About this house rental
Spacious 4 bedroom 3 bath A-frame with lake views. Sleeps 10.
The home is fully equipped with luxury towels and linens, a well appointed kitchen, washer and dyer, propane bbq, wifi, pellet stove, and even an outdoor firepit.
Relax and take in the natural beauty of this secluded home with lake views surrounded by lush vegetation (and occasional resident deer) yet only one mile from the small, friendly town of Lakeside. NOTE: We do not have lake access. The marina down below us is private property and no trespassing. There is lake access in town at the County park and other points.
Located midway between Coos Bay and Reedsport, it offers several restaurants, bars, marinas, a county park with boat launching facilities, and a sandy beach.
You can charter an ocean fishing expedition or explore the beaches in Winchester Bay, only 10 minutes away. We are in the heart of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
Ten Mile Lakes consist of the North and the South lakes, connected by a canal, and are renowned for superb fishing; largemouth bass, trout, crappie, bluegill, and catfish. The lakes are in a picturesque setting of calm waters and lush vegetation.
Ten Mile Lakes are excellent for water skiing, wake boarding, wading, sailing, and boating. you can even rent a houseboat at the marina in town.

I like that it was close to town but in the woods, so that venturing into town for breakfast at the lodge is easy.

Great location. Very nice house, plenty of room. We all had an awesome time. Hit the dunes on our quads and side by side. You can ride there from the house. We brought our boat and spent time on the lake. We also rented a pontoon boat and a skidoo. The whole family had a blast. Will be back again.

The house was perfect for our fishing trip in the Coos river one day and Winchester Bay the next. It was clean and very comfortable. We got to take home plenty of salmon and crab!!!

Our team really enjoyed their stay. Host was super accommodating, even allowed late checkout. Highlight was all the blackberry bushes in the backyard.

Our second trip and will book again next year. Very nice area, quite and peaceful; Nice house, easy access to get to,, Great communication with owner; excellent. Very responsive and quick on reply's to questions. Nice home. great parking for even a trailer or boat. Lots of deer to see with your morning coffee or even Bird watching.

It worked out well for our family. There were 7 of us and it accommodated us nicely. The extra parking is nice and also the fire pit at night. =)

Great Place, Quite and friendly
Check in was a breeze, on arrival there were deer on the property. House was clean and comfortable. Quiet and relaxing after a long day at Reedsport Chainsaw Carving Event. Property owner sent text messages, very friendly.
Close to Coosbay and the sand dunes.

This house served its purpose for our large group. Place could have been cleaner, but it wasn't terribly dirty. Beautiful piece of wooded property close to the lake. Description of place is accurate. We saw quite a few bats at night. I think there are some living in the walls/roof!

Kitchen was small but functional as well. Family room was large and a good place to be. WiFi was pretty good but did have some dead spots in the house where speed was real slow. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the area.

Our family will definitely be returning to the Lakeside House in Lakeside, Oregon! The house and property were even better than the photos in the description. We loved the beautiful nearby woods, lakes, and privacy while only a few minute away from quaint towns with more than adequate shopping experiences for tourists and access to food, gas, beaches and the amazing sand dunes. We saw deer walk through the property on a regular basis. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. We enjoyed a full-sized kitchen, bbq, and firepit for meals. The internet and wi-fi was excellent to watch movies on a giant flat-screen TV (DVD player was also available). All the bedrooms had excellent mattresses and pillows, plus extra bedding, while all three bathrooms had luxurious towels, The laundry room had full-sized washer and dryer and detergents provided for those, as well as the full-size dishwasher. We baked in the electric wall oven, full-sized microwave, and built-in island cooktop. It's already stocked with pots, pans, small appliances (toaster oven, 4- slice toaster, blender, coffee maker, glasses of all sizes, ceramic dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils. The pellet stove was easy to use and kept us very warm and comfortable. We loved the coordinated decor that lent a beachy feel to a woodsy home. The interiors were so beautiful with the combination of wood floors, new carpet, tile, wood paneling and exposed beams to create the best of both beach house and wood cabin that we've ever found. I wish we could keep this our secret getaway!

In Love with Lakeside House!
Our family will definitely be returning to the Lakeside House in Lakeside, Oregon! The house and property were even better than the photos in the description. It was so comfy and had everything we needed and more. We had all ages and were never bored or on top of each other. We were minutes from the dunes. Even with a long power outage and storm we enjoyed. Parking with trailers was the only issue, especially trying to get out and turned around with out sinking in the mud was the only issue we had. We hope they will have us back
