be able to gather around the table and share pictures and the great artwork she produced. We laughed a lot and cried some. Being close to the beach was a boon for our younger children. There was plenty of room to spread out for private talks, too.
We were concerned about the strong smell of septic in the evenings, but decided that requesting the septic system to be pumped would be a worse situation. The carpet is in need of a deep clean. I expect that was because it was the end of the season. The oven did not work until the rep came and threw the breaker switch. We were thankful for her. A very nice and concerned employee. Three of our family members developed a rash after showering. Our thinking now is that the chlorine used to clean towels may have been too strong. Might be something to consider in the future. By the way, the downstairs shower could not be used as the shower curtain was installed too high.
Overall, the cottage met our basic needs, and we had a meaningful five days together. We would consider renting it again. I look forward to the return of the $500 damage deposit. I think we left it in pretty good shape. Thanks for your patience in the rental process.

Fantastic first trip to the Cape!
This was our first trip to Cape Cod. It was an awesome experience. This house was plenty big enough for our 11 person group. The beach is an easy walk even with 2 children under 3 years old. The one main issue was the lack of air conditioning. It was oppressive in the house even with the fans supplied by the owner. We couldn't get the oven to work, but it was ok as we had other options. We liked the convenience of the ferry, however we missed the memo that we had to catch the shuttle. (Which was only a few miles away!!) We drove all the way to Woods Hole, only to drive back to the shuttle parking right by Silver Beach.
I recommend Home Away to vacationers!!

Great location, nice family house, easy walk to Old Silver
Great location in a nice neighborhood. The house is large enough to hold a family with large size bedrooms and a sizable finished basement. We really appreciated the room to spread out and the 3 full baths plus outdoor shower. We also appreciated extra fridge space and beach chairs/carts in the garage. Entrance and exit made easy. House was well equipped overall, could use a larger kitchen table or perhaps outdoor table for dining purposes. Our biggest complaint was the heat. On a particularly warm August week - the temps were soaring and the air quality tough. No AC meant tough sleeping and cooking conditions. Will probably not rent again because of lack of AC. Other than that, a very solid rental property. Thanks for helping us make Cape memories.

wonderful home/wonderful location
Our entire family loved the beautiful home with all of the amenities, especially the beach buggies and beach toys! The start of the Shining Sea bike trail is not far away and 2 bike rentals are about 1 block from the start which makes it very convenient. Martha's Vineyard is a short ferry ride away from Woods Hole and Nantucket is a day trip out of Hyannis Port. We had a blast !!

We loved this place!
The house was beautiful and location perfect - less than 10 minute walk to Old Silver Beach (which is great as parking is limited!), 10 minute drive into the town of Falmouth with lots of cute shops, restaurants and ferry to Martha's Vineyard (worth the trip!). The house was also well-stocked - linens, towels, beach stuff (towels, umbrellas, chairs, sand toys, wagons), kitchen (pots, pans, lobster pot/utensils, BBQ, slow cooker, coffee maker, etc). The set-up worked perfectly for our group - 3 bedrooms upstairs, and the basement had lots of sleeping space and room to hang out. Loved our stay!
