The staff were amazing- the staff were a family and treated us like family.
Amazing thai food and smoothies - great prices and fast service
The bed was so comfy
Ban tai is a great location (especially for the full moon). A great beach club a few doors down and nice cafe’s

The staff were super friendly, restaurant had amazing food, if you like spicy, order fried pork, it was great. The AC bungalow was great also the pool was perfect.

They have a very nice and comfortable bed and a nice view from the swimming pool. The bathroom is clean and it has a decent shower. You can relax by the pool and it has a nice view of the sea, and you can see Koh Samui.
The room is only cleaned after 7 days so if you need new toilet paper or the bin is full you need to ask them to clean it. Same for the towels. If they added a fridge and new towels every day or every 2 days it would have been a really good place to stay. The location is great but a motorbike is the best way to travel. Its to far to walk to a nightmarket.

Me and my 5 month pragnet wife went to this palce and we had our best hollyday ever. The stuffs and the owner was so helpfull and kind they actually helped and did everithing for us to have the most wonderfull time of our life. We stayed at the biggest house at the becah front with huge terrace and beautifull view. They let us use the pool all night which is awesome and it is mainatained so well it was crystal clear. The food was perfect for us and the prices were very friendly too. we visited a few other resort just as curiosity and we realised that it was the best choice because it is near to everithing but still very quiet. and the atmosphere of the whole resort is just fabulous. it was 100% Wonderful experience for us! We will go back here agan! Peter and Regina

The pool area and the price
The room facilities

I appreciated the pool and the view at the resort. Both were quite enjoyable.
I was dissatisfied with the excessively soft mattress that caused us to sink into it, the oversized pillows that were uncomfortable, the noise from the nearby road, and the thin curtains that allowed excessive light into the room in the morning. I hope this feedback helps in improving the guest experience at your resort.

The place was peaceful, perfect to relax. The bungalow was really spacious and the bathroom too. The staff is kind and helps you with whatever you need. It is located in one of the main Streets so you won’t have any problems to go anywhere (including full moon party) There are taxis everywhere at any time.
The matress was way too soft at the beggining but after lying there for a bit was actually pretty comfortable.

Staff were very welcoming and always happy to help, food was incredible, great location.

The location on the beach is lovely and the pool area is really nice, we tried the food from the restaurant which was nice and well priced. The bungalow was nice, we had a AC one and we wouldn’t recommend the fans ones if you don’t like insects as they are quite open at the top so anything can get in, but the AC one was closed.
Slightly basic rooms but you get what you pay for

I think it be okay if part of a couple
as a solo female traveler, I just got weird vibes off the place & checked out after 1 night

- clean pool
- 7 eleven across the street
- rental scooter few meters away
- nice and charming in the beginning, after few days you realize you want an air condition :D
- loud street
- bring your own fly net and a piece of a cord to install your mosquito protection. It seems that there is a fly net, but it doesn't work if the fan is on and there are a lot of holes in it anyway
- the roof is open, so there are a lot of insects, mosquitos and cockroaches all over the bungalow and in the bathroom

The location on the island was good if you have a scooter.
The room looks very nice and the room was clean. It was one of the few places in Thailand that had nice and soft beds.
The swimming pool was quite dirty.
The airconditioner wasn’t working well. We complained about it and they told us that they would have a look at it but in the end it wasn’t better the second night we stayed there.

The bed was extremely comfortable, the location is superb, the front beach is beautiful & clean, the wifi is perfect

Decent Location means it's 10 minutes by scooter into the town. The beach the property sits on Is very small but very beautiful, particularly when the sun is setting. The pool was great for the first week but wasn't cleaned the entire time we were there so it was cloudy and green by the second week of our stay, however the pool area is not busy and the sun loungers were always accessible. The staff were Helpful/polite when asked.
As I said previously the pool wasn't cleaned so on the second week it was green. There's no room cleaning unless you ask, no towel replacement, no loo roll left at your door (the staff are also not doing anything, they're mostly sat on their phones and so this makes the non-cleaning situation more frustrating).
Bathroom gets dirty very quickly, there's no floor separator for the shower so its essentially a wet room but we weren't supplied with any floor towels or anything, just two towels for drying after showering. The Restaurant was very poor, we ate once when we arrived and didn't finish our food it was so bad.
We booked knowing there was no Aircon, however we didn't realise there wasn't an enclosed ceiling, so there are tonnes of mozzies and the room gets very very warm. The net needed to stay on the bed the whole time and therefore there wasn't really anywhere to have a quiet minute in the room. Having looked back at the photos prior to submitting this review, it's really not clear that the fan only rooms are completely exposed to the outside, I wouldn't have booked the room if I'd have known, for the points I made above.

Very friendly staff, nice little beach, very shallow water so good for families with kids, Bungalows are nice.
I enjoyed the 1 day at the beach! But...
The bungalows right at the street are way too loud. It's the main road of Koh phangan and you have traffic all day and night. I couldn't sleep, so make sure to ask for a Bungalow that is further away from the street. The hotel should try to do something against this noise level, because like this these street front bungalows shouldn't be rented out at all in my opinion.
Food is cheap and okay, but not really recommendable.
No warm water in the shower
Pillows way too thick, can't understand how pillows like this exist, never experienced that before. Beds not comfortable in my opinion, also too soft.
In the mornings it gets very bright cause they curtains don't really darken the room

stunning beachfront location of the resort
friendly staff
delicious food
very pretty restaurant
the actual rooms are near the road (ours was about 20m away) which makes us unbearable at night and impossible to sleep due to the traffic noise
the pillows are rock hard
the hut is partially open at all times because the sun roof has no window just bamboo stick allowing huge gaps for animals to crawl in as well as bugs
the location is very far to walk to the centre (about 50 minutes) so you’d need a scooter

Nice bungalow, spacious and comfy. Good staff and restaurant. Pool also nice.
Noise from the street as its next to it.

the design and how simple is it. Also, it’s too close to the beach. Staff are too friendly and helpful
the breakfast menu was only selected items such as eggs, coffee, toast and jam

wood chipping falling from the ceiling onto our bed and ourselves at all times. toilet would detach from wall when sat on.

great location and the beach is beautiful. beach is secluded and only the guests using it. pool was lovely too. food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and accommodating and allowed us to check in early. We paid for the deluxe cabin which had air con. very comfortable bed!
There was no safety deposit box, kettle, fridge or hair dryer. these are only available in the bungalows. I feel a boardwalk would benefit the property. rubbish kept underneath the cabin making it look untidy but these are minor issues. cold showers
