Cold and drafty living area with an opening on the bottom of the outside door allowing cold air in.
Property owner on site, very intrusive, not private or comfortable. Would not recommend it!

The location of this property is great! A beautiful neighborhood. Walking distance to so many great shops and Starbucks is right around the corner.

The Remington Retreat was great! The location is perfect--very close to campus and easy to get everywhere. Bill and Holly are gracious hosts and we were very happy with everything!

The property was very nice, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It was conveniently located to CSU. The owners were nice and welcoming, home was beautifully decorated and just as described. I would definitely stay here again. Owner/management were very responsive, check in was a breeze.

Bill and Holly were extremely communicative and helpful! Their house is just a few feet from the rental so when we needed a few things they provided them the same day. There's a hot tub (this is a novel item for us) and a fire pit (ditto). The house is just a couple of blocks from CSU campus and within a thirty minute walk to Old Town, so the location is ideal for us. There are delightful fairy lights in the back garden and a sliding door from the master bedroom to the garden. A perfect stopping point from which to visit kids at CSU! Thank you!

We absolutely loved everything except no indoor cooking amenities. Even a microwave would have been great. (Some sort of zoning rule per owner.). We had planned on doing some cooking during our trip to save on meal expenses but unfortunately that wasn’t possible inside the house. Since it was winter we opted not to cook outdoors :/. Besides this, the Remington retreat was beautiful and perfect! Bill was a wonderful host.

The Remington Retreat had everything I needed and nothing I didn't, plus just a few fun extras, which I really like in a property. Enjoyed the fire pit!

Close to everything we wanted to see and do in Fort Collins! Bill and his wife were the perfect hosts. Available when we needed them but also very respectful of our privacy. The home is very walkable to coffee shops and other basics. A couple minute drive to Old Town and a twenty minute drive to Horsetooth Resevoir and amazing hiking and biking trails! Pedego has bike rentals and is right down the street. The house is perfect too. Awesome design and everything we needed for our stay. Hot tub and fire pit was a big plus. Highly recommend this spot for your visit to FoCo!

We really enjoyed our stay! We were in Fort Collins for a work training and our team had a collaboration/planning day at the house and then went to an off-site training the last tow days. Stayed 3 nights and was really perfect for us. Enjoyed the hot-tub and the fire pit! Hosts were really great. Shared two dining suggestions that we tried out and were AMAZING! Wonderful stay!

This house was so cute and exactly as described. It was very easy to check in and was very clean upon arrival. The space was perfect for our needs - loved the hot tub and the fireplace! Beds were comfortable.
We were also centrally located so a 5-10 minute drive to anything we wanted to do plus a quick walk to Black Bottle Brewery which had great sandwiches and beer!

Remington Retreat
Visited with my daughter. Really enjoyed the little place. Very close to the college and just a few blocks from downtown. The small yard was really well set up and welcomed us back with a nice hot tub and beautiful fire pit area. Owners are on site and very close to the rental. Never once did I feel like they were too close. Bill will go above abs beyond to make sure all is well.

The Remington Retreat was a fabulous place to stay and within a couple miles of Old Town, just drive up Remington 1.7 mi and park! Having said that, there were many places within walking distance, like CSU, Perennial Gardens, Black Bottle Brewery and Bawarchi Biryanis Indian restaurant next door to the brewery.
There are so many restaurants but we also went to Rare Italian and Jax. Jax was great but I'd suggest maybe Bisetti's over Rare Italian.
Anyway, the Retreat is everything that as described and we even had a great night's sleep in the master king bed. Internet is great, TV, LR, bath, etc. Bill even provided some welcome treats and a Keurig for coffee to tide us over until we purchased a few things at the grocery store. Oh and something that I learned since I have several rental properties and two on VRBO. Bill provided body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower niche. Little things but very important if you forget to travel with them. I'm going to do the same thing for my rental properties.
The hot tub right next to the unit is divine, particularly with the cold mornings during our stay.
The only thing that to keep in mind is that there is no microwave or stove in the unit due to zoning. Instead, Bill has a Blackstone grill outside which is effectively a propane griddle for cooking. We never used it nor cared to as we were always out and about, but it's right there in front should you care to cook.
Bill's house is the next door on the property and you park in the alleyway behind the house. He's ever-eager to greet you and talk about things to do depending upon your length of stay and was also courteous to just leave you alone if that's what you prefer.
My husband Vince and I were there to celebrate my great niece and her husband's marriage. They've lived in Ft. Collins for 3 years now and so we ventured off with them every day. We live in VA so we flew into Denver. DEN is an hour's plus drive from Ft. Collins and you can either take the toll road and pay the daily tag fee or just bypass the toll road. Don't forget to see Horsetooth Reservoir at Ft. Collins and maybe drive to Estes or venture further into the Rockies...the views are stunning.

After visiting Ft. Collins and the Retreat from Wednesday through Saturday, we followed Kaylea and Josh on a scenic drive in the foothills of the Rockies to Boulder...probably an hour's drive. Boulder has an Old Town as well. We had a wonderful time walking around town, having lunch and departing there to Denver for an overnight stay at the Westin which is right at the airport. We stayed overnight at the Westin for an early out on Sunday back to Virginia.
What a wonderful time; a treasure visiting Old Town Ft. Collins, Old Town Boulder, seeing the Flat Irons and relaxing at the Westin before our trip home.
Thanks Bill for a great time!

We had so much fun at this retreat. That is exactly what it was too. The owners had thought of everything to make our stay so nice.
