We were hiking the GR131 on Fuerteventura and the Villa Cecilio is basically right on the track. We stayed at the studio and loved it. It had all we needed, the bed was comfortable and the night very quiet. The host was very friendly and made us feel at home. We had the optional breakfast, which was delicious.

Prima verblijf. Een supermooi uitzich vanaf het zitje buiten.
Mooie wandeling vanuit Tefia gemaakt met alleen maar uitzicht!
Er was geen waterkoker

The location, the clever and stylish use of space.
The garden.
The owner.

Beautiful room, comfortable and cleary. Nice and helpful staff. Everything great😊

Awesome garden. Nice little studio with private bathroom.
If I would have stayed longer I would have liked a kitchen to cook something. But there is a microwave and a little oven for toasting things.

Carla is a fantastic host. Bubbly and accommodating. House and rooms are rustic with antique furnishings. Spotlessly clean and very quiet. Lovely sunset overlooking the mountains.

Carla has created a wonderful guest house. Beautiful furnishings, everything immaculate, lovely breakfast. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay here. We had been cycling all day, so was nice to have a lovely room to sleep in. Very quiet location. We had a 2 course dinner and wine.. we also had a great breakfast. The host is italian and we loved practicing our Italian with her 😀

great place to stay during our hike.
nice, silent and caring owner.
No Owen food is allowed. So you have to rely on the offer of five or breakfast.
there are no places for food or drinks near by.

Super nice and welcoming host, great room, amazing views and surroundings. it was a perfect choice to spend a night when hiking though the island.
all was great

While the location was very pretty, the approach was not. Dirt tracks with no lighting meant I wouldn't have been comfortable driving back in the dark. And there was nothing nearby in walking distance to get food / groceries.
Value for money is just so poor. We spent 50 euro to share a small house with another guest and with hosts who we could hear the entire time (it's their house, totally fine for them to do what they want, would just prefer not to pay to be nearby).
It was a really strange feeling throughout the stay - we're in the middle of nowhere, but can't experience quiet and solitude because the neighbours are loud, their dog is barking throughout, the hosts are in the next room talking to each other loudly, another guest is in the common room. One of the most surreal and disappointing travel experiences I have had.
Host and common area: Carla seemed to be quite friendly and nice and accommodating, but I did not appreciate having to ask her for simple things like a plate and cutlery just to cut up some fruits we had brought with us. There's no kitchen in the common area, just a kettle and toaster. No plates and cutlery either unless you grab hold of the host and ask for them.
The bathroom was clean, but it's a shared bathroom and there's a big sign to not flush toilet paper down the toilet, so I avoided the bathroom as much as possible for obvious reasons.
I am amazed by the reviews here. I can imagine a hostel experience is fun or if you're a group and occupy both rooms in the house. But I can't imagine anyone paying 50 Euros to stay in a remote location and then having to share a space with very obviously present hosts.
Wish I could take this booking and this day back. A terrible experience in what was otherwise a lovely holiday in Fuerteventura.

Helpfull and caring owner. Tasty dinner, spacious room. Possibility to wash your clothes if needed. Surrounded by beautiful landscape. Very easy going communication and flexibility in case of arrival time. Cooled watter and sweets was nice bonus.
Basic breakfast (4€) a bit too small, so I recommend to choose extended version not to be hungry within an hour. In any case everything was super tasty.

Very clean place, and Carla was a pleasant person.
We had problems with water, like almost everyone in Tefía. I also didn't like the fact that the neighbor's dogs were let free

Great place! Clara made us feel very welcome and we had breakfast/dinner every day at her place. Great food from an Italian chef.

We decided to celebrate our anniversary here and Carla was a super host.
She was great with contacting us via WhatsApp and even decorated our bed for us and left us candles.
We loved the room, it was bigger than we expected and had nice furniture.
Our favourite was the jacuzzi which had lights, music and nice warm water.
What a fantastic stay!
The only bad thing is that the room had a shared bathroom but Carla even prepares a separate mat for the shower for each room.

Very nice place. Carla was the best host in the whole Canary Islands. Very friendly and hospitable 👍

We contacted Carla in advance and asked about dinner. She cooked homemade pasta and chicken - it was amazing, maybe our best meal in Fuerteventura! The facilities are better than we expected. It’s a really special little place in the middle of nowhere, off the tourist trail. A few minutes walk to the windmill on the current cover of Lonely Planet Canaries.

Villa Cecilio is a wonderful place in Tefia in a remote area which makes for a perfect stopover travelling across the island. We had a wonderful time staying with the Italian owners. Dinner and breakfast options were delicious. I would come back any time. Thanks!

Nice and cozy house with Garden in the middle of wilderness. Total peace and no lights. Housekeeper was Very kind and helped us with our broken car and we had a nice conversation.
Little bit Hard to navigate there, but once you get there, everything is fine.
