The apartment is very nice and clean. A walking path near the house leads to the town center and up to the lake.
I wish the payment could be made through booking. We had to withdraw money from the ATM at redicules trasnsaction costs.

Great Location as 5 minute walk (through wooded area) on path to Titisee or the nearest train station.
The apartment is a great size and can easily hold 5 (only 2 of us). Balcony gets the sun in the morning,
The host was a bit bit vague about checking out and only just made it (we needed to be away at 9am to drive to Paris).
There is a deposit of 100euro cash required which wasn't mentioned when booking. This worried me due to above!
We were pressured into buy a discount card, which we never used. Try to resist!

We rented the three apartments in their building.
The two apartments upstairs are wonderful and clean, the apartment in the basement is less good.
The landlady lives in the fourth unit, does not speak English, all communication is only through her daughter.
The experience in front of them was less pleasant, looking at which lights you turned on and which ulcer, how much you showered and at what time.
We were charged without justification for laundry even though it was not available most of the time.

the bed was comfy , and we got the red card
it was smell of gas , we stayed at the cellar , the entrance was through the garage , the floor was cold , the television was in not a comfortable place

Very close to the forest and Titisee lake, great location, very clean place, fully equipped kitchen and big apartment with terrace.
I'm sure that Diana means well, but
There are a lot of strict rules, which in general is no problem, but it just feels uncomfortable sometimes (no shower after 22pm, all lights has to be closed at night and so on..).
it was pretty hard to communicate with her .
The host lives downstairs and it feels like there's no privacy- almost everyday they entered the room while we weren't there- maybe it's for cleaning and changing towels, but I rather be asked before..and surely it's not necessary every day .
One last thing.. it was really cold - and no heating at all (the reason was no heating before october).

I really liked the staff and the room. The room was very pretty with traditional furniture, which makes it feel like you're living in a fairytale.
The lunch was more expensive than I expected, but apparently this is the standard. The breakfast was very good though.

No breakfast Given
Host sent far too many messages. Kept phoning us whilst we were out over trivial things

I did not eat the breakfast, but it was available. There were many food options near the place. It was quiet and comfortable. The host was so polite and accommodating. The location was great. We were able to walk to the lake in less than 10 minutes, the train was less than 5 minutes away, and the scenery was perfect.
I wish I could have spent more time there to take advantage of the coupons and various attractions in and near the Black Forest.

The host was wonderful and always available to provide assitance with information or suggestions. The location was lovely and central to where we were exploring. Facilities were comfortable and spacious for a family of 5.
nothing.

This property is more like an Air BNB than a booking experience. You feel like you are staying at the pleasure of the owner, it's not particularly private (she lives downstairs). There are many rules (most of which we were happy to obey) but the fact we had to negotiate an 11:15 checkout rather than 11 because our 7m old baby was asleep seemed ridiculous. That said, she means well and the place is tidy - there isn't a microwave in the kitchen if that worries anyone. Location is good and the place was clean.
