If you plan your stay in the winter months it is just as beautiful and even more serene and life slows down in this neck of the wood...the cabin has a nice fireplace to hang out next to as you sit all warm and cozy with a cup of coffee or glass of wine . . . watch all the wild life as you do so. Plenty of bird watching can be had while sitting inside. If you take a stroll down the paths through the trees you most likely would spot a deer or two, a few squirrels maybe a red fox or two, here the coyotes and birds. Yes there are black bear in the area but unless you get off deeper into the woods you will not likey encounter any.
A Water Park near by, swimming pool and water slide just down the road. Plenty of near by activities and restaurants.

Very nice cabin. Tastefully decorated and furnished.

Enjoyed our stay at Dogwood Cabin immensely.
Everything about it was memorable.

This cabin was fantastic! I feel like the host put a lot of thought into what is important to a guest and it was the little things that made this stay even more enjoyable. The host was easy to communicate with and the cabin was perfect for our group. We come to this area 2 to 3 times a year to trout fish and this is by far the more enjoyable stay we have ever had in the Ozarks. The property is beautiful and quiet. Close to the river and very comfortable. We will be back

Property was very quiet even though ‘on the highway’.
Full of trees that blocked any noise.
We enjoyed the stay very much.

Very clean cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoyed cooking on the deck on the Blackstone griddle.... nice touch!

I like the location and the property although close to the road fairly quite. The only thing was a small bathroom. BTW the owner left eggs fresh and boiled, grapes, bananas and chocolate muffins with half a craft of orange juice. Was very nice.

This home was a perfect place for my husband and me and our dog. It was quiet and tucked away but close to Roaring River. It gave me a place to read and soak in the beauty of spring while letting my husband get in plenty of fishing. We enjoyed making meals in the kitchen and on the deck, and we were centrally located enough that we could wander around looking at things and end up in Branson for dinner.

After a few hiccups on the registration , probably of our own making, we were able to spend time at the house. There were two of us, …. my sister and me It was very clean and was equipped well. It was also very thoughtful of the owner to provide fruit, muffins, eggs and orange juice. How thoughtful is that!!! The stay was enjoyable. Kim Marie was exceptionally kind. Highly recommend this location. Bobbie and Jane. PS. We booked for three of us (all sisters in our 70’s). Unfortunately, the youngest sister’s husband had a stroke the night before leaving so she was not able to go with us ! Tragic as she would have loved to be with us.

Great property nestled in the woods. Loved the deck and grilling area. Kim was very responsive and left us homemade pastries and OJ. Can’t beat the location, 5 minutes from the river. Will definitely be back next year!

This was a great cabin with an open living room. We got a lot of use out of the wood burning fireplace. Location to Roaring River was ideal. We will return again in the future.

Our Second time staying with Kim. Both experiences have been phenomenal! The house is just as stated. Kim has updated the kitchen (looks really great) added a Blackstone griddle and more seating on the deck. Checked in with us to see if we needed anything more a couple of times and was quick to respond with any of our needs. Kim accomodates fur babies as well which is a giant plus for us. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to get away from the hussle and bussle of a heitic work schedule! Even though it is right off the highway it does not effect the peace and quiet! Thank you again Kim, we look forward to staying with you again next year!

This place is just up the hill and only 5 minutes from the best fly fishing area around! The house had everything we needed and the host went above what we expected with just some simple complementary touches. Fruit and breads with some dessert rolls were set out for us to enjoy. Excellent stay for the 4 adults!

Crystal Clear Roaring River
This property is exactly as described online. We traveled to the area for a family reunion. We had 4 adults, two children, and one dog. We had everything we needed with plenty of space. The cabin was clean & conveniently located near the gorgeous river! LOVED our stay here! The property owner is very kind & goes out of her way to make sure your stay is a good one.

While the house was closer to the road than I had thought before booking, it was so quiet inside. The wrap around porch was perfectly set up with enough chairs to seat a small army. The home was clean, and had everything we needed. There were grills to cook out and we were spaced far enough from others to not hear any noise other than nature and cars passing by. There was a fire pit, but it was too cool at night to use for just two of us. The owners live nearby and have 2 sweet female pups who would occasionally wander over to play with our pup or just hang out and chill while we were outside. All in all, it was a great stay and we will definitely book it again!

Such a retreatful stay in a secluded property well appointed and very comfortable. Close to the roaring River and a short drive to Eureka Springs, the location is amazing. Great communication and accommodating options with changes to sleeping areas to due our infant grandson’s needs. Loved the indoor wood stove for s’mores during early Springs chill.

stayed for 3 weeks
We were in the area for a month of work on a jobsite near Cassville. The property/house is nice and clean, the owner was a good host. Lack of wifi and the cost of each additional guest caused us to look elsewhere for cheaper/more work friendly options. The fireplace was very nice, beds were comfortable.

The pictures dont do this place justice. Much larger than I expected and great layout. The beds were comfortable and everything was nice. Our hostess greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour. Really made us feel welcome.

I have stayed at over a dozen properties now using VRBO and other similar products this is the first time I've ever had a REALLY BAD experience. My friends that came with own 3 rentals. We all agree this was ridiculous
Firstly, we never received any house rules, or check-in / out instructions as is commonplace. I had no idea what to expect.
I booked in March for July 4th weekend. She overbooked the rental which is supposed to be an instant booking.
She reaccommodated us to an unairconditioned yurt for July 4th (the entire reason we were on vacation)
When we arrived there was NO WATER, and we had to deal with 3 different service trucks ourselves; hours later we finally had water.
Kim Marie made us take our dog out of the car so she could verify there was only one dog. She said condescendingly "Are there TWO DOGS?, that looks like TWO crates"
Kim Marie never gave us a key or a code to the door lock, so I felt like anyone could come in and steal our belongings at any time.
Kim Marie advertises as pet friendly, but she wasn't very friendly toward her own pet. She left her outside in the rain on our porch all day and night. We let the poor dog in from the rain and kept her overnight. Kim Marie was rude about this. I honestly would have preferred if her dog wasn't around and think it's inappropriate to let your dog roam when you have guests staying, and is a liability risk. Her dog honestly just wouldn't leave us alone, staring through the glass door while it was raining with such sad eyes. When I brought the dog down to her house she was rude and condescending although I was very pleasant.
We didn't have good service in the location and Kim Marie basically wanted to know what we were doing all the time.
She wanted to charge us when some family from our reunion came over to play card games, but she dropped it.
I mean there were way too many times that she wanted to talk to me during the stay. I was on vacation to be AWAY from technology including my phone. She didn't like this.
The day before we were supposed to switch to the unairconditioned yurts I get another text with no clear instructions on where the yurts are or how to check-in to them.
Pros:
Location Near Roaring River
Great Bedrooms with comfortable mattresses
Cons:
Kim Marie - condescending, non-trusting, wants to charge too much and hover over your vacation
Dog that won't leave
No Lock
No Water on Arrival
Right up against the highway, not secluded
Kim lives super close

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The house nicely updated and clean, lots of room for everyone. She even thinks of personal touches like having cinnamon next to the coffee. We spent most of our time on the beautiful wrap around deck. One of the highlights was our daily visitor Grace, she is a sweet old girl and loves to hang out and sleep on the deck. I love how close this is to Roaring River park, Table Rock Lake and Eureka Springs, AR. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thank you Kim, for sharing your lovely cabin with us.
