Location was great. Close to everything but on the border of the hustle and bustle which meant it wasn't too loud nearby at night . The recommendations by the hosts were impeccable, everything we did from it was perfect including the restaurant options.
The washing machine was handy and was a really good quality machine, no concerns for damage to clothes at all. Hosts were helpful and responsive even though we didn't meet them, they were contactable via message and were friendly and prompt to answer. Size of the apartment was spacious
Unfortunately I was disappointed by a lot of this accommodation. I found the rating and reviews to be misleading and am confused as to how it is a booking.com genius property and has such high ratings.
A firm bed is one thing but the bed was as hard as a rock and the pillows were no better. No air conditioning in the bedroom, only a small unit in the living space, furthest away from the room itself.
The shower was completely impractical! Hand held shower head only which would be fine however the holder was at our waists which felt completely ridiculous and pointless. The water pressure was also extremely weak.
The stairs leading into the apartment to get to the lift were inconvenient and difficult with luggage, they were essentially the equivalent to a double story flight of stairs. If you were unfit to carry suitcases up stairs this would be a massive problem. Not to mention the lack of lighting and only having a switch for temporary lighting at the top of the stairs.

This is a 10+ for Location. There were some things this apartment could improve on (see below) but overall, it is very roomy; very clean; host was kind & responsive; and although there is room for improvement - you really benefit from it's location. Rather than drag your luggage down cobble stone streets too far - it's conveniently located in an area where you're "home and situated" in no time at all. Close to bus stops; parking; restaurants, shops; cafes, etc. It can be loud, but we like being in the middle of the action so it didn't bother us whatsoever!
We struggled with the wifi - had to go to the cafe downstairs to do some work. The shower is small considering a completely renovated bathroom. (but it's standard for Europe) Once we had no water at all - apparently that just "happens" in that area - but it was back on within 2 hours. No microwave. And one A/C unit in the living room - none in bedrooms so living room had to be cold so that bedrooms were comfortable.

Perfect! Very central, very clean and comfortable, it felt like a home away from home.
Maria was the perfect hostess, thoughtful and always eager to give us great recommendations for sightseeing and dinning!

This was a nice and spacious apartment with everything you need (just buy your own washing powder). There is a nice view of the town street and it was nice to find out there were mosquito nets over the windows and big block out curtains. Lots of treats provided upon check in. 10 star rating due to the nice and friendly hosts whom we never met but responded to every message in record time. One of the most memorable things was getting a list of recommendations prior to arriving - we visited 3 of the places on the list and they were by far the best food we ate in Corfu, and Greece for that matter. Can't thank these hosts enough. They also allowed us early check in and late check out which we really appreciated due to the heat wave. Thank you Porta Spilea, highly recommended.

Great location, good air conditioning and comfortable bed. Host had excellent restaurant advice.
Smell in the bathroom as there was unconventional plumbing that allowed sewer smell to come through. Also the floor waste was dry which also allowed smell to enter. No servicing of the room unless requested so the bins overflowed as you can’t put paper in the toilet. The host cleared the bins when requested. Also there is a long staircase up to the lift and even though the apartment description does mention lift servicing the upper floor but you need to get there first.

The apartment was set in a great location over looking the harbour area on one side and a balcony overlooking shops, restaurants and the old fortress. Despite being in the hub of town, it was quiet at night and sleep was not disturbed. The apartment was very nicely decorated, very clean and the host was very attentive to any needs.

We loved our 2 night stay at Porto Spilea Deluxe Apartment. Maria and Corina were so helpful and responsive to questions. They go above and beyond in their efforts to make your stay as easy as possible. Maria was our main contact during our stay, she was delightful and as we had a very late flight home she arranged for us to checkout later than planned and enjoy more of beautiful Corfu town as there was no one new arriving until the following day. Also being able to leave our luggage there until the evening was a god send... thank you so much Maria your thoughtfulness made our stay ❤️
The apartment was very well equipped with added treats of snacks, fresh fruit, water and cold prosecco waiting in the fridge! It was wonderfully clean and the location was perfect.
All Corina's recommendations were excellent...we particularly loved Salto, a restaurant near by.
We enjoyed opening wide the beautiful windows to let the breeze into the apartment and because of the mosquito screens we were not worried about insects coming in. There is good aircon in the living room but non in the bedrooms. We just left our windows open for some cool at night but if you dont like night noise then that could be an issue.
Thank you Maria and Corina we will hopefully be back for a longer stay in the future.

We enjoyed our time here - the location is excellent and the hosts super helpful and easy to communicate with. We loved our welcome basket and the comfortable bed in particular (though really, the location can’t be beat!)
The washer-dryer is poor. We paid several hundred Euro extra to be in a place with a washing machine because we arrived in Korfu on week 3 of a 6 week Europe Trip and desperately needed a washing machine. The quality of the washing was poor, stains were not cleaned and the dryer only dries a handful of pieces at any given time. It was a chore to make it work (especially with a toddler!) but the hosts were wonderful and tried to help out as much a possible. I would suggest to get a better machine though honestly.

The apartment is located beautifully with amazing view on the Old Town. The place was perfectly cleaned and very well equipped (like a 5 star hotel, no joke). The owner is very lovely and amazing person!

Maria was so helpful, giving us useful advice of not only where to eat and discover delicious Corfu cuisine. Her beautiful apartment has a great location at the heart of Corfu City and is very spacious, with a big balcony. There is no breakfast available at the apartment, however the host provided lots of free snacks, incl. fruits, water, tea, coffee, etc.
There is completely nothing to fault.

The check-in was very flexible, thanks a lot! The room is stellar - beautifully designed, with a beautiful view/balcony, and well equipped, even with drinks and snacks. Location is key: You truely become part of Korfu city and everything is close, it was perfect for my stay. Bring earplugs, because the streets are busy at night too. I loved this place and would have loved to stay for a long time!

Beautifully decorated and in an ideal location for the old town and only a 20 minute walk to pick up ferries etc at the port. The snacks and free refreshments are a lovely gesture. A very comfortable bed.
Maybe I did not read the details properly on Booking.com but I was expecting a studio. I would describe what we stayed in as a very well appointed ensuite room but you cannot self cater in it.
I thought the room might have been cleaned once during our 4 night stay. We did bump into someone on our final morning and at least got rid of garbage. To be fair, a clean was offered then but there did not seem much point as leaving the following morning.

We loved everything about this property. Wonderful apartment and perfect hosts. It was spacious and beautifully decorated with a classy traditional vibe. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The location was perfect for exploring Corfu town. the host recommended we visit Vidos Island just across the bay from Corfu town. This was such a special find and a lovely uninhabited island of deserted beach inlets and sparkling water. return boat transfer was just €3. The island has a beautiful restaurant, lovely food and incredible low prices with spectacular views back to Corfu town. Can’t wait to visit again and will definitely stay in Porta Spilea apartments.
Aircon in the bedrooms would have been a bonus. Good air on in the lounge area though and plenty of windows for through breeze.

Maria and her team's attention to detail and hospitality from the moment she greeted us was exceptional. The location and interior design of our room was perfect. And we appreciated the complimentary snacks and wine. It's an excellent location in a busy part of town (the pedestrianised street below can become noisy, but that's part of the experience). Excellent value for money compared to many other places in the area.

Perfect location. We could return with shopping bags throughout the day, as it was so convenient to everything. Lovely restaurants next door. The 28 October parade marched under the balcony. Friendly owners. Lift to 2nd floor. Netflix worked. Coffee machine was helpful.

The location on the apartment is amazing right at the centre of the Corfu town. We stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment with was very comfortable, clean and beautifully designed. Corina was very helpful and available for every question. Corina also provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.
As expected from such central location, there is noise coming from the street.

We were expecting an Apartment.
However, it Is rather a bed Room.
From the pictures it seemed we would have an ocean view. But it was the view towards the city.
Also, we were expecting a 24 h reception as mentioned in the description.
There is someone to welcome you.
But we needed to call in order to get to the room.

The location was excellent, walking distance to practically everywhere, the host was fantastic, when our flight was delayed she prepared lots of treats for us - fresh fruits, cheese and champagne. The apartment was very clean, and it was great to have netflix available.
I hate to be the one to break the 100% rave reviews, but this has to be said - the location is very central and thats a great thing, but the apartment isnt sound-proof. we stayed on the weekend, and friday&saturday nights the noise was really really loud. It was excrutiating and we didnt sleep half the night, people go out and drink and have fun and thats great as long as it doesnt sound like that is all happening inside your room, and untill the earli hours of the morning, which unfortunately was the case.

We loved that so many wonderful extras were made available to us: wine, water, milk, butter, fruit juice, cookies, snacks, fresh fruit, sanitizer, masks, maps and so much love and attention for the tiny details. Thanks also very much to Corinne for her incredibly useful and accurate recommendations regarding breakfast and dinner locations, museums, helpful phone numbers andy places of interest. We had breakfast at Favela 17 and dinner at Marinas Tavern, both very good choices and great value for money. The view in the morning outside our window was a real joy. We would definitely stay here again! Efharisto 👍🏼

The room and bed were comfortable. The air conditioner made a huge difference since it was very hot when we arrived in Corfu. The location is fantastic. Corina, one of our hosts, was very friendly and helpful with tips about where to eat and go not only in Corfu City but other places on Corfu as well.
