This property was perfect for our extended families over Christmas and New Year’s. It was a bonus that even our pet retriever could enjoy the festivities with us. Life slows down when you are literally across the road from the dog beach and stunning Blue Bay. The house had everything we needed from coffee machines to a cheesecake tin! The outside shower got a workout as well. Denise and Barry are excellent hosts.

Immaculately clean with everything you could need for your stay. Fabulous for dogs and kids. The driveway is very steep, as is the walk down to the beach so keep that in mind for any limitations in movement or for little kids. Our old dog has arthritis so we just ended up driving to a more accessible beach just a few minutes away which was fine. It's an older house but it's very cute and homely.

A Little Piece of Paradise.
We always enjoy our stay here. The view of the ocean gets me everytime. To walk across the road to the dog beach is an extra bonus, our two hounds have the best holiday, too.
The house is neat and clean and enough room for the family.Great to be able to keep the boat locked away, too.
Denise and Barry are friendly and it's great to see them each year.

Stunning view, relaxing setting
This property was the perfect location for a quick family holiday. Situated opposite the beach, the setting is picturesque. Driving up to the property, you instantly feel welcomed.
The property is older and had a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of family holidays as a child. Although the listing indicated there are three bedrooms, one is not connected to the main house so we didn't use that option. Having said that, there are ample beds with one room containing 2 x Single beds plus a bunk bed and the formal lounge room also had a sofa bed.
Everything was very clean and well presented.
The secure front yard was great for our dog, although the step down to the lawn was a bit too steep for her to handle. Our little boy loved running around the enclosed yard and talking to the birds which visited every day.
Denise is a great host and is very welcoming and made us feel at home.
A wonderful location, it was great to be able to hear the waves every night and watch the sunset over the sea.

Perfect Beachfront location
We loved it, just 2 minutes from town but with a peace and quiet that we love. Fresh air, beautiful beach and the sound of the ocean. The house is very comfortable, not flash but well set up for families with kids and/or dogs - with the best 180 degree views. Cafe close enough to walk and lots of space. Recommend for families or oldies, all on one level - perfect.

Perfect on the Beach
We stayed at the beachfront accommodation twice now and have really enjoyed ourselves each time. Mandurah and its surrounding area has a lot to offer.
This house has everything you need and more, it is home away from home, and is spotlessly clean.
Denise and Barry are very welcoming and it is a great place to stay with pets. I would highly recommend this property.

Relaxing week away
We arrived with an open mind and were pleasantly surprised. Beautiful, peaceful location and perfect accommodation for us with a grandparent, two teenage children and two dogs. My teenage son immediately claimed the detached back room (sleeps 4) as his and enjoyed the privacy. Would be perfect for two families as plenty of beds and living space. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery. Enjoyed watching the sunsets and waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the shore. Nice to have Dome within a short bike ride and some lovely family beaches within walking distance.

For those who appreciate a cozy, comfortable ambience in a spectacular setting, this is the place for you! We certainly appreciated the efforts made by Denise & Barry to create a peaceful, homely experience for their guests. This little beach side dwelling was everything we could have wanted for our long weekend away. Our family of 2 adults, 3 children and 1 dog, were made to feel very welcome. Although only 2 bedrooms, there was an abundance of space. The kitchen was well stocked with all the gadgets we needed to cook up a storm and a lovely big pantry to fill with yummy food. The beds were comfortable. The 2 living areas filled with everything we needed. There were books to read, movies to watch, games to play and a view to die for! The house was clean and fresh. Our decision to come with no expectation, only a willing openness to whatever awaited us, absolutely paid off. No this is not 5 star luxury, accommodation. This is a lovely home away from home. A peaceful, happy place to relax in comfort and enjoy your loved ones and the beauty of nature.See you again Denise and Barry!Liz, Pete & family (Please feel free to post 'Liz, Peter & family' but would rather our surnames, email etc. remained private - Thank you :)
