It was such a delight to stay here. Lovely place with a beautiful large garden, a nice comfy room with spotless private bathroom, tasteful filling breakfast with many fresh and homemade products, two lovely fluffy friends (a cat and a dog) and of course the ever hospitable Geraldine as your host. There’s really very little to not like about this place, we had a great time here.
I could imagine that it might be a bit hard to communicate if you don’t know any French because the host speaks very little English. But otherwise this place is just amazing.

the property was beautiful.
out of the way from the busy traffic but close to everything. a quiet escape.

The host was fantastic providing excellent information about nearby attractions and restaurants and spending lots of time with us to ensure we would have a great time not only in the accommodation but in the area. All the reviews of the gite made mention of the breakfast and no wonder! Geraldine went out of her way to provide a varied breakfast each morning with loads of food!
For us the bed could be more firm and the shower temperature warmer BUT we were really happy with our room. The entire house is immaculately clean!!!

The host is a very nice lady and makes you feel at home. The breakfasts she made were really good (we even asked her for a recipe for the gingerbread).
The location is outside of the city (15-20 minutes drive to the center, 10 minutes drive to mount orford) but it's quiet and cozy.
Very comfy beds.

The hot tub and the pool were a great plus to this stay and the breakfasts were varied and delicious, but on the sweet side. The owner was the perfect hostess.
We got the last room available of the five, which what was the smallest compared to the other 4 in terms of floor space, barhroom, and drawers & hooks for clothing. And our wall was right against the kitchen wall, a little noisy in the morning. We plan to go back, but to one of the other rooms.

Our room was clean and the decoration fresh. Rooms on the ground floor are small but well laid out with a table and chairs to sit at and enough space for our suitcases. Bed linens are soft. The breakfasts were excellent. The property has a large deck in the back, an above-ground pool, a jacuzzi, a barbeque, a fire pit and nice water features. The friendy house dog, a border collie, has beeen well trained, does not jump up, and can be a constant source of amusement outside.
The central air conditioning for our room, Méli Mélo, had trouble keeping up in the hot weather but this was not a problem in the adjacent room.

Excellent breakfast, very quiet location, very attentive owner, felt welcomed, very nice kitchen setup.

We had a great time at the Gite. The Host was wonderful, very pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and varied every day. The location of the Gite was perfect and the accommodation exceeded our expectations. I will definitely go back to this Gite next time I travel to Sherbrooke.

The breakfasts were delicious. Geraldine is a very kind and welcoming host who made certain upon our arrival that we had everything we needed to make sure our stay was comfortable. The garden is beautiful. And the surroundings were very peaceful. As far as covid, everyone was responsible and respectful about following protocols. Many thanks.
It really was all good! No complaints. Clean, hospitable, very delicious snd generous breakfasts which Geraldine kindly tailored to us because we’re vegetarian. Beautiful garden. My husband enjoyed the hot tub. Another guest told us about a local brasserie on gorgeous-setting Lac Brompton where we had dinners. We had a lovely five-star getaway.

Everything!!! See above!
Excellent service all around! The owner is very friendly and caring, helpful with information be it for restaurants or places to visit. Géraldine makes a great homemade breakfast (even the bread according to tastes), runs a beautiful spotless place, the grounds are huge and well kept also! We loved our stay and will not hesitate to return and refer to others! The best we have stayed in so far! Did I mention the rooms....each with a private bathroom....a first for us!!! Awesome well located place to stay at! 🤩😍

There is nothing you would complain about. It’s a house surrounded by nature and providing you access to a pool and hot tub in the Garden. Especially after a long hike, very appreciated to jump in!;)
Geraldine is lovely and very caring but leaves you to your privacy as well.
The breakfast is a plate varying from different cakes, accompanied by coffee tee fresh orange juice and fruits. There is also home made bread and Marmelade!
We would love to come here again!
