One of the best holiday cottages we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful stone cottage, very well equipped, comfortable and in a stunning location. The views and the well kept gardens were a treat and Jeff, the property manager, was very helpful

Our stay at Apple Cottage was absolutely perfect! The cottage and surrounding gardens are straight out of a picture book and the location is perfectly appointed for getting to all the nearby Cotswold villages. When we return to England, we will definitely book it again!

Hard to describe the comfort and beauty of Apple Cottage, the warm reception and the surrounding scenery of Snowshill and the Cotswolds a wonderful week fulfilling a dream.

This is a lovely, comfortable cottage in an idyllic location. It's just a short walk a lovely pub; The Snowshill Arms and within short driving distances of traditional & charming Cotswold towns. To add to this National Trust properties and a steam railway are nearby. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable and boasts DVD / Blu Ray players for watching your favourite films whilst sitting in from of the log fire. A very generous welcome basket was provided on arrival which was very much appreciated. Overall a really lovely cottage.

I can't begin to describe the most wonderful place to stay. I wouldn't change a thing about the cottage. If you look up cozy in the dictionary there would be a picture of Apple Cottage. I'm on my way home to start to save up to come again. Maybe next year we could spend Christmas at the Cottage. When I die if I get to heaven, it will be in Snowshill.

I cannot fault this cottage. The only minor thing was the lack of a good coffee machine :)
Beautiful garden too, but the set could do with a bit of paint.

We loved our stay in Apple Cottage! The house is a perfectly charming stone cottage in a stunning countryside setting. We visited for a few days in late July. Views stretch from the flower-filled patio across a small orchard in the garden, to rolling green hills and sheep pastures. The interior of the house is full of character, including a sweet living/dining room with comfortable chairs and working fireplace, a tidy kitchen stocked with the necessities (milk, eggs, bread, butter, cheese, marmalade, and fruit), two nice bedrooms, and two bathrooms. We met the hosts, who could not have been more lovely and helpful. Down some steps and a small hill, the gardens include a small pond and lawn. The tiny town of Snowshill is quiet and picturesque, with a friendly pub for dinner or drinks less than a 5-minute walk from the house. We did a lovely 3-hour walk through the countryside right from the house using the detailed trail map provided. Snowshill is the perfect location for exploring local towns including Chipping Campden and Bourton-on-the Water. We highly recommend Apple Cottage!

Apple Cottage is a really lovely property in Snowshill. It has everything required for a tranquil break away. The cottage sits high up in the village with wonderful views and has all the amenities you would require. A lovely property

We stayed at Apple cottage over the new year period, and I want to give a big thank you to the owners and the caretaker. The cottage is heavenly!
We arrived at dusk and the lights were on, the cottage warm and cosy, and the Christmas lights all lit, a big welcome basket of goodies and milk and fresh orange in the fridge, what a lovely welcome!
The cottage itself is very spacious, big bedrooms with huge comfy beds and soft bed linens. I couldn’t wait to get into bed every night!
The kitchen is really well equipped, dishwasher tablets, foil and cling film all provided, it’s a lovely space to cook in.
The views from the cottage are amazing, even in winter, golden dawns and orange sunsets and pure peace. I can’t tell you how peaceful the cottage is. And a pub in walking distance!
Come here if you want to relax, it’s a world away from our usual hectic lives.
Oh and it’s immaculately clean, I only wish I knew how to shine a tap like the caretaker of this lovely house!

A comfortable, very clean cottage with two large and airy bedrooms; a compact but well-equipped kitchen and a lovely log fire, which was well used by us during a frosty stay! One bathroom has a bath (which although it takes quite a long time to fill is well worth the wait!) and the en-suite has a shower. Everything we needed for our stay was provided and the excellent welcome hamper was much appreciated. There is off-street parking to the rear of the property, which is an added bonus.

It was a very comfortable and well furnished cottage in a great location. In the upstairs bedroom, it may be better to have a cosy armchair or small sofa instead of the desk and chair which doesn’t really serve any purpose.

This was our fourth vacation in the Cotswolds and by far the best, due almost exclusively to the the charm and beauty of Apple Cottage. The house itself is lovely and well situated with a view from the bedroom that is beautiful and inspiring, a quintessential Cotswold panorama. As the name implies, the cottage has several apple trees, and they were loaded with ripe, succulent apples for the picking. Beautiful fireplace with wood supplied was a huge bonus for us on chilly evenings. The property managers are perfect, ever helpful but never intrusive. You can drive a short distance into Broadway to pick up food or other basics from a variety of suppliers, including the outstanding Collins Butcher Shop. Walking trails abound as do historical sites and venues for enjoying nature, like Hidcote Gardens or Batsford Arboretum. And at the end of long day, you can drop into the charming Snowshill Arms pub for a pint and decent meal. If we return to the area, Apple Cottage will be the first choice for accommodations.

A very special cottage
We have been visiting the Cotswolds for 30 years and stayed in many cottages. Aople Cottage is definitely one of the best. Snowshill is a beautiful quiet village, well away from busy roads. Lots of walks directly from the door. Both bedrooms are spacious and have very good quality bedding We preferred the ground floor bedroom (actually raised ground floor) for the beautiful view. The living room is spacious with a huge fireplace and a large window overlooking the courtyard. The dining table also very nice. We prefer the North Cotswolds so the position of this cottage was ideal for us. It was just the two of us staying (due to covid) so probably a bit extravagant for two people but it was lovely to have the extra space.

Magical winter break
Apple Cottage was a perfect accommodation to spend our 4 nights. The location was perfect for travelling around the Cotswold towns and villages. The cottage was amazingly kitted out with all our needs from kitchen ware and equipment, bedding, most comfortable lounge to plentiful logs for the open fire. The central heater was more than adequate considering the low winter temperatures. Jeff the manager lives next door and was always available if required. My wife, daughter and I could not have asked for more. I sincerely hope we can return again at some time. Totally recommend this cottage and the location.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a beautiful cottage
This beautiful, well maintained cottage in the lovely village of Snowshill provided an ideal base for a Cotswolds stay. Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated it provided spacious and comfortable accommodation for four people. The manager, who lives next door, was welcoming and very helpful.

Beautiful Cottage
We had a 5 day stay at Apple Cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated and contained everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Jeff, the caretaker was extremely helpful and was there to greet us and the owners also popped in to check every thing was okay for us. It is situated in a very convenient location to visit all of the beautiful Cotswold villages. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for self-catering accommodation.

Apple Cottage, Snowshill
A great position in this gorgeous Cotswolds village, in walking distance of the church, the pub and Snowshill Manor (NT). An extensive property with lots of storage space and facilities. Use of the wider garden and a private patio space for drinks and meals etc.
A change of level between the kitchen and the living room should be considered by those with disabilities, plus steps up from the car parking space when entering or leaving the property.
Geoff who looks after the property lives next door and is very helpful and full of good advice.
Broadway is a 15 minute drive away for great shops and restaurants.
Broadway Tower, one of the best attractions in the area, is a 10 minute drive away.

The Glorious Cotswolds & Lovely Apple Cottage
We know the Cotswolds very well and, especially Broadway...which is a beautiful place to stay and visit. However, our stay in Apple Cottage, Snowshill, a short distance outside of Broadway was perfect.
Apple Cottage, itself, was, wonderfully situated, with parking space for one, however, as we were two couples with two cars, Jeff and his partner, the Property Managers (who lived next door) provided an extra parking space and were absolutely wonderful people to deal with...extremely helpful, accommodating and very kind.
There was structural work being completed behind the cottage, at times, during our stay, and our hosts were very concerned that we were being inconvenienced...we were not...these things have to be done! However, they did provide us with a little compensation, which was gratefully received and put towards our final evening meal out!
The cottage was clean, comfortable and exceptionally well-maintained...some old, dark paintings and a few old pieces of furniture could be updated...nevertheless, the cottage contained everything we wanted. A Master Bedroom with en suite, an exceptionally large bedroom on the first floor, although the bathroom was on the ground floor (certainly room for another en suite upstairs) and the kitchen was modern and very well-equipped...new cutlery was provided, on our second day, to replace the assortment of cutlery originally in the cottage.
I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough; its situation (very central to visit all areas of the Cotswolds and beyond), a beautiful garden, a patio (which we could not use because of the weather) and the inside, as I have stated, was very well equipped, maintained and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
I would certainly return to Apple Cottage and wish to thank Jeff and his lovely partner for their care during our stay.

The perfect cottage
Without doubt one of the nicest holiday cottages we have stayed in. We loved the house, It is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, spacious rooms, comfy beds and a suntrap patio with gorgeous views over the Cotswolds. And just a few minutes walk to the pub. All this set in a picture postcard village.
The setting is very peaceful and the house manager was very helpful. We will definitely come back, cannot recommend this place highly enough. A gem of a cottage!

Good points, bad points.
Terrible internet connection, you need to tell clients when you book, I needed to do some and work wanted to watch on the internet.
Not enough towels, coat hangers ( why not buy wooden IKEA ones, cheap as chips) and some crockery. The fire (or logs) difficult to light and keep going.
Garden beautiful, great to be able to use it.
Bed amazingly comfortable.
Jeff very helpful.
Loved the village but because of the internet would struggle to go back.

Apple Cottage - Short Break
This is a fabulous cottage and gardens in a stunning location. The Welcome Pack included all the essentials for breakfast on the first morning in addition to a delicious cake that went down well with a cup of tea on arrival. A plentiful supply of seasoned logs helped keep us warm and cosy as temperatures were below zero during our stay as was the provision of electric heaters to support the heating during this particularly cold snap. Whilst the chairs and sofas could do with a little more upholstering, the beds and bedding were of superb quality and comfortable. Very clean and tastefully decorated throughout with a pub within walking distance - Apple Cottage is a gem.

Beautiful cottage
A lovely welcoming cottage with much character and warmth. The whole cottage was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and set in beautiful surroundings. The welcome food pack contained all local produce and was the best we have ever experienced in a self catering property. With a wealth of places to visit locally, our week was over far too quickly and we hope to return.

A Little Piece of Heaven
Our recent stay at Apple Cottage could not have been more pleasant! From the moment we walked in the door to this perfectly clean, tastefully decorated cottage we felt instantly comfortable. While the home itself was absolutely lovely, the surroundings and views were stunning! We were able to hike many gorgeous walks and cycle quiet roads right out our front door. It will not be our last visit to Apple Cottage!!!
