About this house rental
Located on Ocean Ave across the street from Moody Beach just north of Ogunquit beach. Newly renovated 3000 square foot home features 3 very large bedrooms 2 newly renovated full baths and an updated kitchen with ample space throughout. The first floor consist of an open concept living room and kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, a dining table to seat eight and a penisula that seats three, a full bathroom, laundry and one bedroom consisting of 2 queen size beds, a flat screen TV and a deck off the front along with plenty of closet and storage space. The second floor features a second dining area to accomadate 4-6, a second living room with a flat screen TV and ample seating. There is also another full bathroom and one bedroom which has a king size bed with a large closet, sitting area, ample storage and another deck with beautiful views of Moody beach. The third floor is a very large bedroom which consists of three tri-bunk beds ample storage and beautiful ocean views, this floor is open loft style overlooking the second floor living area. There is also a new outside shower, large deck with gas grill along with outside dining off the first floor living room. all of the furniture is new throughout.

We had a wonder time at this property! Jill was very responsive and helpful to ensure we had what we needed. Public beach access just a short walk away and the beach was fabulous. There were “private beach” signs posted in front of several houses so be aware where you put your stuff down (we had a man let us know we were sitting on private property but we could stay just to ‘respect the beach’). Other than that day no issues and we loved it. Highly recommend!

We were a group of 10 (6 adults and 4 children), and this house had everything we needed for a most enjoyable stay. The place has enough space for each family to have its own privacy and yet share moments together. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining room, the living room and the patio were very much appreciated. We absolutly recommand this well designed and bright beach house.

Jill and Brian could not have been more perfect hosts. The house was a perfect place to spend a family vacation and house quite a few people. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need and it is a five minute walk to the beach, which could not make it more perfect beach vacation.

This house is perfect for a big family. There is plenty of space for everyone. The location can't be better : just a 2 minutes walk from the beach. The owner is very fast to answer when you have a request or an information to ask. Two adults slept in the upper bedroom and found the beds too noisy and uncomfortable. Besides this downside, we highly recommand this house.

The property itself was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised by the top floor bunk room - it's enormous and very cool at night. This house gets some great ocean breezes pretty much all day and night making for a very comfortable house. All of the bedrooms are huge - the photos do not do these rooms justice. Beach access is a 2 minute walk but technically Moody Beach is "private" - meaning you'd have to own or rent property on the beach itself. We didn't have any issues with people complaining and we spent 3 days on the beach before we saw the actual sign. Overall the location is lot quieter than Wells Beach up the road so if you don't mind the "private beach" gray area, I highly recommend this location!

I could not love this property more! Short walk to the beach. Not much driving. We saved so much money just buying groceries and eating in. Ocean view from 2nd and 3rd floor. Plenty of space to get some quiet time if you’re with a large group. Jill was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!!!

Great Location!
Great location! Very short walk to the beach. Beach is quiet, not busy and crammed like Ogunquit when it's high tide. House is very accommodating for our 3 families. Wonderful decks to sit out on to eat or relax . Short drive to anything you need.

moody beach
Lovely property, very responsive host. The barbecue grill was rusted out and they offered to replace it right away. Absolutely loved the second floor deck. Used it all the time. The only reason I wouldn't stay again is that I have severe lung disease and only the bedrooms are air conditioned. We were lucky that the weather was fine for us to just open windows and have fans on. The beds in the downstair bedrooms and second floor bedrooms were great but my 28 yo daughter found that the bunk beds on the third floor were pretty uncomfortable. Probably fine for child. Overall, would recommend this property if ac isn't an issue. Love Moody beach

Perfect location!
We had an amazing stay at Jill’s house. We were two families with toddlers, so proximity to the beach was a must. The house was spacious enough for both families, we also enjoyed the balconies to hang out and the multiple bedrooms. We will come back for sure!

Beautiful beach house
A spacious well kept home, just off Moody beach in Wells that met all and exceeded most of our expectations. Just an overall great experience with a responsive owner just a text away should questions arise. My family of 5, plus 2 grandparents, found the home clean and well appointed. The walk to the beach short and painless (not always our experience in Wells/Ogunquit where we’ve stayed numerous times). And we had plenty of space between the multiple living rooms and decks that you could congregate together or have quiet time on your own indoors or outdoors.
Overall a very nice place to stay and one we’ll likely revisit in the future.

Best Location - We love Moody Beach!
The location was exactly what we needed. We have a 3 year old and 1 year old, so being close enough from the beach to *walk* back to the house for naps, lunch, forgotten items (so many when a toddler needs all their possessions) was KEY without packing up and driving the entire family around. Moody beach is gorgeous (the only thing to be aware of is at high tide the beach is very small, depending when that falls when you stay) but at low tide or anything leading up to, OH MY! Might be my fav place on earth. The street is gorgeous, the house was perfect for our needs (and spacious to invite more family), Jill was AMAZING as a host, and being geographically between Kennebunkport and OQT we did lots of day trips. Highly, highly recommend!

Perfect getaway
I cant say enough wonderful things about this rental. From the wonderful location of being right near the beach, and the perfect location between kennebunkport and ogunquit.. to the sweetest owner Jill, who was always a text away if I had a question for her. She was a pure delight. The house is beautiful and came with all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay. We’re already discussing coming back! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! It made my mother’s 60th birthday weekend one to remember.

Great beach house in Wells Maine
Our group of 11 had a wonderful time at this beautiful Wells Maine Beach House. Everyone was comfortable and had plenty of room. The kitchen had everything we needed and our host made everything easy and seamless. It was low stress and a great experience from start to finish. Two living rooms, a deck with a grill, an upper deck with a great ocean view and a front porch..so many places to gather, talk and enjoy each other’s company. We will be back. Thank you!!

Amazing vacation in Maine
We just returned from a great 4 night stay in Wells! We were two families with 5 kids in total and the layout was perfect. The adult bedrooms were comfortable and quiet and the kids loved having their own “clubhouse” upstairs. The house was very clean and had everything guests might need from board games to boogie boards. It was nice waking up with the warm morning sun and a glimpse of the ocean and ending the day on the back deck preparing to grill with a cold drink.
The house is a very short walk to beautiful Moody Beach and perfectly situated to explore Oqunquit, Wells, York, the lighthouse and everything else in the area.
Jill was communicative and informative both before our arrival and during our stay and made the entire process a pleasure. We really couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely return.

Great just off beach
Actually truly convenient to the beach (90 secs walk); can hear the ocean even if can only see little snippets of it. House is excellent - nice kitchen/family room, nice bedrooms. Jill is an excellent host!

Loved the House
Very impressed with the house. It is as shown. Kitchen/living area perfect for our family (5 kids/5 adults). Upstairs deck with views of ocean was relaxing; kids enjoyed staying all together in the bunkbeds room. Overall, a wonderful experience. Jill was fantastic to communicate with.

Great time!
My family and I have been going to Wells for over 15 years and this was one of the best times we have ever had. The location was perfect, right across the street from the beach and close to everything in town. The house was beautiful and very clean! You can hear the waves crashing from the master balcony deck. I highly recommend staying here!

For the price you can do WAY better
My family and I decided to do a last minute rental since we had to go to Kennebunkport for a wedding. We showed up a day late due an extended biz trip. Shortly after arriving I realized that there were NO towels anywhere. I went back online to re-read the house description AND at the VERY bottom it says that there are NO linens with the unit. Luckily, we had beach towels with us. HOWEVER, we soon learned that the owner not only does not provide towels, they do not provide SHEETS for the beds. When it is all said and done you are paying over 700$ a night for a house that is surrounded by multimillion dollar homes, NOT renting a campsite or cabin on a lake. We were so disappointment we left a day early. Basically I paid 2500$ for a one night stay.
For the price you can do way better.

Great Location
Literally a 2 min walk to the beach. Very spacious home and well equipped for our needs. Enjoyed the gas grill to cook on for evening meals. Owner easily communicated with us.Loved the outdoor shower to come back to after a day at the beach.Our 4 yr old grandson was pleased to find toys available as well. Enjoyed our long weekend with family.
