We brought 10 of our senior high students from our youth group to the property for a wilderness retreat. The property is set up great for a larger group or family. There were beds for everyone vs some properties where half your group ends up on couches. The listing was accurate about what all the property included, and it was all in very good shape. We enjoyed hiking a few of the trails on the property, and the basketball court and game room were well used by our crew. The listing is correct in the “no cell service” aspect, which worked out great for us wanting to just disconnect and relax. The owner was also very nice and helpful! Overall we loved the property and will likely book it again in the future!

This house had lots of great space both inside and outside. There were plenty of places for our entire group to sleep, eat, play, etc. The view from the living room area was great throughout the day as well. The owner was nice and very helpful. The only thing that I was not thrilled with was the road/driveway to get there, it was kind of rough. Plus, I didn't realize we were about 20 minutes from the Buffalo River, but that was poor planning on my part. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

Was absolutely perfect for our group of friends and the kiddos!

Myself and a group of 14 others stayed here for the 4th of July weekend and had an absolute blast! This is a very secluded retreat lodge that is extremely well equipped. Our biggest problem was that we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy all of the amenities! Will be looking for another reason to visit the area just so we can come back!

This was such a perfect spot to lodge in the mountains with everything you’d want and need right there on the property!! So many amazing activities and things to explore. Plenty of space for our 3 families to spread out comfortably.

We had a great thanksgiving weekend. Plenty of room for all 7 adults and 7 kids. The weather wasn’t great but the spacious house and game room provided ample space to enjoy. Lots of dining space with 3 tables for family dinners and plenty of room for lots of board games. The kids loved playing and sleeping in the loft area. Plenty of coach space for watching movies and football. We did find time to wander around the property and the cliff dwelling with the waterfall was definitely a favorite. The appliances and decor of the cabin is dated but still functional. The driveway to the house is a bit rough but still traversable for a regular vehicle.

Stayed at this location with 9 other friends in mid-October. The host is absolutely fantastic. Checked us in, gave us a walk-around, and answered any questions we had. The kitchen is great and fully stocked with pots/pans, utensils, etc. There are 3 bedrooms total (not including a mother-in-law suite attached to the gameroom/shop building. Everything was clean, all of the outdoor sports equipment was good-to-go, and the firepit is fantastic.
They have satellite tv, but if you plan on watching something via a streaming platform you should download it ahead of time. Preparation is the key to having a great time at this place. Make sure you get any groceries, drinks, etc. before you come into the area bc groceries stores are few and far between (Harrison and Jasper are your closest options (40min one-way).
Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic time and would recommend it to anyone looking to get away for a few days.

The large gathering spaces were wonderful. Living area had 3 sectionals and kitchen/ dining had 3 tables. We had an extra guest who was able to use the separate apartment and have his privacy from our loud crew when needed. The yard was perfect for all ages. Would definitely recommend!

The property is so nice and relaxing for all age groups. The views of the forest in fog is just like being in heaven. The benches around the house are perfect for early morning coffee and tea even in rain! Kids loved the game room and courts. The trails around the property were also very good.

pictures do this property no justice!
We just stayed at the Pine Lodge Cabin (September 2019) and i can tell you the pictures do not do this Cabin justice. We went without any children but we are already planning a trip back with our kiddos. The place is so well laid out and they have really thought of everything. its completely secluded with the most beautiful surrounding landscapes. there is a main cabin with all the community space on the main floor in a wrap around floor plan that has huge windows in every direction.in the center of the wrap around floor plan is a bathroom and stairs up to an open loft area. Down stairs are 3 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a library, and a laundry room. complete wrap around porch with plenty of benches, tables, and swings to accommodate any number of guests. A fire pit area and a seating area surrounding a chimnea directly off opposite sides of the porches. then the second building has a separate apartment style room with its own bathroom and hotel style kitchen and a huge game room attached with exercise equipment, pool table, ping pong table, and shelves FULL of outdoor sports equipment. Next to the game room is an outdoor game area with basketball, croquet, Frisbee golf, tether ball, a meditation type area, portable bleachers to watch and a beautiful double wooden couples swing. they have paper products, coffee, creamer, games, hiking vests, wifi, just everything you can think of. I'm already wanting to book a trip in the winter as the views with snow would be absolutely spectacular. i cannot say enough about this place. i just wish there would have been more reviews when i was choosing a cabin because if i knew all this beforehand i wouldn't have had any trouble choosing this cabin over all the others we were looking through. this will be our GoTo cabin from now on.

Amazing place
We had a great stay our three grown kids and a 6 yr old grandson. We planned on spending time at the river and hike the trails, but there was so much to do right on the property that we spent a few hrs at the river, and the rest of the time playing volleyball, croquette, disc golf,
We had a great weekend thanks

Remote & Cozy
The owners of this property put their hearts into their cabins. Ours comfortably accommodated 15 people and each room was themed. There were plenty of linens (which is a lot for 15 people). The owner is a friendly and extremely helpful man who gave us a tour of the property and all of the amenities upon arrival. The property itself is beautiful, with views and trails. I would love to stay here (or any of the other cabins on the property).

Family Easter weekend
We all enjoyed our stay, plenty of room for 11 of us! The host took time to show us around and had suggested some hiking on the property. One with a look out point and one with a cave and small waterfall.
We would recommend it for a place to stay
