It is a beautiful property that is perfect for families. The kids had so much fun just playing on the deck and the trampoline and exploring the beach. It is not that far to do a day trip to some of the provincial and national parks in the area, but it is secluded enough to feel like you it’s your own personal space. Having people living in the other cottage did not interfere with our enjoyment at all. They were quiet and left the majority of the space to us.

We, a family of three generations, highly recommend this property. It was unique, providing multiple opportunities to enjoy the location, both to kick back and relax, as well as participate in water events. Location was great for exploring the peninsula, hiking a number of trails, visiting waterfalls, and cruising in a glass bottom boat at Tobermory.

We enjoyed our stay at the loft! Graham and Karina are incredible hosts. The easy access to Georgian Bay was a definite highlight. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week at this truly unique property. This was the perfect place for our family as it gave my son his own space, the Bunky, which has a queen bed. Great views from just about every room. We all had so much fun on the porch swing. My son had a lot of fun on the trampoline. We enjoyed going out in the kayak, paddle board and the paddle boat. The beach is great for skipping rocks, rocky beach not sandy. Centrally located to all the great things the Bruce Peninsula has to offer. The hosts are right next door, but we always felt like we had our own private place. This will definitely be on the top of our list of places to stay when we return.

The property is so beautiful! We stayed in the winter and the property was warmed up before our arrival, with firewood to keep us warm. Graham was able to quickly respond to any questions we had while there, and his house watchers were so helpful as well. The kitchen is stocked with any tool or spice you could need. Would absolutely book again.

It was hard for us to quite visualize the arrangement of rooms, as the architecture and and layout are quite unique. The Deck includes a Bunkie that is separate from the main building, but joined at the roof by a short gantry. The whole building (and the owner's similarly designed house next to it) is covered by one large roof. This means that any time of day or weather you are sheltered from the elements. The water is filtered from roof water and is delicious. The views over the bay through trees are a delight to wake up to, and deliver stunning sunset light in the evenings.
The grounds are the right mix of curated and wild with a path that winds down to their private beach. The water is exceptional and beach hut, hammock and kayaks etc. mean it's easy to spend time there. There is also an at-your-own-risk zipline, trampoline and treehouse that kept the kids entertained for hours.
Best of all perhaps, were the hosts. They instantly made us feel welcome, and gave us the feeling we were staying with friends that were delighted their efforts and care meant we had a fantastic stay.
I'd love to keep this place a secret, but these guys deserve every bit of praise for what will be a memorable holiday for all of us!

We stayed at the property at the end of Jul23 + it did not disappoint. Everything that you could ever want is there to relax. The property is overlooking a beautiful view to the marina + the bluffs of Georgian Bay to the west; it is especially nice in the evening as the gorgeous lights of the sunset filter through. The property is beautifully designed with the kid at heart; there is an external bunk with a gangplank over the top + a door from the second floor to a hammock on the roof of the bunk that overlooks the outdoor patio. They also have a nice swing on the porch and off to the right, they have a tree fort that has a zip line down to a trampoline. Through the woods next to the zipline, there is a path that goes down to the Georgian Bay with boats for use. The water is clear, blue and beautiful with un-incumbered views down 20-70+ feet with no seaweed. There is practically no one on the water with the exception of random watercraft. The living space is airy, very thoughtfully designed and immaculate with lots of windows to enjoy the outdoors. There are also bikes to use. The property is located in a perfect location where visitors can experience the majesty of the Bruce Peninsula with all that it has to offer (boat excursions, rock jumping, hiking and cave exploring). Town is not located far away either. Wiarton is about 10 km + Owen Sound is 25 km the other way. Graham + Karima are wonderful, caring hosts. Our stay was magical! Thank you Barker family!

We had a wonderful time at this property. It is a beautiful setting with great amenities. Our kids loved swimming, skipping rocks, kayaking, and climbing around the tree house. The bay was very quiet and tranquil. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the beach and the large porch. Our middle child spend hours reading in the hammock on top of the bunky. We only had 2 nights at the property and we had explored the Bruce Peninsula prior to coming, so we did not venture out much once we arrived. The town of Wiarton was cute though and had a nice grocery store. The hosts were accommodating and respected our privacy during our stay. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a great time and lots of outdoor space even given the rainy weather

We had a lovely time at the loft. The cabin is an architectural delight with a view of Lake Huron. Very warm inside, cosy, beautifully decorated, with a well stocked kitchen. Can walk down to the beach and walk alongside the lake, and close to all kinds of hikes and things to do nearby. Graham and Karina were very friendly as well as respectful of privacy. We rented only the lakeside loft aka the north cabin, which shares a platform with the south cabin, where the hosts were.

We had a wonderful week on Graham and Karina’s cottage compound. Great value with many amenities. Beautiful views. Beautiful architecture. The cottage is just right for a close family. The cottage is very open so sound travels which was not an issue for us. The king bed was super cozy and a few nights we had our child and infant snuggled in with us under the fluffy duvet. The cottage is well established, comfortable and casual. They have all the cooking stuff, good bed, lots of blankets and pillows, good quality towels and the right vibe. You’ll feel like you’re staying at your own family’s cottage.
We enjoyed having our host right beside us. G & K are friendly and available but never underfoot.
Bring water shoes and snorkels for the beach.
We highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful views, unique architecture and lots to do. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable. Owner is friendly and genuinely interested in ensuring your stay is enjoyable. Great location for kids as there is a treehouse, trampoline, zipline and private beach that includes a changeroom, kayaks and life jackets. Lots of patio space and seating areas, firepit and BBQ. Lots of trails in the surrounding area. A comfortable & rejuvenating experience for all travelers.

We stayed at the Lakeside Loft for two nights. The cabin is beautiful, with large windows overlooking Lake Huron with spectacular views.
The children had a great time exploring, skipping rocks at the beach, playing board games and jumping on the trampoline. The swing bed was a family favourite. Graham and Karina are lovely hosts, very responsive and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. We would come back again.

Beautiful cabin in the Bruce Peninsula area! Conveniently located to explore nearby parks and towns. My boyfriend and I stayed in the North Cabin for two nights and had an amazing time. The cabin was extremely beautiful and very cozy with big windows where you can look out onto the water and wildlife in the daytime and the beautiful night sky in the evenings. The kitchen was fully stocked so we did lots of cooking. The hosts were very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for what to do in the area. We could not get enough of this place and hope to return ASAP! We recommend to anyone interested in seeing the beautiful Bruce Peninsula!

This is certainly a unique place. It was wonderful and we enjoyed everything about it. The pictures are accurate so it is certainly up to you if this type of architecture and design is for you but for us it was a great experience and we would come back again.

We spent wonderful time at the place early June. Kids love the trampoline and the treehouse. The huge family swing is absolutely the favourite for all 3 generations! Wonderful scenery at sunset. The house is very eco friendly and great experience for kids who’s used to city life. The neighbourhood is nice. The nearby stone skipping dock was a neat surprise. We’ve done day trips to Bruce Peninsula National Park which is about 1hr15 ish drive. Great place to unplug. Graham was super responsive and ensured we had great stay! Would love to come back!

We rent a cottage for a week each summer with another family. There are 5 kids in total between 6 and 12 years of age. This rental was the best by far with so many activities to keep the kids entertained and division of living space with common areas to gather together for meals and hanging out. I highly recommend!

This was our first visit to Cameron Point Harbour House and it was wonderful. We are a group from the GTA area who do an annual hiking trip in the Peninsula. The four separate buildings provided members of the group lots of private space, while at the same time allowing us to come together for socializing and meals in the evenings. Everything we could ask for was there and the owner provided us with very a comprehensive information package in advance. The property is right on the water and at night we could watch the sun setting towards Tobermory as well as enjoy the waterfront amenities. The deck and outside area is absolutely amazing and there are so many places to be together or enjoy some alone time. I would highly recommend it for both families or groups of friends. Definitely plan to return to this special spot. Thanks!!!
