The oceanview is outstanding and the beach right down the steps from the patio provided hours of exploring. This is also one of the best stocked VRBO kichens that we have ever rented. If our travels ever bring us back to Brookings we would definitely rent this home again.

Only problem was confusion on my part about number of people. The listing does states 6 people. So, this was entirely my fault.
I made the mistake of counting rooms (4),
and bed availability for (8 people), and the description states seats 9 in the kitchen. However apparently there is a county ordinance of some sort that limits guess to 6 on the premises
You can only have the number of people stated on The contract at the property,
Not only no “extra” people staying at the property but, absolutely no guests visiting property at all.
Long story short, I brought 7. The owner was very kind and understanding and gave us some time to make other arrangements for extra guest. There was limited availability so, we booked a room at the Harbor Inn, it was close by and had good reviews. Harbor Inn was terrible.

We haven’t stayed at the same vacation home twice because there’s so many places we want to visit, but this home has changed that! We are making plans to return because this truly idyllic setting checked every box - ocean, tidal pool exploration, mountainous terrain, hiking, kayaking, short drive to amazing Redwood forests, lazy days in hot tub/sauna. We were thoroughly pleased. We enjoyed homemade meals (with local seafood from the harbor) and the kitchen was lacking nothing to prepare gourmet cuisine, even burgers on the grill! The night sky was beautiful and the sound of the waves on the rocks lulled us to sleep. The high and low tides presented something new to explore daily with literally tens of thousands of anemones, sea stars, mussels, various tiny fish, and even finding the body of a giant Pacific octopus. Amazing creatures to explore with the tides! We were fortunate to stay during Independence Day and were treated to a fireworks display from the harbor easily viewed from the back deck. Steps down to the beach sound daunting but with the resting spots on the various landings including built in benches made the trek doable even for the most sedentary of our group. The property manager, Alice, was extremely responsive and we had no issues whatsoever. All 5 of the adults in our group were tickled with our stay and are planning the next trip back - we can’t give higher praise than that!

A beautiful property with gorgeous views just steps away from a quiet beach area teeming with tide pools, starfish and beautiful rocks. Everything was as expected, check in & out was easy. House was comfortable with everything we needed. We’d pick this one again for an Oregon coast get away! Just wonderful!

This property was everything we had hoped for and more! The location was perfect for having access to Redwood National Park, but also giving us time to enjoy the Pacific! Everything in the house was perfect - comfortable beds, every dish and cookware item you could want, and views from every room in the home. We played pool and watched movies in the evenings, after enjoying the water or woods all day. The stair access to the beach was perfect - and the beach was mostly secluded - especially during high tide. Listening to and watching the ocean was so peaceful - we left rejuvenated and so anxious to come back! You won’t regret this property if you select it!

We based here for our Redwood Forest adventures but this house is a vacation all of it's own. Beautiful views, a relaxing hot tub, well appointed rooms and all the extras needed for a confortable stay. The beach is stunning but the stairs (as expected) were not able to be used by the older folks in our group but they were content to listen and warch the waves from the deck and almost every room in the house. We would return here without a doubt!!

We were looking for a comfortable place with amazing views of the ocean. This place was perfect! Easy check-in, beautiful home with everything you need. Great access down to the beach off the back deck. Loved walking the beach during hi and low tide. Amazing Sun set! Kids enjoyed using the hot tub at night, what an experience. We enjoyed using the pool table and board games as a family. House is close to town for eating dinner or grabbing groceries. It’s about 50 minute drive to Redwood forest.

Top notch vacation rental, we had an awesome time. I really have no negatives to share. The house had the best stocked kitchen of any rental we’ve stayed at. Beds were very comfortable. Beach access is a cool bonus. Host was great, and communication was good. Overall I feel like the rental was an excellent value with what you get for the price

Second stay in this beautiful home and just as amazing as last time! We enjoyed the redwoods, drive along the coast, and good food in the area. Even in rainy weather, the home is cozy and warm. Alice the property manager met us there and walked us through. Wonderful. The beach and tide pools 80'+ below were all ours. My grandkids found dozens and dozens and dozens of eels and crabs and...every day for 9 days at low tide they were on the hunt. The house is perfectly stocked with all that we needed and very clean. The view from the kitchen cooking and cleaning cannot be beat. The beds comfortable, steam bath perfect after a day on the beach/water. The pool table was fun along with the games. I can't say enough about this home, it felt very comfortable. I've taken at least 2 vacations like this every year for 45+ years and only gone back to the same place twice, there are just too many other places to go. We all hope to come back to this specific home, it was that good as far as the five of us are concerned.

This place is incredible from the time we walked through the front door. You can see the ocean from every room - it is magnificent. It was my first trip to the west coast, and I was not disappointed. You can tell that the owners put a. lot of thought and care into their home. When I come back to the west coast - I will definitely be staying here again.

Everything was as described. Great views, location and layout. Kitchen is very well appointed. Hot tub is only big enough for two which seems odd for a 4 bedroom house. Jacuzzi tub upstairs was inoperative.

Wow, this house was everything we hoped for and more! From the breathtaking views to the amazingly well stocked kitchen to the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, nothing about this home disappointed. I would note that the hot tub, while fabulous, only has room for two. This was not an issue at all, just a side note for those looking to book. It was truly hard to leave this special place but I found so many treasures on the beach right below the house to bring home as keepsakes. We can’t wait to return!

Words cannot describe Pacific Edge - you must experience it! This property is extremely luxurious and cozy! Snuggle up and watch the ocean from your pick of rooms or go down and explore the private beach! This house has everything you need or could think of at your fingertips. The location is great - a hop, skip, and a jump to the harbor and restaurants - only miles from the California border on the edge of the redwood forest! Pacific Edge offers you everything you need to escape the hustle and bustle and just relax! It deserves 10 stars and we will definitely return! Alice is absolutely wonderful!

This house is perfect and was even better than advertised. Fantastic view off the deck with private beach access. Kitchen was probably better stocked than any home I've stayed in. Plenty of room for 5 of us. Also only 5 minutes from the CA border and about a 45 minute drive to the redwood forest. Highly recommended.

Yes, it’s as gorgeous as the photos suggest. The location is fantastic, and the home contains absolutely everything a vacationer could want. I’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, and none has been as beautiful, as well-kept and as well located as this one. Communication with the property manager is easy. I highly recommend this rental home, one of the nicest properties we've stayed in. Amazing ocean views and beach access, the house is well appointed, clean and stocked for an awesome family vacation on the southern Oregon coastline. It's the attention to details that makes the bedrooms, kitchen, outside desk and game-room so great, with a themed decor and perfectly maintained high-end gear throughout.
