Fantastic host: responsive, accommodative, very much caring. Amazing location, beautiful room, air conditioning, large spacious bathroom, all the perks. Then Celsa also helped me a lot with the planning and getting me a bike. Great breakfast that she makes from scratch and interesting conversations! One of the best stays of the decade for me! Can't recommend it enough to reflect on how great this place and the host is!

The location was in the historical centre, close to parking and restaurants, all of which went beyond our needs

Wonderfull host! She is very helpful to make sure you have the best time in Marsala! And also to make sure you don't go to the tourist traps. Also we did the diner at her little restaurant and we had the most amazing and honest food and wines. The room and house are also amazing and very central. Definitely recommend!!!

IL Profumo del Sale is an exceptional guest house and our stay there was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Host Celsa is extremely friendly, charming and interesting, she was very easy to communicate with before our stay and offered to collect us from the bus station due to the extreme heat. She plied us with many little extras during our stay, her lovely and eclectically decorated guest house is peaceful and quiet yet one minute walk from the beautiful cathedral and central plaza. Our bedroom was large and had a comfortable bed, balcony and walk in shower with many posh soap and body moisturiser and perfume products. The breakfast was huge and delicious, using fresh locally sourced products and served with excellent coffee. Celsa is a superb chef and sommelier, and the absolute highlight of our stay was the evening meal she and her charming son Tankredi prepared, 5 courses with a glass of carefully selected Sicilian wine or liqour to accompany each course, together with amusing explanations of the history and ingredients of each. She reimagines and recreates traditional and almost - lost recipes, all organic and served in her atmospheric bar/ restaurant room. Both the accommodation and the meals are exceptionally good value. Most highly recommended.

Beautiful hideaway in the centre of historical centre of Marsala. Very warm and enthusiastic welcome by our host Celsa. We were delighted to learn Celsa is a highly skilled chef over many years and offered a 5 course tasting menu with wine, celebrating centuries old recipes from Sicilian history. No menu to choose - it was a secret…Believe me - it did not disappoint. Each one was simple but wow was it a treat. A focus on minimal / organic ingredients from a history long forgotten (we were told) and brought back to life by Celsa. Her knowledge of history and culinary interpretation really came through with every course. Everything was homemade or sourced (wine) with an amazing attention to detail. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!!! Each course had a short but captivating explanation of its place in time and location delivered with genuine passion.
Breakfast was the same - all organic, and everything home made. Wonderful.
The house and bedroom tastefully decorated - so that ticked the boxes too. Location great. Overall the host Celsa makes this a truly memorable experience. Thank you!!!!

This BnB is exceptional in every way. The location is incredible, in the heart of the Centro Storico. Celsa is an amazing host who takes the time to talk and explain about Marsala. She is an incredible chef, and is passionate about ancient Sicilian cuisine. She has a 2 table micro restuarant in her home where she serves amazing 5 course meals based on historical recipes - this has been one of the highlights of our trip. It is an experience we will never forget. Breakfast is similarly superb. Thank you Celsa for a wonderful stay and incredible experience!

Celsa is an exceptional host. It feels like staying in her home. There are so many lovely touches like toiletries and filtered water provided. The breakfast was amazing with everything homemade and Celsa also made us an optional dinner in her little restaurant which was an unforgettable experience. Amazing value for money. Perfect location just off main square in Marsala.
Parking options are not great.

This beautiful B&B is in the Perfecto location, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious.
The hostess was absolutely helpful and provided clear information for parking, restaurants, etc. However, at breakfast, she was a bit overbearing and didn’t allow for much time for us to just sit and enjoy our meal and the company of the other guests. I’m sure she meant well, her enthusiasm for her guests is effusive.

Perfect location right next to the cathedral but really quiet. Celsa was a great host- provided a hand drawn map with lots of suggestions of what to do and see in Marsala.
Our room was huge and immaculate- the private bathroom was just outside so not a problem at all
not being en suite.
Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Sicily- homemade bread, ricotta, jams, yoghurt- delicious. Celsa now provides the option of dinner which we would have had if we were staying for more than one night especially as restaurant options are a bit limited in Marsala.

The property is in the centre of the old town within 20 mts of the Cathedral and everything is easily accessible.
Celsa told us where to park outside of the ZTL and its a short walk to the property.
Celsa is very warm and friendly and speaks excellent English, she told us where to visit and what to avoid !
Sadly we only stayed one night ,If we had known how well we'd be received and the excellence of the facilities we would have arranged to stay longer ,unfortunately our itinerary didn't allow for this...next time we'd be sure to book a longer stay !
One of the highlights for us was eating with Celsa ,she is a professional chef and has started to provide guests with an evening meal. We hadn't booked anything for the evening so we ate in the lovely little dinning room she has prepared to dine in .
We had a fabulous 3 course meal ,with wine pairing and an explanation of the food and wine provenance. Everything was organic (as were all of the shampoos/soaps and bottled water)

This accomodation is a beautiful house with every comfort you could wish for. It's in the centre of Marsala with easy access to all top 10 things to do on your visit.
Owner Celsa is a beautiful human being. She invested so much time and effort for every guest to ensure our stay was perfect, sharing knowledge and information on the area. Her recommendations for visits, trips, places to eat and the history of the area and Sicily were great.
The cherry on the cake was her breakfasts which in all my travels I have never had anything that matches it. Home made bread, yoghurts, jams, cake , fresh juices and local cheeses.
I would strongly recommend this accomodation. She even provided a lift to the airport as it was raining heavily on the day I was departing. First Class hospitatility and amazing host.

the house is very graceful, comfortable and clean. The host Cetta filled the kitchen with homemade products - jams, yoghurts, bread, even a fluffy chocolate cake! She gave info on the city and had interesting chats. She took great care of the breakfast, for which she cook even more. A highly enjoyed stay!

Our host Celsa, was very welcoming. Her property is immaculate and the room we had was very spacious and very nicely decorated! She made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived!
The breakfast was made of home made yogurts, jams, cakes and breads with also some artisan cheeses. I would go back there for breakfast every day if I could!
The place is located a few steps from piazza de la Repubblica, so very close to anything you want to visit.
If you need any tips on where to go to eat, Celsa will point you to the right direction!
Overall we had a great stay and strongly recommend the place.
Nothing to dislike!!

This B&B is really beautiful and located very centrally. Indeed, it is just a few metres from the main square. Our room was impeccably decorated - we even found a jug of fresh water and some sweets to welcome us when we arrived. On top of the toiletries you would generally find in a hotel/B&B room, Celsa, our host, had also left some after sun, handmade soap bars, razors, body lotions, perfumes, etc. The breakfast was superb. We were served home-baked cakes, pancakes and bread, as well as homemade jams, yogurt and kefir. Celsa also offered us some local cheese, which was delicious, as well as tea and coffee. In the breakfast room we could also help ourselves to hot and cold drinks all day long. Our stay was absolutely perfect! Thanks very much Celsa!
Nothing! Indeed, everything was absolutely perfect!
