"Escape to 'The Perch', a well-appointed executive hillside home with breathtaking views of the ski hill and valley.

Open living, kitchen and dining areas will allow your group to make fantastic Fernie memories. The dining table seats 8 comfortably. The spacious kitchen is great for entertaining with a large island that seats three and a gourmet gas range.

Wake up to watch the sun rise on the Lizard range from the king-size bed in the primary bedroom or from the Queen bedroom on the second floor. Children (or child-like adults) can cozy into bunks in the third bedroom (one double and three singles).

There are two entertainment areas: Kick back and relax on a large sectional in the main living room, where you'll enjoy a gas fireplace and television, or head upstairs, where you'll find a recreation area with table tennis and a second TV with ample seating for friends.

Summer visitors will enjoy taking in the views while dining on the 600 square foot raised deck (BBQ available May to October).

Fibre optic internet provides lightning-fast connectivity for all your needs. There is a desk on the second-floor recreation area in case you'd like to check in and get a little work done (quickly) while you're away.

Our rates are structured with extra guest fees to cover the added costs of larger groups (laundering and consumables) and to make our home affordable for smaller groups. Please enter the correct number of guests when booking. Self-check-in is provided for your convenience and verified with an exterior security camera.

There is a secure, heated garage with space for your sporting equipment. Your reservation will include parking for two vehicles ONLY. Please plan accordingly. Please also be advised that there is additional accommodation on the property.

Stayed at this property for a week in late summer. Everything was as advertised. The deck was awesome. We used it every night for daily recaps and next day planning. There may have been adult beverages involved. The sky was crystal clear. We saw several shooting stars and numerous satellites. Close to town. Quiet. We would definitely recommend.

This property is lovely. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. The wonderful west facing deck was, so unfortunately, without any shade so unusable much of the day. An umbrella or shade sail would have helped enormously as the views are brilliant. We did look hard for the blender butone one.

This is a large modern house with three separate bedrooms and lots of beds for everyone. It's located very close to the mountain and has beautiful views. The hosts were very helpful and communicative. Any questions or concerns i had were dealt with quickly and helpfully. The place is large, modern and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again should we need accommodations in Fernie.

The view is lovely but there are a few opportunities for improvement. There were very few towels and the ones there were very thin and old. Guests are unable to adjust the thermostat so despite the weather being warm, we had to sleep in our hiking fleece. Many of the dishes were cracked and chipped. With some investment in household items, this would be a lovely place to stay.

We loved the gas fireplace and cozy setting. Fernie is a lovely place - "a small town with a big heart", as one local put it. Highly recommended both the town and the Perch.

Great house, lots of stairs for those sleeping unstairs. Very hard to get TV working as reciever wasn't working. Had to call for help. Great fridge, stove. Lots of pots and pans and tools for cooking. Good BBQ. Nice and quiet. Fireplace was very usefull.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful rental home. Awesome views and comfortable settings in every room. Well appointed kitchen made it easy to cook meals in, and the house is a short drive into town for restaurant dining as well. We really loved the house! We used every amenity including the ping pong table, upstairs rec room, puzzles, etc. Bonus was seeing two moose on the road near the property. The hosts were lovely and checked in with us throughout our stay. I couldn't recommend this home more :)

We were 2 families who stayed 2 nights at this beautiful home in Fernie. We were there for a ski weekend. There was no fresh snow but the skies were crystal clear so we could enjoy the spectacular view from the house. It was a quick drive to the ski resort and the house was close enough to downtown to make it easy to run out and pick up food/essentials from town. The loft area was great for the 4 boys to hang out and play. Boys are loud though, and the open floor plan and wood/tiled floors made them seem extra loud. The kitchen in the house is huge, the master bathroom is amazing with a fantastic shower. The kids bunk room was perfect for the 4 boys to stay together. We loved it and would stay again.

The property had plenty of room to spread out and relax after a day of skiing. For anyone who still had some energy, the ping pong table was a hit. The kitchen was well equipped. The ski hill is only a 5 minute drive away. And the view was spectacular!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We stayed for 4 nights with two families of four and the space was perfect for all of us. The loft area with the ping pong table was the perfect hang out spot for the teenage kids. Gorgeous kitchen to cook in and plenty of space for everyone. So close to town, easy to get to and truly such a beautiful home. Watching the sun set out on the deck with the mountain view was wonderful. :)

Beautiful house with easy access to downtown Fernie. Check in was easy, host was responsive, house was clean. We really enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was that check out is at 10am. They were upfront about it in the listing, but that’s really early! Other than that, everything was great.

The house is a great family holiday retreat-lovely modern design with cathedral ceilings and and amazing view of the ski hill, great kitchen with modern appliances and plenty of room to sleep up to 10 people. The ping pong table was a nice bonus. Close to ski hill but not ski in ski out. The hosts were helpful not intrusive and even refunded me fee for an extra guest who could not attend. Overall experience very positive and would rent this property again.
