Recomendable. Buen desayuno

Desayuno bueno. Centrico. Un jardin y un entorno precioso. Se ven muchas aves La sra. les pone comida y se escuchan los monos congos por la mañana temprano aunque es dificil verlos.

No funciona el ventilador. Cama y mobiliario viejos aunque confortable. Poca atención y poca información sobre el lugar. No se puede pagar con tarjeta que es un fastidio.

Comfortable B&B

Hosts were very friendly. They have a small B&B managed well. Landscape behind the house is very pretty. Breakfast was delicious. They asked for our preferences and cooked accordingly. Eating on the porch with pretty plants as our view made our morning enjoyable.

Stayed in a clean, comfortable and self locked room

The hosts were outstanding. There is a secured parking area. The grounds are beautiful and you can watch birds eating from their feeder while you have breakfast on their patio. My breakfast consisted of fresh coffee, juice, sweet roll, fresh cut fruit and a huge burrito.

Fue una experiencia increíble dormir en Marita’s house. Nos trataron muy bien, cuidando cada detalle, incluso le hicieron un pastel a mi amiga por su cumpleaños. La habitación muy cómoda, y tenían agua caliente, que en la mayoría de hoteles no hay. El desayuno estaba riquísimo y las vistas eran preciosas. Es un sitio increíble y muy cuidado por Marita y Albert, pero la atención al cliente es inmejorable.

Perfect stopover leaving a warm memory of caring hosts

Superb breakfast. Friendliness and flexibility of hosts, who were non-intrusive but very accessible if needed. Comfortable bed. Variety of birds to be seen in garden. Host's recommendations for eating (Moya's pizza very good). Off street parking.

Some traffic noise but it was not overly disruptive in our room. Ready access to a fridge would have been useful but I am sure if we had asked the hosts they would have offered use of their fridge.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad en ik kom zéker nog eens terug!

De sfeer in het huis is erg aangenaam en de kamer was met veel smaak gedecoreerd. Eigenaars zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij geweest en hebben een prachtige tuin

De naastgelegen weg is wat druk maar daar staat tegenover dat alles op loopafstand ligt.

Tolle Unterkunft

Unglaublich nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber , sehr sauberes Zimmer und schmackhaftes, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Die Vögel im Garten sind absolut genial. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen! Das Bett ist zwar etwas klein für zwei Personen aber alles andere ist TOP!

Stay like home

Marita and Alfredo are very nice people and we felt completely comfortable. The room was simple but very clean and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast with a view of the beautiful garden, especially for birdwatchers there is a lot to see. If we are again in the area we will definitely stay there again.

Lovely stay in Nuevo Arenal

Nueva Arenal is a great place to stay - in close proximity to La Fortuna Waterfalls/Arenal Volcano and Tenario Volcano/Celeste falls; great restaurants-Tenajas on Lake Arenal for sunsets; Casa Italia for homemade pasta; Moyas for vibe and pizza. Marita and Alberto are a lovely couple - Alberto from the US speaks English and Spanish/Marita spanish. Room is quaint and comfortable; their back deck is a slice of paradise with orchids and gardenias growing. That's where the traditional Costa Rican Gallo Pinto breakfast is served. They are both a wealth of information! Loved our stay!

Perfect spot to stay for a day or two

On the main road, but you would never know what you go to the back patio so many flowers, plants and birds. Marita and Albert are very nice and helpful. breakfast was great too!

A perfect tranquil stay with a stunning garden

Marita's place was perfect. She and Alberto are the perfect hosts and made me feel like family. They were welcoming, helpful and genuinely friendly. Their place is walking distance from the beautiful lake and the little town. It is also conveniently located next to a German bakery which has delicious pastries! The highlight is definitely their stunning garden which attracts vibrant coloured birds including hummingbirds and a baby toucan while I was there. It's a tranquil setting and having breakfast watching the birds is an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful stay.

I can definitely recommend this place!!

I stayed here the 2nd time, because Marita’s B&B is marvellous, Marita and Albert are very obliging and lovely host. They took care of me like parents. Breakfast is yummy. Their garden with all the colourful birds splendid. From here you can explore Arenal and Monteverde easily.

Albert, the host, was very welcoming. The view from the breakfast balcony was stunning, their garden was beautiful, with a lot of different kinds of birds. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good. I recommend highly.

Albert and Marita are welcoming and kind. The room, including bathroom, was clean,. modern and comfortable as was the bed. The patio area overlooked a beautiful Parklike setting. Breakfast was simple, fresh fruit plate, breakfast burrito, juice, pastry but fresh and tasty.

The access off the street and parking was a bit challenging but manageable.

We were served a homemade authentic breakfast promptly at the time we requested. Dining tables were on an outdoor semi enclosed patio surrounded by a beautiful garden. The property is located in area where you can easily find stores/restaurants but still quiet enough to enjoy your stay.

Breakfast view is very special

Very welcoming hosts, who made us feel at home. The room is functional with some nice touches and a homely feel. The breakfast was incredible with brilliant views of the garden, we saw many birds. Was a great stop for us on our first night from heading to Arenal from the airport. Hosts and breakfast really made our first night special.

AMAZING! you should go there

AMAZING! Marita and Alberto are lovely hosts. The house and the room were absolutely clean. The garden of the house is beautiful and very nice to take a breakfast (which was SO TASTEFUL) and take pictures of birds. The location is perfect as it is in the middle between Tenorio and Arenal (if you wish to do both) and everything is available by foot (supermarket, bank, restaurants, etc). Muchas Gracias Marita and Alberto.
