The property was exactly as described. The lovely village of Hastingues was quaint & very pretty. The Château was more exquisite in person than the photographs. Excellent location for a romantic getaway!
That we only stayed one night!! We should’ve booked two nights!!

Ambiance of old castle, garden, swimmingpool, view
WiFi only in salon (not allowed to drink there), noisy, no mouskito protection for window, check in at 17.00, checkout at 10.00, expensive breakfast €15 for few bread and jam (no eggs, cheese, ham etc.), no restaurant nearby, hard to find entrance

Super hosts, good organized, very welcoming and vega-friendly.
A bit puzzled where the entrance was, but after a brief call that was resolved quickly.

Amazing location, period correct furnishings and an astonishing library. A truly amazing Chateau and top notch service from Eric and Remi, the hosts and owners

Beautiful chateau with welcoming hosts. We had an excellent time with our children playing in the pool. Many thanks for your excellent hospitality.

The building itself is a huge thing. In a lovely garden. And every inch is curated and furnished beautifully. The room was large and comfortable, bed excellent too. The details are all top spec. Good hot shower, and lovely breakfast. I’ll be back, for sure. Eric and Remy are super cool, also.
There’s really nothing to dislike.

Beautiful castle in the countryside, cute little village, walls with an history. Owners are super helpful and gentle. Breakfast was delicious.
Not much to do at night in the village (it's very small, only has one restaurant). I was the only guest in the castle that night so I felt a bit "isolated" going up 3 floors never meeting a soul or hearing a noise (still don't know if this was good or bad :-) )

breackfast was fabulous, everything home made and locally produced. We had it in the garden which was superb.

Beautiful setting with charming host.
Would have been helpful to know in advance (not clear on Booking.com) that it’s actually rented apartments in a chateau rather than a hotel per se. You need to bring food and toiletries. There’s a nice cafe just next door but otherwise need to drive.
