Good stay near Nea Chora beach

The host is the best ever. He is always there to help you over the message in the booking app. He is very quick to answer all your questions. Good location near the main beach and around 15 minutes walk to the city centre. Beds were comfy and the small apartment has everything you need.

Internet was slow and sometimes there was no signal. The water didn’t run hot straight away but you might need to wait for around 5 minutes to get hot water from the shower.

For the corner room, I think upgraded room: - Spacious room - Good window light in the room, balcony, view, bed - Easy access

For the upgraded room, number 11: - Bad to no Wifi connection (the complex needs a more powerful Wifi, because nether the phones or the laptop couldn't connect at this corner sided room) - could have better towels (they were not a 10 for sure)

Nice view from the balcony to the sea. Good to have kitchen to be able to make some food.

Quick check in due to communication at booking.com. I got the room very easy and the kea to the door was left inside the apartment.

The bed wasn't comfortable. It started to hurt my back the first night. There should have been mattress topper to solve this issue. I used an extra plaid to try and solve it, but it didn't work.

A gem of a place

Staff are so friendly and very helpful. When we had a problem with the cooker Kleri and her husband fixed it immediately . We loved the location near the beach.

Nice location near the beach. Good kitchenette. Drying lines on balconies. Adequate shopping nearby.

It was very clean and the bed was perfect.

Did not feel safe leaving balcony door open at night, so it was either a/c or stuffy room. Needs some kind of screen between balconies.

Location is ideal as you have everything you need. Balcon and the view are nice. The beach is 5 min walk. The host was responsive and kind.

The bathroom is small and could use a renovation. We could also hear the noise as walls aret thin, so I sugest getting an ear plugers.

It was a big and clean room, with good amenities and a balcony. The check-in went smoothly. There was a good bathroom with a very nice shower

The bed was a bit broken, so you couldn't sit at the foot end. The location was not our thing, that close to the touristy beaches, but since it was a bit outside the city center, it was easy to take the car and go somewhere else.

Much better than we expected and good value for the money.

The location was close to Kladissos and Nea Chora beaches, at one minute away from a fantastic bakery and 2 minutes away on foot from a market that was open late in the night. The room was very clean, the bed sheets were changed three times during our 10 days holiday. The room had basic kitchen utensils but enough for us. We had free AC. The host was very nice to us, he offered us a sun umbrella when we asked him that we could take with us at the beaches. The room is comfortable even if it is small. The location is one minute away from a bus station (no. 20) and at 1 km away from the central KTEL bus station from where we could go to the places we wanted to visit. The waves could be heard at night from the balcony, the area is quiet at night. Most part of the day the balcony has shade, from the morning until 5 o'clock.

There were no mosquitos nets at the balcony door and there were a lot of mosquitos, it hard to sleep with the door open and if you close it gets very warm and uncomfortable. We had only one roll of toilet paper in the room for the first 3 days.

Good value for short stay

Spacious room, with balcony overlooking the ocean, strong wifi, nice shower, powerful little fridge. Easy parking in the area.

Some rooms seem to be rented on a monthly basis because next door balconies were packed with clothes, shoes etc.. not a nice sight. Also, doors are not solid and have handles on both sides, had to lock at all times and still didnt feel safe.

The location, size of room was ok.

No hairdryer in room. Only one for 16 rooms and was never returned to storage therefore unavailable. Kitchen poorly equipped. Not all rooms had renovated washrooms.

Inexpensive place close to intimate beach

The location is great - close to an intimate beach, bakery, shop, tavern. Late check-in and luggage storage on the last day of stay is possible. A kitchenette with a fridge, an electric kettle and a hob. Cleaning and towel change (contrary to information in the corridors) every two days. A nice surprise was the safe in the wardrobe. Wi-Fi worked fine. Nice balcony with chairs and table. Efficient air conditioning. A smart choice in Chania for those looking for an inexpensive place to sleep outside of the loud and crowded city center.

The bed in our room was extremely uncomfortable, the pillows were flat and small. In the bathroom the drain in the tub was blocked and the water was cold in the morning. Our recommendation for owner: take better pictures of the rooms and the building and put more information for guests at the reception. :-)
