Très bien mais trop loin du centre.

La vue est magnifique, les garçons adorables et disponible. La chambre sublime.

Trop loin du centre 4 kms fort dénivelé impossible de marcher, pas de restaurant et pas de climatisation.

Отель расположен далеко от центра, но это не проблема, можно легко доехать на тук туке. Приезжает Pick me.

The views! The high ceilings, it was spacious, staff was extremely helpful. Best stay out of my three month trip to Asia

It's not a hotel

View of Kandy valley was amazing.

It's not a hotel. Perhaps 'guesthouse' comes closer to describing Kandy Unique Hotel. The staff were friendly. However there are so many issues, most probably due to the owner's lack of investment. The room and overall facilities are at first very appealing. We booked a large room with an adjoining balcony. However the balcony is shared with other guests, one of whom made night phone calls right outside our bedroom. Could be easily separated with tables and chairs. The weather at night was cool. Blankets are not provided, just a thin sheet. I requested and was given 1 thin blanket. The advertised open fireplace does not exist. However the bathroom does have a spa bath... it just doesn't work. Water literally did not flow into the bathtub. The large windows are very low and allow the nextdoor neighbor and the balcony to view more of your bathroom activities than most will be comfortable with. The shower was large with good water pressure. However, the hot water was usually not working. The power board switches overloaded persistently. The phone to reception did not work so every time there was cold water we had to walk down 2 flights of stairs to advise. The staff would then walk in the bathroom, hold their hand under the shower to confirm it was cold. After 2 days of this, we resorted to flicking the overloaded power switches back on ourselves. My son only had 1 hot shower during a 4 day stay, while i got 3 but had to wait up till 2 hours to start the day. The bathroom door/handle was broken, and could only be closed from the inside, causing the door to be left open at all times except when in use. The weather started raining on day 3 which is no one's fault but this made the cold showers harder to endure. The location is beautiful, but 15 -20 minutes to reach town by car. While tuk tuks can be arranged.it was difficult to do this at short notice. Uber drivers did not accept pick up. There are no restaurants nearby.

Kandy is so beautiful!

The location was very good. Away from the main city. Very peaceful and quiet. The sunset view from the terrace was just excellent. The rooms are good and spacious. Overall, a very good experience! The host Vishwa is super nice and helpful :)

Great view and calm settings.

You should come for the beautiful view and sunset. The balcony is nice and the staff was always polite.

Small thing like constant dripping from roof onto metal sheet outside room could be heard all night. Did not mention it, so they did not have a chance to correct it to be fair. I would stay again if I was I Kandy again.

Beautiful stay on the top of Kandy

Absolute marvelous view, very quiet place and the hosts have been very friendly, good conversations. Very tasty local breakfast and dinner served with this fantastic view down to Kandy. Easy to go there with a Tuktuk.

Spectacular view

The view is simply astounding. Hotel is at the top of one of the hills surrounding the city. It's a 20 minute (about 420 rupee) tuk tuk ride from city center. Staff is friendly and helpful, though only Vishwa speaks good English. Meals are good though mostly vegetarian

Hot water depends on the weather as it is solar heated. On a cool and rainy day a shower was very brisk! I was there 5 nights...had to request that the room be refreshed.

Good hotel just too far and uncomfortable to reach city center

Beautiful view, huge rooms and shower. Delicious breakfast

I had to go down the lobby twice because phone wouldn’t work , toilet wouldn’t flush and shower did not get hot the first night. Next morning was ok.

Breath taking views

This place Is amazing the views are breath taking. Yes it a little drive out of Kandy 15 min tuktuk but if u want an exceptional views this is the home stay. My room massive king bed with open balcony over looking the city. Vishwa amazing host, him and his team look after from booking tuktuk, welcome drink and talking with me giving me local knowledge. I had a great stay shame I could done longer. The breakfast all home made the coconut pancaks are my favourite 😍. Thanks for welcoming to your home.

I can't fault this place it is a little was out so finding it was bit tricky if your driver not local but well worth the trip to top.

Hotel casi perfecto, le falla la ubicación

La habitación era enorme y muy cómoda. Todo estaba muy limpio.

La cisterna del váter hacia un ruido horrible que molestaba muchísimo. La ubicación tampoco es muy buena, está muy lejos de todo, no nos dimos cuenta al hacer la reserva.

Manificent View

I really liked the hotel! The view is magnificent. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The staff is friendly and courteous.

The only thing I was missing was some Sri Lankan vegetarian home cooking.

Δεν έχω λόγια να περιγράψω την ευγένεια περιποίηση εξυπηρέτηση και την διευκόλυνση σέ ότι χρειάστηκα.Και ο υπεύθυνος αλλά και το προσωπικό ήταν φανταστικοί ΕΥΧΑΡΙΣΤΏ ΓΙΑ ΌΛΑ ΘΑ ΘΥΜΆΜΑΙ ΜΕ ΧΑΡΑ ΤΗΝ ΠΌΛΗ KANDY.

Very good quality-price with amazing views of Kandy

Amazin views of Kandy city. Good place to get away from the bustle of the city. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. You can pay by card. Very good price-quality!!

The door of the room didn't close properly but we had another door, so it was ok.

Nice place with amazing view

I stayed in Kandy Unique hotel only one day and now I regret I didn’t extend my stay in Kandy. Room was large with amazing view. Staff is very friendly, nice and helpful. Breakfast was super tasty. I can recommend this place 100%

Amazing views! The room was really nice and comfortable. The owner/manager was really accommodating. Good breakfast.

While the view was awesome, the place is a bit far and rather hard to find. They didn't have ice cubes.

Would stay again!

Staff was very friendly, provided us with a better room for a same price (amazing view, very worthy!!!). Rooms are very clean (best out of all budget places we stayed at in Sri Lanka). Little bit out of the city center. The staff offers a dinner, if you come late you should call them to order a dinner in advance.

The sunset you'll never forget...

Unbelievable place you must visit! We loved that place so much, the view from the terrace is incredible, we were lucky to see the sunset, the room was unique... We're very grateful for the delicious Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast and hospitality. Amazing experience and the best location to stay away from the loud center of Kandy. But you can reach the place with the normal car or tuk tuk . Strongly recommend to visit this great place.

Incredible view and clean and comfortable rooms.

The view is incredible, by far the best view in Kandy. Just for the view alone it is worth the stay! The rooms are really clean, comfortable and spacious. The shower is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, great power and temperature and even the view from the bathroom is incredible! The host is really helpful and the breakfast was lovely. It is high up the hill which means it is a bit further out but the view makes up for that and using a Tuk Tuk it is easy to get to the main attractions. Definitely recommend to those staying in Kandy!

The view is great, the staff super friendly and helpful. A very peaceful place in a remote location.

No lunch or dining possible but the staff organised everything to be delivered and served at the restaurant.

Really nice view and the room was really spacious. The host was very helpful and arranged a tuktuk several times for us.

The location is nice for the view but tuktuk drivers don't really like to go up the hill and they sometimes get lost. The bed was super big, like 3 person sized. Fun, but squicky.

The location was superb! The ambience and the interior of the room was amazing. Cleanliness was notable. The staff were wonderful and humble especially Viswa the receptionist. He is having charming personality. If I visit again Sri Lanka I definitely will come and stay here for sure! A romantic vibe can be felt here!

the view was beautiful and the staff was very accommodating and kind! they go above and beyond to make the guests happy…overheard them agreeing to serve breakfast at 5:30am to guests before catching an early train. thankfully, I didn’t need that service. it’s a tuk tuk ride up the hill, but nice to be out of the chaos and worth it! definitely recommend!
