About this house rental
This lovely home has 120sqm of living space plus 3000sqm of surrounding gardens and bbq area. It can sleep up to 7 people (2 double bedrooms, 2 sofa beds and the possibility of a roll-away bed) and is a mere 30' drive from the birthplace of the Olympic games, Ancient Olympia and 6-7' drive from the beach.
Split over two floors with lovely balconies overlooking the surrounding gardens. Lots of open air space and bbq area makes this place ideal for couples, families or friends who want to share a home and enjoy the magnificent Greek south.
The home serves as an ideal base from which to discover the Peloponnese. The famous hot springs of Kaifas lake are a 10' drive. Zacharo beach, which is also a 6-7' drive, is part of a 80km stretch of beautiful sandy beaches that stretch across the west coast of the Peloponnese and overlook the Ioanian sea. The birthplace of the Olympic games, Ancient Olympia, is only a 30' drive away. Other ‘must-see’ historical sites are the Temple of Apollo Epicurious and Ancient Messini, both about a 1hr drive. To the south, the waterfalls of Nedas, a 45' drive away, offer spectacular scenery to those who want to combine adventure with nature. Further south, you can find the historical city of Pylos and the world famous beach of Voidokoilia.

Fully equipped private home, air condition, big balcony with bougainvilleas all over.
Nice house, two nice sandy beaches about 2km. away. There you find a café or restaurant where you can use deck chairs and umbrellas on the beach for free. Good starting point for excursions to archeological sites. Tip: Olympia is very crowded, much nicer with many more and better preserved artefacts to see is Messini to the South. Methoni is also worth a trip. We did not meet the owners in person since they were in Athens at the time, but they left us a very nice note with three bottles of wine and enough food in the fridge for breakfast and made us welcome by phone. The only drawback: It is a bit noisy because it is close to the main road.

Third time in a row!
Is my third time being here in the summer. I think that is more than words can say! And I already know that if I could I will be there again!

We have just finished a one week stay here and absolutely loved it. When we arrived, we were met by the owners parents. They took time to shown us around, explained how things work, and answered any questions. Speaking English is not an issue. They were very thoughful in that they supplied us with breakfast items for the following day. The wine was also a very nice touch. Arriving in late afternoon and not having to grocery shop until the next day, was a gift to us. During our stay, we always had quick access to the owner, if needed. We were actually contacted by the owner, Nikos, to both welcome us and to see if we were fine and also on leaving, he contacted us to make sure things went well. We found the accommodations very clean and comfortable to stay. The wi-fi was very fast and met any needs we required.
The nearby beach is apparently the longest beach on the Peloponnese. It was very pretty setting. It was located about 2km away. Accessable by car, or we preferred to walk via quite small roadways. The town of Zacharo was very close and had all we needed, to get supplies. We got fresh fish from a fishery store that was just awesome. English was not common, but for me, it adds to the flavour. Struggling through a foreign language and getting the result of your request, makes it that much sweeter.
All in all, I highly recommend staying here. You can see that the family/owners clearly love their place and want it taken care of, and in turn, they took care us. You will not be sorry.
Enjoy

A soul property!
I have to say that I'm not used to stay in the same place two holidays in a row, ever! BUT I COULDN'T RESIST! Beautiful places, excellent beaches, not crowded, exquisite if you want to find your peace. House warm and beautiful as I knew it and the welcoming warm and friendly.
I cannot say that I will be able to resist come here again.

Beautiful greek house in Pelopones
Beautiful greek house, nothing fancy, with all you need, excellent option for a family. A large terrace with a splendid view to the garden and sea. Perfect beaches nearby if you're looking for quiet and solitude standing. I'll be glad to spend some time again here.

Lovely and comfortable house
We - a family of four - had a very good time in this lovely house. We received a warm welcome by the very nice owners, who had even done some shopping for us and surprised us with home-made biological wine.
The house is very comfortable and has a beautiful garden, with flowers and fruit and olive trees. From the terrace you can see the Mediterranean. This coast offers miles of quiet and sandy beaches, and the beach of the nice village of Kakovatos is very nearby. You will also find some good tavernas there. We enjoyed doing our daily shopping in Zacharo. We saw few tourists there and in the area, which suited us just fine :) The archaeological sites of Olympia and Vassae are not far away, and we made some beautiful trips through the mountains.
Many thanks to Nikos and his parents for their hospitality. We hope to return some day!
