Just what we needed, would recommend.

Breakfast was really good, really good choice of things you could have and all cooked to.perfection. The proprietor was really lovely and so friendly.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Drew und Penny waren unglaublich herzlich und gaben uns gute Tipps fürs Abendessen. Das Frühstück war super und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Leider waren wir als Wanderinnen nur eine Nacht in Lynton.

Unser Zimmer war sauber, leider sehr klein, wir hatten kaum Platz für unser Gepäck, aber für eine Nacht war es okay und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen, weil es sehr ruhig war.

Excellent, very enjoyable stay - too short!

Lovely stay! The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent - warm, clean and great view. Southview has a great location within 100 metres of Lynton. The breakfasts were the best we have ever had. We would definitely stay again.

Comfortable hotel with excellent breakfast but no secure bike storage.

Location on cycle route. Comfortable room with large en-suite that included a bath (a bonus). Excellent breakfast - indeed the best we had on this holiday.

No means of securing our expensive bikes or charging the integral battery on my bike. The wall hooks mentioned when we booked were too small to accommodate our insurance mandated locks. I suggest one of the following options: 1. Change hotel policy and allow clean bikes into the hotel - all other hotels we have used over the last six years touring allow this when they do not have a garage, bike shed or other secure accommodation. 2. Install an insurance certified bike anchor point and an external power point for charging 3. State clearly in the hotel details that they cannot accommodate bikes overnight.

Der ideale Ort um sich von den Strapazen unserer Wanderung zu erholen.

Sehr nette und sympathische Gastgeber, die keine Wünsche offen ließen. Stil- und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Überaus gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Besonders die frisch zubereitete Obstschale ist erwähnenswert.

Wonderful location in a scenic town in a great B&B

Great location in a pleasant street, good breakfast selection and nice dining area, pleasant owners.

Our room and bathroom were too small considering the price and would merit a facelift. More flexibility with check-in/check-out times would have been welcome.

This B&B is what B&B's should be like. Drew & Penny were delightful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Be it where to eat or where to visit they were so helpful in giving advice.

wonderful location, just in the right part of Lynton AND with parking. Breakfast was lovely, fresh and nothing was too much trouble.

our room was a little bit cosy, but as we were out all day it didn’t matter. plus you could sit outside in the evening on the front terrace which was lovely !

Everything. The owners are the most wonderful people and the place is charming, comfortable, peaceful. So many little details that make your stay one to remember, like bath bombs. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The hosts were very welcoming, great to have parking and only a few minutes from the town

The breakfasts were amazing, loads of choice, cooked fresh and the fruit salad was fabulous. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. The room was great, very comfy after our days walking the coast path. Great to have parking although the local car park was 2 minutes away and only £5 all day. It's a brilliant location to the town with the amazing cinema only a few minutes away -a must see if you are staying. Loads of restaurants and cafes within 5 minutes offering lots of choice for different budgets. We'll be back again for a sightseeing weekend next year

I had an amazing weekend, and Penny and Drew were great hosts, who were more than helpful.

The breakfast was exceptional, all fresh ingredients and made to order. The service was amazing, and Penny and Drew were very welcoming and attentive.

The house was beautiful, and the main breakfast room was comfortable with lovely views, but my room needed a little updating and better wifi.

Great room, delightful hosts, wonderful breakfast, stunning landscape

Great breakfast, we counted 14 different fruits in the fresh fruit salad. Delightful hosts, we had so much fun. And they gave very good advice on walks and other things to do (Exmoor Forest Safari!). And the area is stunning. Don't only use this as a stop over on your way to Land's End, it's well worth a week's holiday.

Exceptional

The location was perfect for exploring Lynton. Our host Drew was very helpful in suggesting a nearby restaurant and booking a nearby restaurant. The breakfast was outstanding! We thought parking on the street would be a problem, but after 4pm, spaces conveniently opened up. The room was very comfortable with everything we needed.

The best! Warm welcoming and great food!

Outstanding breakfast and they where extremely welcoming. Local knowledge for food and walks was the best.
