We were unsure at first as we’ve never stayed in such a remote location before. However our minds were completely changed as soon as we arrived so much so that we which we could have extended our stay. Owner was very prompt to respond when we had questions. Space was clean and all things we needed were available. We would definitely book this property again in the near future.

Adorable cabin in a secluded location! This place checked all the boxes for my husband and I along with our chocolate Lab. The large deck and shady grounds (with a fire pit!) was perfect for a couple of days away from real life. If you’re looking for a quiet spot that you’ll have all to yourself look no further! Hope to return someday to this great place just above the Buffalo River.

My family and I enjoyed our time in the cabin. The children enjoyed playing near the creek and toasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The cabin is about four miles from the highway. A lot of privacy. We loved the porch swing. The dirt driveway up to the cabin was a bit of a challenge for my mini van, but we were able to make it driving slow. It had great access to the Buffalo River.

The property is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. It's a perfect getaway for families. Honestly, there is plenty to explore around the property, and with the creek you don't even have to leave the cabin if you don't want to.

The windows of the cabin were very nice for viewing. Loved the porch swing and listening to the creek. Horseshoe Ranch Zip line is a short distance away, which my boys enjoyed. It was nice that Buffalo River runs by to get in the swimming holes.

This is our second time staying and the cabin is the perfect family get a way. The cabin comfortably sleeps 4 and is so cozy. We will be back.

The cabin is very quaint and comfortable. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The surrounding area is beautiful with the crystal clear creek. There was really only one downside and that was the gravel road leading up to the cabin - it is very rough. However, that was disclosed in the description. Just a couple of suggestions that would make it perfect. A smart TV in the living room would be great and the directions from Harrison could be a little clearer (ex: mileage from Harrison to the turn and the name of the HWY).

Our family loved our stay in your secluded cabin. We came to float the buffalo river and we also spent a full day outside the cabin just walking along the creek and enjoying a fire. We would recommend this cabin to family and friends coming to float the river or just looking to get away for a few days! Thank you ❤️

Clean and inviting cabin and we wanted for nothing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Will return!

The website mentioned the road was rough, but it’s really not suitable for cars at all. We got a flat coming in and had to call a wrecker.
Otherwise, it’s a very nice cabin.
Sorry about the keys.

A very relaxing place to just unwind. Great views, with a lot of things to see and do within a short drive. The creek in front of the cabin did not have an abundance of water, it was the right amount to have the relaxing sound of the water rolling through the rocks. The cabin was nice and spacious, with everything you would need to have a great trip. We really enjoyed our days there, and definitely see a return trip in the future.

We loved our stay. We cooked with charcoal on the park-like standard grill and used the fire pit. So bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid of grilling is your thing. The creek provided a tranquil setting and drinking your coffee on the porch swing is a must. Humming birds were buzzing about which is also fun. The bed in the primary was comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the area hiking so a comfy bed hit the spot after hiking 12 miles. The road to the cabin made us laugh a lot bc it was so bumpy, but my SUV was fine. The whole trip was about slowing down and enjoying the beautiful sights around The Buffalo River, so the road is a good metaphor for slowing down and noticing everything you see. If you want privacy, star gazing, central location, and relaxation, this is your place.

Beautiful and peaceful cabin. Very clean and fully stocked with everything you need. Bring your food and you wouldn’t have to leave. My teenagers had a blast playing in the creek. It’s so quiet and lovely. The dirt road is no joke. Give yourself extra time to get in and out, but it’s so worth it when you get to cabin. Will hopefully be back.

Everything described is completely accurate: beautiful cabin, remote location, creek running through property (my kids’ favorite part!), 4 mile dirt road (our least favorite part). We traveled it in our minivan, which was probably not wise. But we made it in and back out! Would definitely recommend truck or SUV, as is recommended in the description.

Incredible cabin if you want to get away from it all. We were completely alone in this comfy cabin. Would definitely go back. Road out to the location gets a little rough, so might not want to take your low rider. Property owner was helpful finding the property as the GPS is not accurate. Best directions, go to Pruitt Landing on highway 7 and go down the road that is opposite the landing driveway. Once you’re there, you’ll love it. Clean cabin with all of the amenities.

Our stay was great. Very secluded. The property was a fun place for my Littles to run around and play. It rained our first day, but I enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the rain. Big windows to soak it all in. The creek is really beautiful. The road is winding, steep and you go over a creek. But our awd suv handled it nicely. It was worth it to be away from other people. Would recommend, and I have already!

Wasn't far from Buffalo so we went and done some hiking and the food in town at the restaurants was great.

We've stayed in several cabins around northern Arkansas, and this cabin was by far the best one. Besides the beautiful surroundings, the cabin was the cleanest and most well-kept we've ever stayed in. I'm uncomfortable staying in places that aren't clean or don't seem clean. I was immediately comfortable the minute we walked in the door. We most certainly will go back.

If you are looking for a neighborhood, noise other than nature, or if you are traveling buy sports car keep looking. This cabin is not for you. Solitude is what you will receive here. I'm sure anyone could nit pick if they so desire, I don't have that notion at all. The cabin is 4 miles from the highway I think that it mainly consists of rock shelves, even the low water crossings are made by nature. Waze GPS took us directly to the cabin, I had already memorized the directions just in case. The cabin was perfect the host was most kind and helpful. The negative reviews i had read were obviously from "city folk" I suggest that they remain in the city. We will be back for more of what this cabin and nature have to offer.

Our family loved this place. It was very secluded and peaceful and the creek was beautiful. Our kids loved running through the creek on the way to the river. The cabin was clean and well taken care of. Everything was as expected, or better!

We simply loved the cabin very clean very nice. I couldn't believe the attention to detail the owner had everything you need there. I will definitely stay there again.

I would not go back. It is very remote in the middle of no where. There was not much to do in town We are not hiking people. The cabin was clean. Lots of bugs in the cabin, but your in the woods that’s to be expected. The bed is very uncomfortable and the pillows are flat. We had the cabin for a week we left after 2 days. We found out we don’t like remote. Give us a hotel room with tv.

Cute little cabin.Everything seemed fine til bedtime when we pulled the sheets backfound semen on bedding.Disgusting.We had to stay up late to wash it.The kitchen seems bigger than it is due to a different table in the pic.Its a tiny kitchen, not full sized stove/sink.Plenty of dishware in tons of cabinets yet no space for food due to this fact.Icemaker doesnt work. The toilet had to be cleaned each flush due to water splashing onto the seat each time.Once getting on my foot. The shower didnt drain from night onethruout stay.Washer/dryer are extremely loud so plan on washing only while gone. The beds were horrible. No matter how many toppers one adds,it will not make it comfortable. They arent queens, theyre full sized¬ one bit bigger.Shower upstairs constantly&drastically changes temps for no reason while showering. The down bath had a horrible cat spray smell.Could barely breathe while in that bathroom.&finally,i absolutely expect a few bugs while staying in a cabin but somehow we became exterminators while there. We probably killed realistically between 100-150 centipedes. We constantly heard crunching everywhere we walked. The last night we finally said screw it late night&stopped worrying with them. The next morning there were about 40 live ones all over the cabin. It was awful. We made the best of our vacation&the cabin IS pretty&the creek was wonderful but they need some MAJOR cleaning, pest control,&updating in that place for it to be worth what theyre charging.

Wonderful peaceful place for a great get away to just disconnect from society. We loved the creek, wildlife and hiking around the area. Awesome vacation.

The cabin is remote and quiet. The gravel road is rough and you have to drive slow on it. I have a small all wheel drive suv and it was fine. The setting is very peaceful and my kids loved playing in the creek and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. We did walk down the creek to the river and it took about a half hour. It was a little hard for my kids to climb over some of the rocks and obstacles but it’s doable. The inside of the cabin was rustic but nice and had pretty much everything you need. The only thing that was notable was there were a lot of bugs. Nothing the owner would be at fault for, this is the woods after all. My kids made a game of killing various spiders and tiny centipedes that they found crawling on the floor. There are lots of insects outside because this is the woods but if you are very bug adverse this probably isn’t the place for you. We had fun and would recommend it. There are good places nearby to get in the river and hangout. We liked Pruitt’s Landing and Ozark the best. Jasper is a cute little town and we recommend the Jasper Pizza Company. We also ate at Ozark cafe and it was also good.

This remote cabin was exactly what we were looking for! Not only was it clean, well stocked, and comfortable - it was so serene! We loved sitting on the porch listening to the creek, playing tag around the back of the cabin, and cooking hot dogs and having s'mores at the fire pit.
Yes, the road is rough - but it's a country road! We will take a rough road over super packed in cabins and lots of people ANY DAY!
This was the perfect landing spot for our exploring! We drove to some trailheads and hiked, had some picnics, and explored! We walked to the Buffalo River and spent a whole day there as well!
We have already looked at our calendar to find another time to come back! It was PERFECT!

The cabin was great. It was clean and cozy. We enjoyed hearing the creek water in the back ground and used the bbq grill and firepit nightly.
My only complaint is the 4 mile road to the cabin. We literally dreaded having to travel the road each day. VERY BUMPY. Good thing we had a 4x4 truck. If you are pregnant or have back and neck problems, do not book here. It’s like rock climbing to travel the road. It was so bad that I got extremely car sick. Also, don’t listen to gps.

My husband and I rented this cabin and loved it. If you want secluded this is the cabin for you. The hostess was very friendly and nice and answered all her questions we had. It’s just outside of Jasper Arkansas cute little town. We did canoeing zip lining and chased some waterfalls

We really enjoyed our stay. Make sure you contact the hosts to get directions--GPS won't take you there. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Once you hit gravel, it's about a 15-20 minute drive to the cabin.
We hiked/walked from the creek outside the cabin to the Buffalo river. The water was low and that took us about 20 minutes. The creek takes you to the river near a public campground, so don't be surprised to see others there when you arrive at the river.
The cabin itself was great--we enjoyed the porch swing, fire pit, and well stocked kitchen. We stopped for firewood on our drive in, but we didn't need to. There was plenty of wood available for us at the cabin.
Highly suggest staying here for a quiet time away.

Nice cabin with lovely creek views from all sides of the house. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. They supplied wood for fire which was a nice touch. The drive in was fairly simple with a 4x4 truck. The location is great with easy access to buffalo river nearby and Ozark National forest. The only slight bummer was the landscape crew and cleaner came early on our last day before checkout so we felt rushed to get out of there. Overall, though, great experience.

The second time we rented the same 2 bedroom cabin. It’s like our own little getaway in the valley. Very remote & quiet with a bridge entry over a bubbling brook. We wade in the shallow creek that flows under the bridge entry & on down the near the country road. 2 bedroom 1upstairs 1 down. 2 bathroom, a cozy livingroom, laundry & a kitchen with large window overlooking the creek. Serene & quiet with no passing cars.
