We loved our stay at the Sunset Regatta. It was the perfect location for our group of 11 with 1 of 3 pools directly across from us and steps away from all of the activities. We were welcomed into a airy, cool, bright and clean home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed for cooking meals and plenty of towels for everyone.Having direct access via text to management was helpful when needed. We look forward to our next visit and stay at the Sunset Regatta.

I believe this is our sixth year to stay at CS, and this was the best location and house that we have ever had. The patio was excellent and the house was above and beyond when it came to the amenities. That being said, there was quite a bit of frustration with the management company. The ice maker was not working in the refrigerator. When we alerted the front desk, they told us they were aware of the issue and that it would take a day or two to resolve. That never actually happened. On top of that, we suggested that a daily bag of ice be provided. We were told we could purchase ice but I explained that we were expecting a working ice machine and were only requesting 1 bag a day so we could have cold water/drinks. This was promised, but then was never truly executed unless we gave constant reminders.On top of this, the refrigerator did not cool below 55 degrees. Once again, the management company said they would take care of this issue promptly. This never happened during our stay, and we ended up having to throw away $100 worth of food that went bad and keep our food in coolers and purchase ice to keep the food from going bad.The issue was not with items not working as this happens. The issue was that the management company was slow to react and then had to constantly be reminded to do what they said they would do. There appears to be a breakdown between the front desk and the people doing the work. We kept getting referred to the ticketing system by the front desk with very vague promise times, and even then, what they were saying would never actually happen. It was very frustrating to not have a refrigerator/ice maker and then must constantly be seeking updates on what was happening.

We always enjoy our time there and have stayed in this particular house 3 times. We have stayed in numerous other houses at Cinnamon Shore and these owners have gone out of their way to stock the house with the items you need. We did have one large problem this time which prevented us from using one of the three bedrooms. A family of owls had set up shop under the eve on the roof above that bedroom which sounded like a heard of cattle. The owner was very understanding and provided an alternative solution to us not being able to use the bedroom.

Even with dreary weather, our whole family ( ages 10-73) had a wonderful time over Thanksgiving week! The kitchen was extremely well stocked for all your cooking needs, with over the top appliances. Great bedrooms, with each having a nice bathroom. Cozy community feel, with quick trip into Port Aransas itself.

We really loved Sunset Regatta! The home and yard is in excellent shape and very well maintained. The location is perfect for the beach and the Dune Pool. Our only concern is there is only one entrance/exit in this house. The back door goes into the garage which understandably is kept locked. But seems a safety issue to me. Great location and great home. Well furnished and plenty of room for my family of 11.

Loved our stay at Sunset Regatta! The house is perfectly situated midway between the beach and town center and across from the pool A beautiful home with interior design that I love. The room layout was perfect for our group and we can envision it for the future with little ones. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you would need, and more! We loved eating outside on the deck, and the evenings we enjoyed games, and trips to the center for ice cream or live music. Beach service was fun - such wonderful customer service down there. Just loved it! Can't wait to come back to Cinnamon shore and the Sunset Regatta.

This is a beautiful home with all the amenities you could ever ask for. The location was perfect for us with a pool right across the street and the beach within an easy walk. Our vacation was truly perfect with one exception which had nothing to do with the home itself. We heard nightly activity we thought was in the attic. Maintenance came right away and assured us there was nothing there. We believe the all night screeching and scratching we heard was actually owls or birds nesting near the roof. My hope is the owner sees this and makes sure they are doing no damage to the property. If they are nesting, perhaps there is a way to keep them from building here next year. We will be back, with earplugs just in case.

Our only complaints were that there was not a sidewalk from the front of the house to the back carport. Furthermore, access to the carport from inside the house was not available to us as renters. Our annual family trip to Cinnamon Shore did not disappoint! Sunset Regatta was a wonderful house and met our needs for everyone (10). Awesome location for afternoon swims in Dune pool and getting to the crossover.
The only complaint we had was that several closets were not available to put our things in as they were owner closets. Most likely that was not thought out when building the home. If you don't mind things stacked up in the kitchen then no biggy. The other inconveniences were not having an elevator, which we knew beforehand, and there was not an access through the house to the back parking to load and unload.
All in all, we would definitely stay there again. The home was beautiful, spaces were great, it was well stocked and again right across the street fro Dune Pool.

The only downside to this property is the faint smell of cigarette smoke. You get a whiff when you enter the front door, and it dissipates the longer you're inside. Unfortunately though, it's definitely there. We did all of our laundry before leaving, hoping to unpack clean clothes when we got home, but when we unzipped our bags everything smelled like stale cigarette smoke and had to be rewashed.
Aside from that it was a 5-star experience!

We loved our week at Sunset Regatta. The house was very organized and well appointed. Plenty of everything that we needed. Wish there was a Keurig but other than that the kitchen met all our needs. We lacked a pantry but the owner left a section in the kitchen to use for our dry goods. Great location and close to all the activities in Cinnamon Shore! We would rent it again!

The perfect weekend
This vacation property is absolutely wonderful. We prefer to stay in high end hotels and this home was 5 star all the way. It was sparkling clean, decorated and designed beautifully, and was a great location in the community. The kitchen had all the cookware and items you could need. The quality of the furniture, linens etc was top notch. The outdoor decks were also clean and the furniture out there was great. The barbecue was also a nice asset to have. We will definitely stay in this home again.

Good Time in Spite of Problems
The home is beautiful and we enjoyed the location, but we had some points of concern:
1. We had an emergency maintenance issue late at night and the maintenance person lives an hour away. Yes, we lost some sleep.
2 . The owner has locked the pantry in the kitchen. We had food bags all over the floor because the guest pantry is one kitchen cabinet which does not store food for 12 people.
3. Directions for how to lock the hurricane doors were lying flat on a shelf. This was problematic.

This is the second time we have rented this house and we could not be happier. The layout is perfect for either a very large family or two medium sized families. We had 8 people (four in bunk room) and had an extra room left over. The wrap around deck is unique and makes for a great place to have coffee or eat outside.

We were very happy to find a house that would allow us to stay for 4 night this summer. This place is a gem. It is close to the pool, close to the gym and close to the boardwalk. It is "well equipped" for families (although a pantry would be nice), the kitchen otherwise has everything you would need.

We rent a lot of homes for vacations since we have a big family and this is the best one we have ever rented. The layout is perfect for family bonding and you will be able to cook in this perfect kitchen for any size group. Big TV for watching the games and we were across the street from the dunes pool so you could watch the kids from the pool. You are very close to the beach and the great lawn. This place is beyond well decorated and everything is there to make your stay enjoyable.

The Sunset Regatta was a great family place for us. Had 4 bedrooms that gave each of my children their own room as well as a great master bedroom. It was right across the street from the pool which was nice. Highly recommend this place
