No hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

The setting was idyllic, an oasis of calm. Facilites were excellent. Short walk to the centre, beach, bars and restaurants. Very close to local market.

Comfortable, relaxed, fun, convenient.

My family and I had an incredible stay at Quinta Da Villa! The host was easy to communicate with and very friendly. The inside of the villa was as pictured and extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable. The ktichen is tiny but well stocked and had everything we could need. The outdoor area was a little more worn then expected. But that did not take away from the comfort of the place. We spent 4 days here in July and it was the perfect place for us to relax. The villa is so private but so close to town. it is the perfect combination of comfort and convenient The path into town is easy and pretty. It was easy enough for my 4 year old and 7 year old to walk daily. It was also so conveniently located! I Would recommend this place and hope to stay again on our next visit.

The yard is hard dirt and dry grass so not easy to play on for kids. The outdoor furniture is old and worn or torn. However, it was all very clean and still very comfortable.

An idyllic rural retreat within easy walking distance to the centre of Cascais

A peaceful oasis just a short walk from the centre of Cascais. Spacious accommodation with a lovely pool and lots of nice spots to soak up the sun or relax in the shade. Marco is extremely welcoming and helpful. We’ll definitely return.

The pool and games like table tennis, archery and basketball as well as volleyball and badminton were great for our teens. The location was lovely too, a short walk from the mercado (visit on Wednesday) and a nice 10min stroll to town.

Cleanliness, options to entertain kids, great air on, excellent host

Delete the photos showing the pool from all adverts and show the fact it is about 2m x 3m and holds only 4 people. Specifically booked it because it looked like a great pool but it was a very clever photo. Expensive price without a pool to match.

Tranquil location with easy walking distance to the market with great restaurants, walk a few more minutes and you're in the centre of Cascais with another 2 minutes walk to the coast.

Very good

Great location, great hosts. The place was clean and nice with a complimentary bottle of wine to stat the day right. The center of Cascais is walking distance, while the place itself is very calm and quaint. Lot's of activities (table tennis, pool, trampoline, old-timey foosball etc) available.

The roosters next door are pretty loud very early, so if you're a light sleeper, that can be a pain. Nothing the place can do about it, but just for consideration. The place is also showing its age and could use some maintenance (bedroom door not closing, faucet handle just falling off etc).

Great place to relax with children, in the heart of Cascais

Well positioned, just a short safe walk from the town center, beach, shops and train station (direct connections into Lisbon). Marco the owner is very kind and welcoming and does everything necessary to ensure you have a great stay! The accommodation is great if you have children, with a play area and plenty of sports equipment to keep them busy from table tennis to football etc. Not to mention the swimming pool. Also plenty of places for adults to sit and relax in the sunshine.

Nice quiet spot in Cascais

Excellent little spot in Cascais, close enough to restaurants and sites, but still quiet and tranquil. Host was excellent, took great care of us, and spoke good English. The grounds looked nice although we were usually out and about.

The best place to stay in Cascais

What a perfect location! You are in a quiet seemingly “rural” area and at the same time you are minutes to the centre of the town. Walking along a beautiful walk up to the market place ( Mercado) and then you are in own! Plus secure parking within the property and a helpful owner who is always there to give you advice, what more do you need?

Great place, cool games and delicious wine!

A lot of games and activities available in the property! and they also gave a complimentary wine, water, and couple biscuits. The whole house/apartment was wonderful and very comfortable. The hosts were kind and welcoming. I will definitely recommend and visit again if I find myself back in Cascais.

Rus in Urbe in Cascais

We travelled with our young son for his first holiday abroad. Our host Marco was very welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay, especially with recommendations for things to do in Cascais and Lisbon. The property is perfect for families with small children, an easy 10 minute walk to Cascais train station but set in a quiet park with sheep and rabbits. The extent of the facilities was unexpected and our son was able to swim in the pool and play on the trampoline and in the playhouse in the large garden. The house was perfect for us - clean and comfortable and really quiet at night. Tv and WiFi worked really well and microwave and cooking facilities were very useful. A very memorable stay.

A wonderful friendly and peaceful oasis.

Quinta Da Villa is located effectively in a green valley only about 10 minutes easy walk from the centre of Cascais. The owner Marco and his family live in the main house and there are 2 self contained ground floor, well equipped and comfortable apartments. Marco is the most wonderful,friendly, hard working and genuine host. He guided us in, explained where everything was to be found, helped us with great tips on places to visit nearby and even provided a nice bottle of wine as a welcome gift.

The bed was really comfortable but one side was very close to a wall making it a bit tight to manoeuvre in and out. Not a huge problem, just the layout of the room .

A little oasis close to the centre of things!!

We spent a very pleasant 10 nights in this gem. Very close to the centre of Cascais (10 minute walk through a park) but still had the feeling of being more remote. Lovely place to relax during the day by the pool or sit outside and admire the stars with a glass of wine at night. Loads of activities available for your use and some family fun. Accommodation was modern, clean and comfortable. Marco the owner ensures your stay is comfortable.

Beautiful little flats in a villa. Perfect for couples, the flat is modern and small but you get to enjoy the huge garden facilities outside. Quick walk to the Cascais centre through nature path. The host was very friendly, we would come back again.

Would stay here again - nature paradise in Cascais

Location was wonderful. A beautiful (partly nature) walk to the center of Cascais. It's a green paradise in the city - with huge garden and really surrounded by nature. The room was exactly what we needed: bed, nice shower, facilities to cook some breakfast.

We would definitely stay here again. Potentially it was a bit too humid in the room, but not that important to us - we just kept airing out as we love fresh air :)

Location was perfect. Walkable to town, quiet surroundings. Beautiful property surrounded by quiet and scenic farms. Very nice yard, garden and outdoor area. Great play area for kids.

Owner charges extra tourist tax on site (cash, per person, per night). Apartment got really damp and wet overnight with a moldy musk smell. Hot water was almost non existent except early in the morning. Owner on site so lack of privacy.

Great location and facilities close to Lisbon.

We loved location close to Lisbon and facilities at the property. Kids enjoyed table tennis, trampoline and garden. Owner left a bottle of wine for us at arrival and prepared an outdoor fireplace on the new years eve which we enjoyed a lot. Train station was 10 minutes from the property and it took about 40 minutes to get to the centre of Lisbon. We did not have to use our car at all.

What a gem…

Fantastic place in the middle of Cascais. Both kids and parents loved the facilities. A huge garden with tons of activities and hosts that go over and beyond to make you feel welcome. We will definitely come back.

Perfect stay for families!

Perfect place for families with children - we stayed a whole week and will come back! The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay but the best part is the spacious garden, with swimming pool, games and a lounge to enjoy slow days and evenings, have a meal and glass of wine outdoors, while kids are asleep just next door. The host is super helpful, putting extra effort to make your stay more comfortable. We hope to come back soon!
