Super! 10 Min oberhalb Salerno, eigene grosse moderne Parterre-Wohnung in Familienhaus mit schöner grüner langer Gartenterrasse. Kapern u.v.a.m. blühen, Jasmin riecht gut. Relax pur.
Wer braucht da Ausflüge? :) Okay, mit Schiff an Amalfiküste (selber schuld wer den Autostress wählt) sollte man machen. Nur baden "muss" man im Meer.
Rosario kommuniziert perfekt, sehr angenehm fürsorglich. In Wohnung alles picco bello. 1x Frühstück offeriert, alles dabei (er fragt ob veg.), frische Sachen von hier, gibt locker noch ein Pasta Nachtessen her, und ein 2. Frühstück. Man möchte länger bleiben...

The owner Ros is a perfect example of a true gentlemen making sure that his guests feel welcome and are well informed about the do’s and dont’s in the area. Simple tips about where to park and what to see (or avoid) make Casa dei Caperi a perfect home from where to discover the beautiful Amalfi coast.

This was the best experience I have had in 10 years of travels. The house is located in a very quiet and peaceful mountains, only 10 minutes away from Salerno by car. The apartment didn't feel like a hotel room. It felt like home. Very well equipped kitchen, big refrigerator, very comfortable double bed, large bathroom and a living room. Everything had a personal touch, from books and guides on the area to small handmade decorations that make the house very special. The place was super clean and spotless. There is plenty of space to rest, work on a laptop or just sit outside with a book. Even though there are people living on other floors of the house, you can't hear anything except peaceful country sounds like distant dogs barking or birds singing. Incredible value for money, by far better than most of other smaller places in the area where you would only get a room in a BnB with some other tourists next door. But the most important thing about this place is the host. Rosario is one of the best people I have ever met. Very caring and attentive, he quickly responded to all of our requests, from finding a parking lot to a restaurant advice and even finding good ferry tickets. Rosario did everything to make our stay pleasant. We felt as if we were staying at a good old friend's house. Upon arrival, there was a generous set of cheese, ham, eggs and fruit in the fridge, and even a welcome bottle of wine. Rosario even brought fresh eggs from their family farm! One more thing: when we left for Napoli, we realised that forgot a valuable item in the house. When I asked Rosario if he could mail it to Russia, we was incredibly kind to personally take the drive to Napoli and bring it! I can only give my highest recommendations to Rosario's place and strongly advise you to stay at his place. Needless to say, I will not even look at other places when I come back to Amalfi region and will gladly stay at Rosario's House of Capers.
Probably the only thing about the location is that you will need a car. The place is super quiet, but it is outside of Salerno and there are no shops, restaurants, etc. within a walking distance.
