My Mom and I stayed for an unexpected 9 day trip. Since booking late, we were concerned about leaving home before getting a confirmation (VRBO site states that the owners have 24 hours to confirm). I mentioned this concern to the owners in my reservation email and Amanda got back to us within the hour. Every communication with her was answered immediately and she was always more than friendly and very helpful. The home is lovely and feels very secure (nice security gate to enter property, but since the neighborhood is so nice, that is just an added benefit). I read one review that mentioned the garage below being noisy when the owners would leave, and we did NOT find that to be the case. I only heard the garage open twice and even then it was barely heard. I also read that someone smelled manure from the horses. We did not have that issue either. There was a slight smell of hay, but definitely not manure. The only thing to be aware of is that the carport area where you park is not water tight if it rains. It is nice to keep the sun off your vehicle, but we made the mistake of putting stuff there the day before leaving to not have so much to take down in the morning and it got wet from the rain. Definitely not the owners fault as they never said it was water tight, just something to now before you do what we did. Overall, this was an excellent home away from home. Mom actually mentioned that she would feel more than comfortable staying here by herself if she travels alone and we both would stay here again anytime in the area.

We stayed for 7 nights in Kyle and Amanda’s apartment over their detached garage. First impressions were that the apartment was very clean and well appointed. It was spacious and had plenty of beds for my family of 7. The property is a cute farm-like residence with some chickens and horses so if the smell of maneur bothers you, this might not be the place for you. Since it was Thanksgiving, we did some pie baking and amanda was kind enough to loan us her rolling pin and a mixer for whipped cream.
The only negatives at the property were: the beds are not super comfortable and that the garage is noisy. When the owners come and go from their garage, doors opening and closing, talking, and the car engines are quite clearly heard inside the apartment whether it’s 6:00 am or 10:30 pm.
Overall it was a nice place to stay.

Kyle and Amanda's guest house was the perfect location for all I had planned in Provo. It's really close to both BYU's campus and Provo Canyon. The guest house is clean, light-filled, and really comfortable. I will definitely be staying with them again!

I am not one to usually write reviews but I had to share how great my experience was. This was my first time using a vacation rental. Everything went exactly as planned/promised. Kyle and Amanda were very accommodating and the Casita was very clean and fully functional. I was moving my daughter into her college apartment plus it was her 18th birthday. So needles to say there was a lot of running around. As well as a little get together the last night of our stay. They did not seem bothered one bit by the in and out at all hours of the day. The Casita was located very conveniently to all the shops I needed and close to the University. One evening, my kids made it back before me, with just a simple text, they quickly opened the Casita for my children. One plus to having the homeowner on site. We felt very safe and at ease during our stay. And hope others will enjoy it as much as we did.
Thank you Kyle and Amanda!

We had fun here and it was close to everything we wanted to do in the Provo/Orem area. Everything was very clean. It was a great price for the location. We would like to call to attention something, that is very clear in the ad, but we did not prepare for... There is a nice TV, but no cable or satellite service. You can bring a computer and hook up some netflix or something since the internet works well...
I would recommend three things that would make this place perfect: 1) a chest of drawers in each room, 2) cable/satellite TV, 3) more silverware (there were only 4 complete sets, so needless to say we had to do a lot of dishes).

Recently had the opportunity to be in the Provo/Orem area, and stayed in this great garage apartment. Every room was spacious, and we loved the open floorplan. Having a complete laundry was a bonus. The owner and manager were responsive to our needs, and YES, we would return!

The casita is comfortable, thoughtful and private. The property owner is very near by and Amanda and Kyle are very friendly and welcoming. Our children and whole family were treated like old friends and made to feel very much at home. We only wished we had more time as we clearly did not stay long enough. What an unique place to stay and with superb access to all sights and details all ensuring great comfort. I hope we can come back soon!! Thank you, Thank you!!!

We used this rental as a family home base for a wedding in Provo and a reception in Idaho. Although we didn't use it because we were traveling too much, the kitchen was most impressive and included a large fridge and desired dishes and appliances.
Beds were comfortable. Location was private and relaxing. A second bathroom might have been nice since there were five of us, but the area outside the bathroom (laundry room) has a sink and mirror for getting ready, so that helped. We couldn't find the towels at first, but they were in a drawer in the bathroom.
It was also convenient to have the key in a lock box as we arrived so we didn't have to look for someone to get the key. Maybe that is standard procedure, but this was our first VRBO experience. We'll surely try this again. It was much cheaper and nicer than the two hotel rooms we would have rented for the event.
We didn't talk to anyone during our stay because all was in order, but Amanda emailed us back quickly when I had questions before our arrival.
