Tula was an exceptional host who made our stay memorable. Location was very nice and tucked away from the busy-ness of the Plaka area with all major sights are within 10-15 minutes walk. Apartment was cozy, comfortable and well-equipped.

Host greated us and explained everything in detail. Provided tips on the neighborhood and was very responsive to any requests and messages. Great proximity to all the central Athens attractions, without being right at the touristy spots. Excellent balance of being in the heart of Athens while being out of the typical tourist trap areas. Neuritis hills and park steps away, and tons of good and not overpriced restaurants in the neighborhood.

Great property....great location!

Location was terrific -- on a quiet street for pedestrians only -- but just a short walk from two metro stations and from main sights and sites. Felt much more like staying in an authentic Greek neighborhood than in a tourist mecca, yet tourist sites were still accessible. Loved the little garden in the front under the lemon tree. The hostess was also extremely helpful, going out of her way to meet us even though we arrived quite late at night. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. There were also many wonderful places to eat within walking distance.
I would have liked to have a microwave. On a quick trip like this I didn't have a chance to use the oven and stove for real cooking, but would have loved to have been able to buy a few items from outside and just heat them up in a microwave (and maybe eat them in the lovely garden). Everything else was perfect.

We stayed at the Traditional Thiseio Home for 4 nights and loved it. It was spacious and clean, fully equipped and full of character. Location is great and suited in a very tranquil neighborhood, just a short distance from the Acropolis.
All good

The host was absolutely lovely and caring from the beginning, she even arranged the taxi driver from and to the airport. The place was above perfect, with a great location. Moreover, the house was modern and adapted for the hot weather with a great air conditioning system. Also, the Wifi worked nicely.
I will be repeating my stay there without as doubt!

If you like walking, it is amazingly situated for walking the whole city in 3 days, in a quiet residential area.
The hosts were most accommodating and nearby local restaurants were superb and reasonably priced
Minor thought was that a microwave would have been handy

The house is at the best location of the city. Petralona is such a nice, quiet yet vibrant, local neighborbood. We loved it! The Troon Street just around the corner and the nearby Merkouri Square are very nice locations with lots of local joints to have a coffee or a meal. Also, there are bakeries and supermarkets close by.
One of the best features of the house is that you have easy access to all must sees. By foot! When you climb on the Hill of the Muses or on the Pnyx (next door!) you have an amazing view on the Acropolis. Many people go there to watch the sunset and see the light of the Parthenon change as the sun sets. On the way up, you pass by the west side of the hill with lots of ancient sites. From the house, it's a 15-20 minute walk to the Acropolis museum and an even shorter walk to the entrance of the Acropolis.
The stone house itself was a cool blessing during the 40+ degrees heat wave that was roasting the city while we were there. The beds are good and each room has AC. The house is comfortable and spacious (we are a family of 5, including 3 tweens). The outdoor area is very nice; we weren't able to use it during our stay because of the heat, but should be very nice during the less hot months. The hosts are amazing! They are very responsive and helped us with a range of questions. Thank you!!

Very nice flat with a sweet front garden in a quiet, yet central location. The area has a very local flair with lots of nice eateries. Check in/out was super easy and Gregory was a great host.
No complaints. There are a couple of dogs nearby that sometimes bark in the middle of the night - but that was just once.

The location of the Traditional Thiseio Home is fantastic. It is only 15 minutes walk to the Acropolis. You may wander through the streets around the Acropolis for hours and check all the shops, cafes, restaurants, museums, etc. In the winter most all entry tickets for the archeological sites are at half price. There are also Site-Seeing buses starting next from the Acropolis, so you may take advantage of this as well.
On Friday (27 December) much to our surprise there was a temporary Farmer's market on our street where you could buy fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, homemade wind, olive oil etc.
We had issues with the transfer from the primises to the Airport but Gregory, our host, helped here again. In fact, Gregory helped us in many ways, for which I really like to THANK him. I definatelly recomend Traditional Thiseio Home, its locatation and the helpful host Gregory.
Can't think of anything. Everything was more than expected.
