About this house rental
*Fall Special* When you stay in the Hiking Trails Home, you will be near great hiking trails and have unobstructed views of Mystic Mountain (aka Elephant Rock), Cathedral Rock and of course the iconic Sedona red rock ridges. After your hiking adventures, you can relax in the hot tub or indulge in your home-cooked meals from the gourmet kitchen. *Ask about a 5 or more night discount*
As you walk into the gated courtyard, you are greeted by a bubbling water feature. Enter through the custom wood door and find pine ceilings, grand skylights, and copper details in an open floor plan. The panoramic outdoor patio has lots of seating including the hot tub, covered area with BBQ grill, and built-in countertop and sink for grilling.
This 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home sleeps 8 adults (beds for 8 adults - plus 2 children if you have a pack n play, etc.). There are Smart TVs in the living room, the primary bedroom, and the additional queen bedroom (local channels and streaming apps). The “kids room” with two twin beds also has a small TV with a DVD player. The bathrooms are unique with windows or skylights in each of them. There is only one bathtub, located in the primary bedroom en-suite. There are two showers, one located in the primary bedroom en-suite, and the other in the second hallway bathroom.
On chilly clear nights, hang out outdoors where there are multiple seating areas and stay warm by the outdoor fire pit or under the heat lamp by the BBQ. There's also a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. Central AC in the home will make your stay in Arizona more comfortable. An extensive cookbook selection, a variety of spices and cooking oils, and top-end appliance accessories such as Keurig coffee maker, instapot, slow cooker, Ninja blender, and Cuisinart waffle maker are available in the kitchen. K-cups in a variety of roasts are provided free for guests. There are also extra fold-out chairs for the dinner table or outside use. The washer and dryer are also available for guest use with detergent pods and softener sheets provided. The living room has a 55” Smart TV with Roku and we provide Netflix, Hulu Live TV (50 of the most popular channels), and HBO Go streaming services for the guests. Throughout the house, you'll find a variety of traditional Southwest architectural and building elements and regional art that you just won't see elsewhere.
There are great amenities for guests with children: a high chair & booster seat (stored in the garage), lots of puzzles, and over a dozen board games, and of course high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house. A maximum of 4 cars can park in the home (2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway). HWY 179 has wonderful dedicated bike lanes in both directions. There are also close to 50 books of various genres for kids and adults alike to enjoy, in case you left your current favorite at home.

Amazing place and amazing house. Very accommodating to a large group. Would definitely book again. One recommendation though, the 85 degree temp upon arrival was very hot. Did not cool down until after 3 am. Suggest in summer dropping it to at least 78

Amazing beyond words! The house couldn’t have been more perfect for a girls trip! Gorgeous views, comfortable beds, and beautifully appointed! 5 Stars!

This house is lovely and in an amazing location. While you are not in the middle of nowhere it feels as though you are. That picture of the mountain you can see from the hot tub pic? So much closer and bigger in person. We had a wonderful time!

Perfect location - even better than pictures; extremely clean and well appointed, didn't have the bikes as described but was not big deal, felt like we were staying in luxury, would stay here again in heartbeat

We had a work related briefing in Tucson, we drove up after it was over to relax. Pictures of the property were very accurate. We had a really nice weekend sitting by the outdoor fireplace and of course the hot tub.

Absolutely stunning view. Very nice floor plan and amenities. The listing says there are 4 bikes and helmets but we did not find any so if you are planning to bike you may want to bring some or be prepared to rent some.
Overall a very good time was had by all. We will be back.

Overall a fantastic property! Nice touches and a lot of care went into the decorations. There were a few minor issues but nothing that detracted from the overall experience. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was exceptionally clean and well maintained, the patio and outdoor cooking area is where we spent most of the time as well as the jacuzzi. Would definitely stay here again with my family. The house manager was super nice and accommodating

I rented this property to spend the weekend for my wife's 40th. There were 8 of us. The house was very spacious and provided everyone their own space. The views and experience was phenomenal. The pictures on the site don't do it justice to the size of the home and all it has to offer. The in/out process was easy. Best weekend we have had in a long time. Thanks for sharing your home!!

Even better in person than in the photos!
We had a wonderful stay - easy to spend time as a group, or find solitude, depending on your mood. In particular, the deck was a gem - with gorgeous views and both sunny and shaded options.
The only issue we had was that the dishwasher doesn't work well. The rest was great -- I'd definitely stay again if visiting Sedona with a group.

The property was absolutely gorgeous for our girl's weekend. Everything was better than expected. I do need to make a comment about the hot tub, though. The service person did not come on the day expected as he was sick. The water was a bit cloudy, but I would still rate this property with solid 5 stars. Everything else was immaculate and we lacked nothing.

Friend reunion
Our group of four had a wonderful time in Sedona and the surrounding area, and this property provided the ideal home base for us. The house is as beautiful as in the photos, and so comfortable. We enjoyed looking at bright stars from the hot tub at the end of days of hiking, sat comfortably in the living room sharing photos and enjoying morning coffee, and completed a large puzzle and played games on the large dining room table. The kitchen was stocked as advertised with good quality, and plentiful, pots and pans, good knives, plus paper towels, toilet paper and pantry basics. It was so nice not to have to shop for every last item we needed to cook a few dinners. We were in touch a couple of times with the property manager with questions about trash pick-up and checking out. Mary replied in a very prompt and friendly way, and encouraged us to contact her with any other questions. One thing to note, there are 3 or 4 places where the level changes by 3 steps- could be somewhat difficult for anyone with mobility challenges. It's not quite all on one level. We would definitely highly recommend this spacious home with a beautiful view to groups of friends or families and would stay again if we return to Sedona!
