Friendly house with off street parking and a sweet tree-lined street.
Owner was responsive to questions prior to move-in. I was a long-stay (7 weeks) due to renovating my local condo.
Neighborhood is quiet despite being super close to the freeway (I-5)- and 20 minutes to downtown seattle, shopping, post office, groceries, movie theater, etc.
In the spring and summer back yard and covered patio are lovely- and it remains cool even in unseasonably warm weather.
Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking for one or a family. Appliances- including large washer and dryer were in great condition and worked well.
Owner was responsive with my request for curtains for the diningroom/kitchen as it felt a bit like a fish bowl, and with warmer weather coming, it would help with mid-morning sun.
House stayed cool and comfortable until our heat wave in early July.. My only wish is that more windows opened in the common spaces (kitchen, dining room and living room). The only windows that were able to open during my stay were the side bedroom windows.
Photos are accurate to space. Overall, a great place for couples traveling together, or a family! I would stay again, or have friends stay if visiting.

A great home away from home for an extended stay
The house is homey and comfortable, very clean and has ample amenities. It's located in a family-oriented neighborhood where we felt safe. Just a few blocks away or a short drive are a grocery store, movie theater, and coffee shop. An unexpected bonus was the rotating schedule of food trucks located in front of the nearby Ridgecrest pub -- one is there every evening and even Sunday morning for brunch. UW Medical Center, the focus of our stay, is 8 miles away and easily accessed via surface streets or the nearby Interstate.
Twice we needed to extend our stay and our host, Angela, was very accommodating and promptly facilitated these adjustments -- such a relief for us! Angela was very responsive whenever we had any questions or concerns. We would happily return to this comfy Shoreline house for any future visits to Seattle.

Wonderful location for long-term furnished rental
Our family stayed in Angela's home during an extensive home remodel that had a ever-changing end date. Angela was very accommodating of our situation and extremely flexible in allowing us to extend our stay several times until our remodel was complete. Angela's home was a great size for our family with two bedrooms on the main level, one in the basement, and ample space to feel comfortable throughout. Her home is well maintained and was very clean when we moved in. The kitchen is a bit small, but well organized and had everything we needed for our several month stay. For those working from home, the internet speed was fast enough to host several zoom calls and streaming video at the same time. Angela was a great communicator and always responded in a timely manner to our questions or requests. The home is close to some neighborhood gems (within walking distance to the Ridgecrest pub, Northcrest park, and the library). We'd recommend Angela's home to anyone looking for an extended stay in the Ridgecrest neighborhood!
