More than my expectation, wonderfull place for family which I have ever seen. Food taste was awesome in kerala style. Pleasant place for Families and friendly tour.
I stayed for 3 days it was like being in heaven. I am not the relatives of resort owner or he didn't ask me to give star rating. This was my own family experiense. Trust me.
No words.

Nice dog!
The place is too remote - unless you go by boat there is nowhere to go (even for a short walk). Some of the rooms have no hot water - and some have lots of ants!

The location is simply amazing!!! The room is great.

Antony was a helpful and communicative host - responding quickly via booking.com, WhatsApp and phone call. He was flexible and accommodating, allowing us to move our booking to the next night with short notice and moving rooms upon arrival. Antony helpfully offered to direct our rickshaw driver via phone to ensure we got to the right place and organised a truly excellent backwater boat trip with a variety of options to cater to our preferences (Ayden Shikara boat service!). On-site staff are helpful and friendly. Lake paradise is easily accessed from Alleppey town (we loved the ferry - be prepared for a walk and a hop over the wall to get into the property!), the rooms are ACed and have beautiful views of the water. Beds very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Others have said they found it noisy, but we found the birds and the chanting from the nearby temple in the morning really lovely and a soothing start to a day on the water. Bonus - two very cute friendly sausage dogs on site!
Tried to pay on card but the machine/UK card weren’t compatible - I recommend taking cash! Beyond taking copies of passports and payment, there was no showing us around the property or sharing of information such as wifi details, return ferry times, breakfast times etc - and this information was not available in the rooms. We were also not given a contact name/number for a member of staff available onsite and there was no answer at reception meaning queries had to go through Antony directly via WhatsApp. Our initial room had ant issue but Rahul helpfully agreed to let us move rooms. Some insects are to be expected being so close to the water, but the door to our new room had a gap at the bottom which unfortunately allowed for a number of large insects and a small gecko to enter. The staff provided a temporary solution but this might be a longer term issue for the property to deal with. There were also a number of insects (dead and alive) inside the new room - including on bed linen and towels. Rooms in general are a bit worn with marks and scuffs on the walls and blinds and could be cleaner. We came for the area and the boat trip - both were brilliant and worth visiting, but we probably would stay somewhere else - especially for the price.

The location on the water and the lake view from the room was nice and peaceful, especially compared to the rest of Allepey. The town is easily accessible by pubic ferry and the hotel boat will transfer you when you arrive and depart. The room was basic but comfortable enough. The reception manager was helpful and friendly. He booked us on a really interesting boat tour, although it was a bit expensive.
The room and whole property was a bit rundown and not the cleanest. There wasn’t much of a garden, just gravel surrounding the rooms. The food was very average. I would not call it a “boutique resort”, With that name and the price I expected a bit more.
4.1
The main town is nice and worth visiting and the pet dogs are cute.
Utterly horrible. Trapped in a filthy hotel with terrible food and the only way off it to rent their kayaks (which are extortionately priced).
But the worst has to be the rude, aggressive hotel manager. Oh..and the deafening call to prayer music that plays from around 5am everyday. Don't expect much sleep.
There were also dirty dishes left around the place and the room did not even have a key to lock the door! When asked the rude manager just bolted a 3ft high gate closed leading up to our room?!
The offer of a swimming pool is a lie- it's steps into the polluted dirty backwaters.
Avoid.

The staff and the Manager were very polite and were very helpful. The Manager made sure that every travel arrangement was possible and successful. The food was very good. The location was also very good. This is the location for getting best view of Alleppey Backwaters!!!!

We liked the location and the very direct access to the backwaters.
4.1
This place is all about location and the camping feel. We received great hospitality from the staff.
If you’re looking for family style luxury, this place is not for you. The food is a bit pricey (although they make it fresh whenever you want).
4.1
Best part of this resort is its location and the view it offers. All rooms are facing the backwaters and one can cherish the beautiful view of boats moving.
Staff was very courteous, special thanks the the Manager, Mr Rajesh.
Mr. Binson Anthony who was virtually in touch with me during booking is very rude. He doesn't seem to have any experience in hospitality industry and simply riding on the tourist demand.
Food quaility and spread can be improved, not at all up to the mark.
Boat pick up and drop should be until late night and not only until 9pm.

Location is the only thing we liked.
Too expensive for the room and facilities provided. No tea coffee make in room, breakfast had just 2 items, dinner was OK.
Small rooms, no place to keep clothes after unpacking.

beautiful location. lovely room with an amazing view. staff very friendly and helpful
breakfast was a bit chaotic
4.1
Staff is great. Service was available every moment and treated us with respect and friendliness. Massage was also great
Maybe offer more mosquito repelents

My experience on being here is really great since I loved the location & hospitality. The breakfast was great (you’ll get Puttu, Kadala Curry, Bread, Omelette) but the dinner is not no luring. I ordered veg korma & chicken 65 (not authentic south indian), bland taste.
Couple of things to do here : Spa, Kayaking, Boat Ride.
Again, hospitality from Mr. Rajesh is Mindblowing !
Please be prepared for mosquitoes.
Food
4.1
property was good , but rooms were not cleaned properly
the restaurant is a joke, they serve food after almost 1.5 hours of waiting ,there are no other food places near by so we had to wait hours for our food
4.1
it was lovely to have a room right by the backwaters and watch the boats go by. the restaurant staff were lovely - Alfa especially made our time so comfortable. we also really enjoyed a boat ride around the islands.
there was a miscommunication with the pricing of the room and activities. the staff were friendly in sorting it but it did cause some stress. the food was also a bit expensive.

Location of the hotel is very good and room is well maintained in decent state.
Worst hotel I have stayed till date in terms so service and the cheating started from day one. I saw the rooms on booking.com and there were 2 categories of room, family room, and deluxe room. The images shared on the website showed ac in the room for both categories of room. The family room in its description said its an AC room, deluxe room in its description didn't say anything about being AC or non-AC but shared the image of a room with AC. So to clear the confusion, I called the owner and he said all the rooms in our hotel exactly are the same so he suggested going ahead and do the booking. So I went ahead and booked 1 family room and 2 deluxe rooms (because only 1 family room was listed).
Just one day before our check-in, the hotel owner called us and said one of our rooms is ac and 2 non-ac and said we should cancel the booking on booking.com, because why should we pay to a foreign company and he will provide all the 3 rooms in the same rate to us(same rate we booked on booking.com) if we pay him directly. We chose not to do that and he charged us Rs 2400 extra (Rs 1200 per room extra) for using AC.
The service provided was the worst I have ever encountered. Lunch provided to us was cold items. Even when asking to be heated the food wasn't heated. Then in the evening when we ordered the tea, coffee, and French fries, what came to us was all cold. When we complained to the waiter, he said sorry it won't happen and asked us not to complain to the owner. Dinner thankfully was fine. Breakfast was a free buffet included in the package. Within 5 minutes of the buffet starting, the butter was over and the waiter continued making excuses that the butter is coming for the next 1.5 hrs. Later he himself confessed he can only provide the things that the owner provides to him and can't do much about it. We were provided burnt bread for breakfast.

Quiet, small place with very nice staff that made us feel at home.
Nothing.

what’s not to love! this is a great location. views are great from the rooms. right on the backwater a 15 minute ferry ride from Aleppey. there’s an hour sunset cruise for free every night which we did once and you can hire a range of canoe 🛶 and other tours. we did a guided canoe tour with one of the staff around the waters and it was great!
it’s so peaceful and scenic and def worth 2 nights to see the backwaters.
the manager was great and super helpful. even sent a boat to get us from the jetty on arrival as we were lost! they have 2 dogs too which like ladies and like to sit outside your room. top marks to this place!
nothing. only thing I’d say is a kettle in the room would be good. that said they’ll bring you tea and coffee if you ask. also if you arrive with a child beware you need to walk down a wall by the river from the jetty with bags which isn’t ideal so I suggest asking them to grab you from a jetty by boat. much safer! it all adds to the charm though!

it’s on a very quiet part of the backwaters which
is very beautiful and Shah the manager was amazing and so helpful. The complementary boat trip is really lovely also.
The rooms are quite basic
4.1
Placed among the most calm and beautiful landscape, with the best lake view and the walkable backyard.. and the boat rides are totally enjoyable.
Anthony was greatly helpful (got a boat at night in odd hours) and Shijo was well accommodating. Anthony’s cafe is also a must visit.

The location is a magic
nothing

Location and kayaking tour were great. The dogs were very cute and staff was friendly. Food was delicious but overpriced.
Dirty sheets, low water and cold water in the shower. AC did fall out sometimes. Food takes a long time and dinner only possible from 20h30. Noisy at night. Way overpriced.

Excellent location, lovely to stay by the backwater and see greenery and boats all around. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Anthony was rude and pushy at times. One example, when we checked with him if we could be dropped off at a slightly more convenient location for us, instead of just saying it wasn't possible for him, he responded saying our idea was stupid. Not the best customer service :)
My bedsheet had stains on it, which was also annoying. The bedroom was otherwise okay. Pretty basic, but still comfortable.

Food is ok but not worth for money

the location is absolutely incredible! to wake up and see the water is wonderful. The staff are so friendly and the food was great! Its a very peaceful place but there was plenty to do if you wanted too. The canoe trip with Anil was a real highlight! Antony is a great host and arranged everything for me.
