About this cottage rental

This is the most wonderful cosy get away when it is just the two of you and can be perfect for couples, a small family or friends travelling together.
We have bedroom 2 which is very comfortable with 2 single beds.
There is a small additional charge for this bedroom.
A full kitchen with combined lounge dining completes the picture.
This space is much larger than you would expect and is very relaxing and comfortable.
Country charm and relaxation wins out every time.
This is a dual key property. We have a larger option the Residence which is for extended families. Both are seperate and there are no shared spaces or car parking.

There is an interconnecting door that is locked. This has not been a problem with our guests.

We sometimes live on site in seperate accommodation and here to help if needed. We love to welcome our guests and say hi and help them enjoy all that is on offer in the Snowy Mountains.

We have a great out door screen Alfresco room with a Weber BBQ and a table setting which is put to good use in both summer and winter.

In the kitchen we provide all the staples such as olive oil, herbs & spices for cooking, pepper, salt, paper towels, serviettes, baking paper, cling film and foil.
We have an espresso machine for coffee lovers with coffee provided to get your day off to a great start!
We want to make your getaway as easy and enjoyable as possible without you having to bring everyday essentials.
Just bring the food and wine you need and everything else is here ready for you to kick back and enjoy.
For any little members of the group we have provided toys, books, games and DVD's to keep everyone entertained.
This is great for a couple, a small family or friends it is not suitable for big groups or extended families.
After a day out enjoying all that is on offer relax with a BBQ, cook up a feast on the Baby Weber Q open the wine and watch the spectacular sun set the even locals such as the friendly kangaroo family or a wombat might wander by to say hi and enjoy the sunset.

We had a great stay at the White House with Greg and Andrea hosting. Location is fab being just a 10 min drive from the skitube. The house is modern and fully stocked. The underfloor heating, fire and reverse cycle aircon was a Godsent after skiing. Beds are comfy and warm. The kitchen is fab - full of mod cons that I am used to at home. Will stay again next year

We stayed at The White House Retreat to help look after our grandkids while their parents were at a wedding at Tinkersfield. It was the perfect location and within walking distance of the wedding venue and their accommodation. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outlook is beautiful and the cottage is well appointed. The area is quiet and the heating fantastic. Would stay again if going back that way.

This Stayz has everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen and coffee machine with beans. Quite spacious with a fireplace and close to the ski tube. Thanks for having us

Loved our weeks stay during winter. Underfloor heating keeps the property warm and the wood fire is amazing to get going after a days skiing and meant we could dry our clothes each night after a day on the slopes. The grassed area was great for the kids to kick the ball around. Property had everything you could need and was in a great location for either snow fields and Jindy. We will look to return again next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Andrea's cottage. The location is excellent, 5 minutes from the ski tube. All of the amenities were great! We loved the fire, and the house felt nice and cosy during winter. It's surrounded by nature and it would be wonderful in Summer too. We cannot wait to go back!

Had a relaxing summer stay at Andrea’s White House. Property had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Helpful and easy communication with owner. Good base for day walks, being in between Thredbo and Jindabyne.

The property was very clean, cosy, warm and comfortable. Our hosts left wine and chocolate to greet us, there was plenty of wood cut for the fire, bedding was snug and the kitchen well-stocked. Can't fault our stay and Andrea had the perfect amount of communication. Thank you!

EVERYTHING physically about this property was absolutely beautiful. The location, the scenery, the well equipped kitchen, the stocked fireplace, the quality was 5*. The hosts had lovely personal touches. The ONLY negative was a sml noise problem with adjoining guests which was immediately addressed and handled.

The Retreat is a little slice of paradise. Beautifully situated, equipped and maintained... this is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. Previous reviews do make mention of the connecting door into the 'residence' which adjoins. For our first few nights, there was nobody staying in there, but there was a lovely group in there for the last night. Whilst they where no problem, I can see that a rowdy group could be. For such a quality property, I hope the owners can do more to alleviate this.

We stayed in Andreas lovely White House retreat for 3 nights. It was so clean, had so many amenities, a beautiful kitchen and a lovely scenic outdoor area. It was very private and serene. It was perfect for us commuting between Thredbo and Jindabyne for our autumn stay. Thank you Andrea for a lovely stay.

Fabulous property for a stay in the mountains. The retreat had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The property was clean, well stocked, and there were plenty of added touches to make the stay even more enjoyable. Perfectly located just a short drive from Jindabyne. Ideally placed for access to Thredbo, Perisher and Charlotte's Pass. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic house, wonderful location and brilliant kitchen. We loved watching wildlife from the porch (which has insect screens). The only downside is that the retreat shares a wall with the next property, so you are a bit at the mercy of your neighbours (ours were pretty noisy, but I think we got unlucky).

A wonderful stay at Andrea’s lovely White House. The setting is perfect, nestled amongst the gums with a glimpse of the mountains behind, kangaroos grazing on the grass outside the living room. Very cozy and comfortable with every imaginable convenience to make this a great stay. A great spot to explore the region. We will return!

Andreas retreat has a homely feel with everything at the ready for self containment. It is nicely located on a lovely country lane just a few minutes drive from Crackenback resort and 10 minutes from Jindabyne.We had a pleasant 3 nights here.

We loved the spot, easy 20 minute drive from Jindabyne, gorgeous gum trees and kangaroos chomping on the grass right outside the back door. Lovely and warm inside,comfortable beds, perfect kitchen and plenty of fire wood for the pot belly.There were people staying in the adjoining part of house and we could occasionally hear them through the common wall but it was a minor annoyance. I think it is unusual for both accommodations to be booked at same time.Would highly recommend.

Our family enjoyed 6 days at this beautiful property. We were even more impressed seeing the house in person. Fantastic layout, beautifully decorated and so comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was amazing- everything you could want to cook up a storm. The view out to the snow gums and hills beyond made this place very special. The alfresco area was a lovely place to be outside and enjoy a meal or morning coffee, watching the kangaroos hop by. Our two sons, 5 and 7 loved exploring the property, playing in the gorgeous alpine setting, drawing up treasure maps and letting their imagination run wild.It was a great base to do bushwalking in the national parks, plus plenty of other activities and attractions we didn’t get time to do but will enjoy next time!I am looking forward to returning to Andrea’s White House. In my 7 year old son’s words “this place is luxury!”
