Great facilities nice staff good location! Stayed for one night on our nc500 trip, very good

The views and location were superb. Room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom looked like it was newly renovated very modern a good size and spotless.
Lochview was up for sale when we stayed so there was some problems. There was no breakfast available and we were supposed to have been advised of this but weren’t. We did get a refund though which was good and unexpected. David the host was obviously doing his best to run the place and was very accommodating. The entrance is a coded key pad into a reception. The door has a dodgy lock fitting and care needs to be taken as it’s easy to catch your hand on it. David makes you aware of it. Shame really the views are spectacular from the conservatory where breakfast would have been.

Beautiful views!
Breakfast was uncomfortably quiet. Would have been nice to have some soft background music.

Location and view of the loch! Parking.
I
VERY small room.

Nice location with view on the loch, and with private parking. Ullapool centre is then accessible by foot.
Showers with an electric system having a very low water pressure.

Ample parking, room was adequate, good internet.

The bed and room was lovely.
Continental breakfast was £6.99 then charged extra per item of additional food. The fruit salad was frozen solid and the black pudding had a paper ring around - clearly heated in a microwave as the plate was piping hot.

Great location. Friendly and warm greeting from David. Clean and welcoming.
Just a few minor issues regarding dated fixtures (which are being upgraded) and the sound proofing between rooms could be better.

Beautiful hotel with amazing sea view. Very sweet and hospitable staff!

I didn’t stay for breakfast as I wanted to dash into Tesco before going for the ferry. But I slept later than I expected and I haven’t done that for a long time.

The room was cosy, the bed very comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful, gave us information on sight seeing. Beautiful view and garden at the back of the house (this was accessible for all guests.) We were given a folder to explain all other information on our stay.
The toilet was difficult to flush each time.
It would be helpful if the breakfast was included as part of the package when booking.

We had a very friendly reception when arriving.
Our host was very helpful to find places to visit and see.

Thank you, Lochview Guest House, for your prompt action to arrange for our stay at the neighboring B&B! That worked out really well and salvaged our stay in Ullapool. It would have been disastrous if we had been forced to find other lodging on short notice, since there would probably not have been anything available because the neighboring B&B took us in more as a favor to the owner of Lochview Guest House, since their sign indicated that they had no vacancies. Luckily, the owner of Lochview Guest House spared us that trouble.
Booking.com double-booked us and another guest at Lochview Guest House, which does not speak well of their service. Fortunately, the owner acted promptly to arrange for our stay at a neighboring B&B. Thanks to the owner's prompt action, the arranging of a stay at the neighboring B&B was seamless and no inconvenience at all, and the neighboring B&B was really clean and comfortable. Booking.com should refund the owner of Lochview Guest House whatever fees it charged her for our booking and for processing our payment through their system, which she then had to pay to the owners of the neighboring B&B where we ultimately stayed, since this was Booking.com's mistake, not hers.

The walk from the Loch View Guest house into town.
The room was very small, small bathroom, limited space and very over priced for what we received felt ripped off. Greeted by a grumpy man on arrival who insisted on saying his spiel and not wanting to listen to the needs of his customers. Overpriced breakfast and not well cooked. Owner disappeared for two days and basically advised that there would not be any breakfast facilities available. Very expensive and not value for money.

On site parking and on the ground floor.
We arrived at 10pm due to a flat tyre, We rang at 8pm to explain and the owner was grumpy and unaccommodating. Place seemed grimey so we opted out of breakfast! Front door lock code didn't work 3 times. One of the worst places we stayed.

Clean and comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast in a nice conservatory. Location was good , a couple of minutes drive or a 10 minute walk into town. Host was friendly and welcoming
No issues

close to the center, was able to walk around and great view of the sea/ocean if you go around the back of the house/garden
shower wasn’t very powerful, which seems the norm for the electric showers.

Linda, the hostess, was amazing! I was having some difficulties with my hip and she took the time to give me a massage. Totally unexpected but very much appreciated. The view of the loch from our window was amazing...and the room was like a cozy little apartment. Treats,
nothing. it was perfect.

Location of the property is quiet and convenient.
The room is cozy with a homey ambience.
Linda and David were helpful and friendly.
Price was definitely at the higher side considering most of the amenities (ie. lounge, cafe) is closed most of the time. Breakfast is not included despite with the premium room charge (this was stated during booking).

The location was okay, with a 15 minute walk into Ullapool. Ullapool itself was rather uninviting, perhaps due to roadworks on the main road, very overpriced e.g £19.99 for fish and chips.
The hotel was very clean and the duvet was particularly soft and comfortable. There was lots of choices of teas and coffees in the room and welcome treats.
The room was awful. We were expecting and looking forward to the most expensive room with the ‘deluxe double room’ title, so we were expecting the loch view as we had paid the highest tariff.
The room was tiny, there was no view of the loch and the shower room was out dated and small.
The owner told us that paying the highest tariff does not get you the best room and we hadn’t requested a loch vow, we thought that went without saying but maybe there as a miscommunication between booking.com and the owners. She kindly offered us a free breakfast but that didn’t make up for our disappointment so we declined.

The location around was worth walking around. Room facilities were very OK.
Not much room around the bed.

The hosts were wonderful. We had an amazing view of the loch. The room was exceptionally clean and the hosts have thought of everything, I adored all the little touches. Super comfortable bed and sofa. Well worth every penny spent. I highly recommend 👌
