Elevators are horrible.
1.0 / 5.0
The condo unit itself was just fine. However, that's about the only good thing I can say about our stay. The elevators are a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!! The complex has 30 floors and MAYBE 5-6 (functional) elevators for the ENTIRE property. Waiting times of 20-40 minutes were a given (unless it was the super early or super late). I saw disabled tenants walking up steps for at least 6 floors because elevators ever would pick them up. Did I mention there was zero ventilation in the stairways (heat and humidity made them feel like ovens).
EVERYONE, and i mean EVERYONE, was complaining about the situation. I think most everyone complained to the staff about it. The typical response was, "I'm sorry for your inconvenience ".
We didn't speak to anyone that said they would return to Tidewater. I did speak to some that actually were leaving the resort early to find others accommodations.
Bottom line is that I wouldn't go back even if they offered me free accommodations.

The property itself was amazing. Elevators were not great, but to be expected with a condo of that size. The only complaint is the umbrella rental company. The owner of that was impossible to deal with as far as placement of beach chairs.

This is a great rental property! We loved the view from all the huge windows and enjoyed our time here! Only downside was the elevators are extremely slow and the wait can be horribly long at times

Beautiful condo with great views! We would recommend it and love to stay in this particular unit again. Many amenities, especially the gym, were an added plus for our stay.

This well appointed condo had everything we needed in the kitchen to bake, cook and drink! Enough comfortable seating for my family and a large TV for the non-beach times. It has a fantastic view with wraparound windows. The beds were all very comfortable with pretty linens. It had a full sized washer and dryer which is important when drying towels! My only complaint was that the indoor pool and the hot tub were both shut down for maintenance while were were there.

Perfect location. Great size for a family of 6. One bedroom and the bunkbeds had windows that had outside lights that prevented the rooms from being dark at night. Black out shades would be better there. One of the swivel chairs didn't swivel and one of the toilets ran. The elevator, which everyone complained was slow, didn't give us any issues. Overall, it was an exceptional place for us.

It was nice to deal with a smaller company for a change. Though the company smaller, I believe they have less than 40 units in their inventory, they still provided all the service that a large company could and possibly better. Answered questions directly.
In terms of the actual condo, it was very clean, a few trouble spots, but first condo we had been in for a while that we didn't feel like we needed to clean it when we got there. The end unit was very nice to look down the beach while in the living room, and seeing Pier Park at night from the couch was nice.
The unit is listed as a 4 bed room, I believe, but the bunk "room" is in the hall next to the shared bathroom. MeeMaw would have probably preferred to have a little more privacy.
Security at the condo is a little strict, but that can be a good thing to people that are looking for safety. Parking was nice, because they had a 30 min loading zone. We had to use our licensee to check out a luggage cart. But they do have shopping carts, which makes it very easy for unloading the groceries. Which makes me thing of the kitchen, very well stocked. But if you want a large coffee mug, bring your own. They had a dozen coffee cups, but they were more espresso style.
Our family had great time. 1/2 mile walk down the beach to the pier, 5 min drive to Pier Park, Walmart/Target.
The beach service workers were not the nicest and they took up way too much of the beach, but we brough our own tents, and didn't use them.

The place was great, but the elevators are atrocious. Everyone checks in and out at the same time and it’s over an hour wait for an elevator. Otherwise, place is good and enjoyed the stay. The condo has great views and lots of clean spacious rooms.

Had several small children with us and elevators were the worst I have dealt with in 50 years. I would not recommend.

We got in and the check-in was relatively easy. It was a good sized condo and accomadated our group the only thing was most of the silverware utensils were gone. overall a nice place

I always like to list the pros and cons to each property I stay at. I feel like it gives rentees a better picture without all of the words:
Pros:
1. Close to everything- we drove to pier park due to having littles. We were in close walking distance to Dusty’s oyster bar. Marcos pizza is right next door to the condo if you didn’t want to get out at night. Winn Dixie is very close as well so you aren’t fighting traffic going to Walmart
2. Food at the tiki bar is yummy
3. Condo has a really pretty view. We loved the windows
4. Staff was friendly
5. Loved the Starbucks at the flip flops convenient store
Cons
1. The elevator system is terrible
2. Cigarette butts in the pool every morning. But they did vaccum daily
3. I felt like I had to reclean the condo- black long curly hair in our bathroom toilet and sink. My kids feet were black 30 minutes after being there
4. Dishwasher did not clean very well.
5. Some of the comforters were dirty looking (on the bunk beds)
6. The beach system was terrible. Chair/umbrella renters were crammed together. people who brought their own things were setting up within a foot of the first row renters. Picture a beach of seals lying so close together and that’s how you will feel being on the beach.
7. With the chair and umbrella rentals, you didn’t get the same number all week. Each morning you had to go stand in this long line to be assigned a chair and umbrella number.

The condo was very large and comfortable for a family of 9. It was clean and had pretty much everything needed. I would recommend taking a couple of towels, we had to wash them often to keep up and also take beach towels.

The management company was awesome !
I won’t be back to Tidewater . Several elevators weren’t in service or not working . Standing in line 30 + minutes for an elevator isn’t my idea of a relaxing vacation
The beach chair attendants came by several times asking our name room numbers , as though we were done beach chair squatters.
The property management company is the best I’ve dealt with as far as communication goes.

WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO STAY AND A GREAT BEACH!!!! THE ONLY THING I FOUND THAT WASN’T ABSOLUTELY PERFECT IS THAT THE COFFEE MAKER HAD BEEN PUT UP IN THE CABINET WITHOUT BEING CLEANED AND HAD AN OLD MOLDY COFFEE FILTER IN IT. AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES OF CLEANING AND A SANITIZE RUN THROUGH THE DISHWASHER...ALL GOOD. OTHER THAN THAT ONE SMALL THING, GREAT STAY AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE CONDO!!!

Easy to rent property, checking in/out was easy as well. The property was absolutely beautiful and getting up every morning and being able to look at the beach was phenomenal. Did not want to leave.

The view is AMAZING!!!! VERY roomy. The only complaints we had was there aren't enough elevators in the building which the owners can't fix anyway. I would absolutely stay here again!!

Family and friends get-away
The condo was clean and beautifully decorated (could use a few more baking pans in the kitchen- we ate in for all our meals). Beach was awesome. BUT- beware of the elevators. I know this NOT a reflection on the owner, but be prepared to use the stairs or for long waits for the elevator. Great location to restaurants, the pier, etc.

Perfect place for our group of 10
We enjoyed our week stay here. Perfect location just outside of the busy part of PCB but close to the places we wanted to go see. It was a perfect size for our group of 10. Check-in went pretty smooth. There is a walk way from the parking garage to the check-in desk on floor 2. Check-in time gets VERY busy!! Elevators can get congested and take a while but we were never in too much of a hurry. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay!

The condo was great. The building elevators were REALLY slow and had some maintenance issues.

Excellent experience. Will rent it again.

Spring Break Family Vacation
Our FL and VA family met up in PC beach for Spring break and had a wonderful time. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. It was conveniently located in walking distance to the pier shops and activities. The beach was beautiful and the staff was nice. The only recommendation I have for the condo was to upgrade to larger more updated TVs.

Great room, great location.
We loved everything about the room except the outdoor light that shines into the bedroom. Lights up the whole room. And the tv is way too small :)

We had a fantastic time staying here. Location is great and close to pretty much everything. The only real complaint we have is the elevators take a very long time. We would definitely stay here again.

NIghtmare On The Sixth Floor
Most stressful beach trip ever. The elevator situation is horrible. Every once in a while we lucked up. We were on the sixth floor so majority of the time we were having to take the stairs and with an infant. Carrying the stroller up and down up and down. Let me tell you it was not fun. Then we got to the Condo after a 6 hour check in, trying to get our luggage to our room. Catching an elevator in this Condo just isn't going to happen. Serious problems there. Once we got to the room the smell in the room was the worst. Like sulfur and sewage. It was there the whole trip. We called the company we rented from and they were fantastic. Answered every time I called and sent someone right out. They filled the drains with Clorox, it lasted a couple of hours and then the smell was back. After we get in past the smell, there are stains on the furniture and TOENAILS, yes toenails and peanut shells on the carpet where apparently the cleaning people didn't want to vacuum. Also food under the furniture. The door going to the balcony was so heavy it also took 2 people to open. We all connected to the WI-FI once arriving, it lasted about an hour and never could get back on. We were also told the smell are in serval units in the building and the owners are aware of it. We were in 617. Worst vacation money that has ever been spent. If you're looking for a nice relaxing trip with the family, i suggest going some place else!!

Good place but a couple tweaks
We enjoyed this location and room view was beautiful. There are three things that need to be worked on:
1. ELEVATORS! Soooo slow
2. Smell in the washing machine…needs to be cleaned badly
3. There is a sewage smell that needs to be addressed
Room was very clean.

Beautiful condo!
We rented 617 for a girls trip this past weekend and loved it. The condo was clean and HUGE! There was plenty of space, bathrooms, and beds for all 8 of us. The views were seriously incredible, and to this Midwest girl, they were the “take your breath away” incredible. The only issue we had were the elevators in the building. They were out of order frequently and the wait for them was very long, but that can’t be helped in such a large building. Otherwise, it was excellent!

Beautiful views
Beautiful property and gorgeous beach views, with good amenities. Restaurant was good on property and the staff were all very friendly. Beach access was pretty easy, and beach amenities were good. ELEVATORS WERE A NIGHTMARE!!!!, the worst we have ever experienced in any out of town stay

Beautiful Condo - we are in love with it!
The condo was so beautifully decorated and well stocked. It had everything needed but the highlight was the glass walls where you could see the ocean from every view. The wrap balcony gave us great views and my Mom who is in her late 70's was able to set out there and watch us and enjoy the breeze and view all day. This condo was the perfect height to look out and not be so high up. The only downer was the evelevator waits. When it was close to check out time (10:00) or check in time (4:00) there were waits of hours on either side of those times. Being on the 6th floor some of our crew were young and healthy enough to do the stairs but if you had lots of carry or if you are older like me the stairs were not a option. I honestly think it's the week we chose to go down though - it was the week of the 4th of July with people getting out after the shut down last year so it was just a crowded time. Fortunately for us the condo was so gorgeous we didn't care if we left or not. One other negative was one night we had some one at the pool playing latino music really loud. So loud that we couldn't enjoy our balcony and we couldn't even watch tv or get out little one down for the night. (the balcony wraps towards the pool so that is why we heard it so loudly) We searched everywhere in the paper work sent to us and in the info posted in the condo to see if we could get the music turned down and there was nothing on security. We did reach out to maintenance and left a message and texted housekeeping and they were going to try to contact someone. We finally had someone get dressed and go downstairs and get the security number off the door and they were very nice and told me that they were working a hit and run in the garage and that they could not make them turn down the music but they could ask them to becasue it was before 10:00 pm. We seriously enjoyed the music for the first hour but it was so pounding after 2 1/2 hours we were over it. Thankfully they left the pool area with their music. Those were just two small complaints (elevators and music) but the beautiful condo far out weighted those. the attention given to the small deails was wonderful We felt comfortable and pampered and we will defintely request this condo EVERY TIME we travel back. #617 is our favorite. (also the chairs included was wonderful) Thanks for allowing us to enjoy this special place. We miss it already.

It was wonderful -
The condo was roomy and the view was exceptional. The beds were very comfortable. Had a great time and certainly will consider again. The only thing that was bothersome was the very slow elevators, and there was so many people both on the road and in the restaurants. The beach was so nice.
