Rust in Bogota. schoon appartement en vriendelijke host. Vanuit appartement loop je zo de leuke wijk in
Helemaal niets

The location was fine. The entire building was beautiful. The small kitchen was very useful.

Yes cheap place very close to the centre
All good only cause it’s sat the top of hill with the altitude leaves u a little out of breath specially if u have just eaten and had some beers 😂😂😂😂

Location good, Nilson very nice and helpful
Awkward checkout, breakfast snacks were rancid and old.

Jolie maison style colonial

Tres belle maison. Bon emplacement.
Chambres très humides malheureusement

Schönes authentisches Studio. Nilsson war sehr hilfsbereit.
Gute Lage.
Es fehlte eine Sitzgelegenheit neben dem Zimmer

The place was exactly what we expected. We felt like we were in a historic place in Candelaria. The place was very rustic and we felt we had gone back in time. It was quiet and we enjoyed our stay in the perfect location to enjoy Candelaria.
Even though this place brought us back in time, the comfort level was ok. The kitchen was tiny, bathroom was tiny, the mattress was a bit hard. But for the price we paid, it was a great place.
4.5
Goed werkende WiFi! Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.
Alles was top :)

If you’ll be on foot the location is about 800 meters (0.5 miles) from plaza de bolivar. It’s an upward walk, but the wonderful reward is a beautiful view of a long street decent to lower elevations.
A 1.9km upslope walk from the Montserrat Funicular. If you don’t want to walk taxi here is very cheap.
It’s an old world charm property with a courtyard and a fountain in the middle, a perfect rendition of the Andalusian style, tranquility illustrated!
My room was huge, with a kitchen and a bathroom. On demand hot water and heating unit works perfectly for the October chilly nights.
Cash only. The owner said he would try to change it.

The place is super confortable and clean. We were able to cook in a small kitchen which was amazing. The small pateo is really nice to stay too.
The place is in an amazing location, though it is really on the top of the hill, so it was exausting to go home everytime.

Everything was excellent about this place, from the hosts who helped with arrangements such as letting me in early to put down my bags, to helping 'ordering' a late-night airport taxi. I loved this pace so much - absolutely beautiful. I'll be back!
4.5
It was walking distance from everything and still very very quiet! Nielson, the man who helped me with my room was fantastic- warm, kind, patient! Its an amazing city- full of culture and the style of the hotel feels so genuine.
The hotel was at the top of a very steep hill. STEEP. I know people who live there can do it no problem. BUT woof. Heavy breathing. I think the higher altitude does not help particularly. Also the shower was a little wonky- it was fine, but the hot water was a little “dribbly”.

Lovely building with wonderful apartments with everything you would need. Staff were really helpful when we wanted to extend our stay and with anything else we needed. Would recommend to anyone wanting a place to stay in Bogota
Slightly noisy outside in the morning but manageable and it is Bogota.

Staff was very helpful
Creepy, old building with squeaking floors, very basic amenities, and only cold water in the sink. Not sure why anyone would want to stay here.

Very nice staff, Nilsen. Accommodating owner, Santiago. Very pretty and convenient to busses that go to monserrate and also walk to Bolivar Plaza.
Hill to and from Bolivar Plaza is very steep and not good for elderly or unhealthy persons. Area is somewhat empty after 10PM, as is true of many historic districts in LatAm and Europe.

The host was very kind and accomodating
The location is next to various bars and restaurants and all the charms of candelera but just on the edge of the neighborhood that is considered unsafe. The host and a local taxi driver advised us against walking home alone at night. While I'm not a nervous traveler this information made me take an Uber back every night.
The room we had was very humid and basic. This is a step above a hostel and not a hotel. But it was cheap, clean and quaint.

manager Don Nielsson was very helpful

Nilson was so kind and tended to our needs. We checked in late and he was able to help us out and was very friendly and open to asking any of our questions.
Nothing-just the location that it’s on the top of a hill and could be tiring to walk up and sometimes inconvenient for taxis to go to. Was still able to get around with taxis so it all worked out (:

The hosts were great, Nilson made sure we had everything we needed and Santiago was helpful over the phone too.
The location is excellent, within walking distance to everything you need in Candelaria. It's super quiet and doesn't feel like you're in a city at all.
The kitchen was small but had all the things we needed to cook many meals. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfy! The shower was nice and hot even though the water pressure was a bit low.
The WiFi was strong and stable.
We liked it so much we stayed 2 extra nights and would definitely stay here again.
That we had to leave! It was so nice!

Very cute house in La Candelaria. Great to visit montserrate and old town with its museums. Also some good restaurants and cute cafes closeby. The staff was very kind and helpful.
It was a bit cold in our room and the heating didn't manage to heat it up. At night, the district is not the best, so you should better get a taxi, but during the day it's perfectly fine and many security staff on the streets.

nelson was very nice.
location is on the verge of a nice neighbourhood.
the house is very pretty.
there is kitchen in the room.
the floor has loud squeaky noise. there is a slope you need to climb every night going back to the hotel :P

The location is great, I walked to all the museums and restaurants. There are small, old time grocery stores and bakeries down the street that I walked to get my coffee, bread, fruits and milk. The hostel is just like in the photos, my room was large and had a small kitchen with a fridge The kitchen also had a French Press that I used every morning to make coffee. It is located in a quiet street and because it is in La Candelaria the area had a lot of police which made you feel very safe.
Everything about this place was good except the old fashioned keys to all the doors. I had trouble opening all the doors, yes, two doors at the entrance and the door to my room. Nielsen was very nice and patient and told me how to open the doors but it was frustrating for me. I had an early morning flight so Nielsen came to the house at 6:15am so that I did not have to worry about locking the doors and he helped me with my bags.
4.5
The staff was great, especially Santiago who was very helpful in getting us to the hotel at our arrival and with other requests we had. The location was good, although there is no one walking the streets after 8:00 pm. Best to take a taxi. But there are many good restaurants near the hotel. The room was in a charming old colonial house, with a small kitchen. It also had a heater in the room to help with cooler Bogota nights. We did a great bike tour with Bogota bikes, highly recommended. As well, a tour of the Salt Cathedral is well worth it.
The lack of people in the evening around the hotel.

The room is fantastic lots of room even comes with a small kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals. plus as soon you open the door snacks, bottle water and coffee are there in top of the dinning table as a welcome. safe and nice pace great value for the money. 100% satisfied.

the location is great (although the last bit is somewhat steep) and the people are great. rooms are good sized, and the building is a great example of historical houses!
our room bordered on the street, in the morning rush is was a bit noisy

Beautiful and comfortable room in a historic courtyard building. Very clean. Loved having a kitchenette to make breakfast. Easy communication with Santiago. Nielson was very helpful with check in. Great location just up up the hill from the Candelaria museums and plaza.
Bring earplugs in case you get a room facing the street. The road just up the hill is a bit noisy.
