Good location. It was pretty clean
I was given 2 bunches of keys about 10 in total and only required 3 to access the property and garage.
No keys were marked so made it very difficult
Given no instructions by real estate as to how to gain access to the property.
Building is quite old and there were many stairs

Location magnificent.
Found the address no worries, but finding the address room from the car park could have been made easy.
Some direction from the underneath car park up onto the street and then in through another gate should be explained.

Fantastic location and facilities. All the kitchen things / bedding / blankets / chairs you could possibly need. Absolutely spot on. Will definitely return! The balcony is amazing and we loved dolphin watching every day.
The apartment didn’t seem to be cleaned/maintained well. It was a bit dirty in the bathroom (hair in corners and the drains). The drains definitely need to be unclogged. Water does not drain away quickly at all so ends up everywhere / very wet slippery floors in the bathroom after a shower. Bathroom sink the worst. Takes ages for the water to drain anywhere.
No lamp bulbs in two lamps. Wall clock out of battery. And holes in most of the fly screens.
Very dirty behind furniture.
The bunk beds for the kids were impossible for two children to sleep on. They were so squeaky and wobbly one of our children had to sleep on the sofa. They definitely need to be tightened or replaced.
Also as an FYI only - You need to write instructions on parking. We worked it out. But we had no info from agent or owner about the parking facilities. It is very confusing but when we worked it out, it was fantastic.

The location was great.
Across the road from the beach and walking distance to heaps of dining options.
The unit was an ok size for 6 of us.
Bit noisy outside in the morning with the buses starting at 5am, when windows close, the noise isn't as bad.
The carpark and access to the unit were very confusing. it took us a while to work it out.
There was no instruction manual telling us where the laundry and bins were located, I had to work it out for myself.
Once I found the laundry, I couldn't use it as it needed key access, which I didn't have. I rang the office, they were going to find out and get back to me but they didn't ring back.
The unit was tidy but not really clean. There was still sand on the floor upon arrival. There was sand broomed into the corner of the balcony when we first got there.
Under the beds were still really dusty, rubbish in some drawers, etc.
The bunk bed was very squeaky, and the kids couldn't sleep on the top bunk.

Location access to the beach
The access to the building was quite odd - lacked any access under shelter.

a BBQ would have been nice

Close to where we needed to be
Everything felt sticky and sandy

Very spacious, plenty of beds, great location, amazing views, easy access.
The cleanliness is the only con of this place in my opinion, the dishes weren't washed properly some were really bad, we washed everything before we used it. Walking around barefoot you can feel all the little pieces getting stuck to your feet, maybe management can just clean the floors and dishes more before check-in.

Great view and location. All you need for a weekend
Lots of security doors to open
Noisy late at night with pub up the road.

The view from the balcony was spectacular.
The unit was on the top floor and there were no lifts, so we had to drag our suitcases up four flights of stairs. The screen door to the balcony fell off the first time that we opened it. The dishwasher didn’t wash properly, a heater was broken and I slept on a bottom bunk, which I’m sure hadn’t had the quilt cover washed for a very long time. Windows to balcony were filthy and lastly, no internet. Except for great company and beautiful view, I certainly would not recommend this unit to anyone.

the place needs fans! there was only one & there are no air cons! also had to make our own beds!

Good location, great view from bedroom and balcony.
Beds not made on arrival, linen provided was very tough and uncomfortable. Lots of noise coming from street late at night from people leaving shoal bay country club. Woken up multiple times by this, not relaxing at all.

Location was amazing, right across from the bay. Shops, restaurants nearby.
Communication with the property was poor. I was receiving emails saying I had to pay for the booking otherwise it would be cancelled when I actually already paid Bcom in full. 1 lady from the property told me to contact Bcom which was weird because they should have communicated with Bcom. Anyway, the property was not new or renovated as advertised, rust was visible in many spots, one of the bedroom had massive leak on the ceiling when it was raining, we all ended up having to sleep in 1 room. We reported this the next day but the property didn't not offer anything in return of the inconveniences. Keys had to be returned by 10am at a location 10 min drive from the property, there was a very long line because everyone was there returning the keys. Not very convenient when we had other plans to explore Port Stephens on that last day.

Collecting the keys and returning them was extremely painful. When arriving at our unit we had to make our beds. There wasn’t any air conditioning in the unit. With the keys you had three different keys to get into the units. I expected better value for money. I wouldn’t recommend this unit to any family or friends.
