About this house rental
NEW LISTING!!! This custom built 2002 spacious private home has the "WOW" factor, with a large open concept in the kitchen, dining and living rooms including a large Trex deck the length of the house, along with 3 master bedroom suites with king beds. It sits on an acre with 200 feet of waterfront with a concrete retaining seawall with sidewalk, large lawn with mature landscaping. Located on shallow Polson Bay, just 6 minutes from Polson, it is a perfect location for small weddings, anniversary and birthday celebrations, social and quilting meetings plus family gatherings of all kinds.
This home has high ceilings, a guest pantry room, a unique little kids playroom, 2 sets of most appliances, along with a large laundry room/mud room and a sun room (breakfast nook).
WOW-why is it called that; because that is the usual comment when entering through the front door with its open living area that has gabled wood plank ceilings, a bridge between the 2 loft areas, large windows-all equal a casual but relaxing decor. Home has air conditioning + ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms. So bring your boat, snorkel equipment, water toys and enjoy. Simply put = it is a nice place for nice people. Sorry no smoking and no pets.
There is a separate studio apartment with it's own entrance, two queen beds, small kitchenette, bathroom, and a pull out couch. Great area for newlyweds or a small family wanting their own space.
Polson has scheduled activities throughout the year, but the sweet cherry harvest does top it all. Nearby to the north is Glacier National Park and to the south is the National Bison Range, with the majestic Mission Mountains to the east, with beautiful westward sunsets. Flathead Lake is the largest natural fresh water lake west of the Mississippi River. Come and Enjoy the many tings Western Montana has to offer.
"Wow" House sleeps 14 (3 king, 3 queen, 1 hide-a-bed) but has lake space for motor homes, campers or tents. Please limit all overnight guests to 20.
This property offers monthly rates on the off season (Oct 1 - April 1). Please send an inquiry for the dates requesting and we will let you know the monthly rate.

Beautiful home with outstanding views of the lake. We really enjoyed our stay at the Wow House. Plenty of room. Kitchen appliances were awesome. Easy access to drop off our kayaks. Would stay again.

Rental was clean and well stocked. Location is great. Everything was sufficiently provided. Lots of room in the house and outside on the deck.

The house is spacious and perfect for large groups. Can’t beat having double appliances! The lakeview from the deck is gorgeous and we enjoyed swimming by the dock. What a lovely place to relax!

Amazing week at Flathead lake. House had everything we needed and large enough for the entire family.

The house and location was excellent. The landscaping was terrible and there were no cushions for the outdoor furniture.

We use this house every year for our golf trip. Eight guys for the weekend and it is always enjoyable. The house is always in great shape and the new deck is awesome. Best views of the lake and mountains.

I had 3 siblings and their spouses come from 3 different states for a reunion. We were all so impressed with the Wow House. This house is equipped with everything you might need and is such a beautiful home. The kitchen is a dream.
We all decided we would like to come back to this property again some day.

We were in town for our son's wedding and this house definitely exceeded our expectations! It is large and spacious, plenty of room for families to spread out and have their own space. The double appliances were a God send and the house is overstocked with every pan, bowl, cooking utensil you could ever need. Not to mention multiple coffeemakers, coffee grinder, crockpot... I could go on and on! Not to mention the view and HUGE, brand new deck for all your entertaining needs, sunrise coffee and sunset cocktails. We will definitely rent this one again! 5 star for sure!

Stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it immensely. Had everything we needed. Loved the view from the gorgeous Deck. Was disappointed that water level of lake was low which meant we had to launch boat at public launch in Polson, but that's not property owner's fault. Very quiet, not far from Polson. PERFECT!

Wonderful house and location, but would have made a difference to us if we had known that the lake was essentially unusable. Lake level down so far the water was inaccessible, so no swimming, floating, boating possible.

We loved spending time on the lake during the day and enjoyed the amazing deck in the evening. We took out paddleboards and kayaks to see gorgeous views and the kids enjoyed trying out snorkeling. We got to enjoy the best of Flathead Lake like the cherries and Wild Horse Island while also getting to go up to Glacier.
There was a ton of spaces for our various families to split up to sleep while still gathering in the beautiful living/dining room and deck. We got to see lots of birds and even had a doe and her fawns come through the yard one evening. My boys also loved the double shower and the comfy couches.

Spacious and large number of beds and baths to accomodate a big gathering. Always wonderful to stary here.

This is an absolutely lovely home and apartment above the garage. It is well equipped with everything you could possibly want for cooking, social time, screen time (and for us, a high chair and a pack 'n play) for time away from home. Great little kids nook; really comfortable beds; lovely view of lake. And the bedrooms are really quiet for sleeping, with great mattresses. Though our group wasn't very large, this home can accommodate large groups easily. Plenty of parking space for many cars.
Though a delayed new deck construction project made the deck unavailable to us (and it should be absolutely fantastic when finished), the owners worked with us on an agreeable solution.

The house itself was as advertised (large, clean) and we enjoyed it very much. However, as two previous guests also noted in their reviews, the outdoor areas need some work. The deck is currently a construction site and entirely unusable. There is CAT construction equipment and materials located on the property. The grounds manager who stopped by indicated that the deck has been under construction for over a year. We brought our own lawn furniture and set it up by the picnic tables by the water, and had a nice time in that shady spot.

This was a beautiful house in a beautiful setting, with plenty of space, inside and out. The house was very well stocked and loved having 2 ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, dining room tables and 6 bathrooms!!!! Perfect spot for a large family gathering. Would love to stay again sometime. Only thing missing was a snow shovel!! LOL
Thank you Nicole!

Spacious, well equipped house. Master bedrooms afford privacy. Common areas accommodated us nicely. There were 9 of us and we appreciated having double appliances.

All great except for inability to use tv. Owner requires customer to have streaming service.

To enjoy the beautiful flathead lake, it's perfect !!!!! House is large with lots of room and baths 😊😊. House is pretty well stocked and clean but bring bath soap, saran wrap and tin foil. My only real concern was the deck, lack of lighting (potlights all burnt out but one) and very few
and sad cushions for the deck furniture. Bring your own lawn chairs. The deck needs a good pressure wash. We all had a wonderful time, thank you. Do heed the warnings on the slippery boat launch = one fractured foot !

Ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with bowls, etc. there was a broken window in the kitchen that we put tape over as it was jutting out and someone could have easily cut themselves on it. We were also worried that if someone bumped it , it would have shattered. A real hazard. The lawn wasn’t mowed and full of weeds. I had to email the manager about both issues. A lawn service came the next morning but it should have been done before we arrived. Other than the lawn and window everything was perfect. Everyone had a great time. Bring your own water toys. The dock and water was a great place for everyone to swim and hang out. Beautiful view of the lake.

The house is very large and had more than enough room, both inside and out to accommodate our group. The proximity to the lake was great. It’s close enough to Polson that if you needed anything, it was a short drive. Everyone enjoyed this property.

This property worked out very well for us. We had 10 kids and grandkids that participated in the Spartan event. We turned this into a mini-vacation and also spent some time at Glacier National Park. The lake water level was low but was rising a lot every day. We had a few brave souls that actually dipped in the lake but it was cold! For a group our size this house was wonderful! Two sets of washers, dryers, fridges and a kitchen that was very big and user friendly. Plenty of hot water and everything was in good shape and clean.

This is a simply delightful home on a spectacular lot on Flathead lake. We had our whole family staying here for a wedding and we all had a BLAST! Close to town, beautiful sunsets, warm water and plenty of space. Thank you to Nicole for her swift responses to any and all questions. Great Stay!!!!

This is a lovely home and a wonderful place to hold a family reunion. The kitchen has two refrigerators, two ovens, and two dishwashers which made entertaining a large group fairly easy.
The large pantry and laundry room were two huge benefits.
While the deck is large, the lack of cushions on the chairs and shade from the afternoon sun, made entertaining out there almost obsolete. Thankfully, the large yard near the lake provided a wonderful flat and shaded outdoor space. * Be sure to bring some camping chairs with you.
My mother, who uses a walker, was able to safely stay here for a week. She had the master bedroom on the main floor. The master bath has a handicap rail near the potty and a grab rail in the shower. She used the side entrance to enter and exit the home, as there are no stairs. If she wanted to go down by the water, the long driveway allowed us to drive her and drop her off and pick her up.
The property manager, Nicole, was pleasant and responded quickly when needed.
I would highly recommend this home to my family and friends. It is a fantastic property with lots of indoor and outdoor space and amenities. We are hoping to rent this home again in the future.

I always try to leave complete reviews for the next VRBOers. So here it goes: This property was just absolutely amazing. We had a group of 16 and it was perfect. We had one camper for 2 of our family and that was just what we needed. There was even a plug in down by the water for the camper!
House - spectacular and clean and well stocked with spices and pots, pans, tupperware, even some tinfoil. Very spacious and comfortable
Beds - nice and comfortable
Temperature - has AC and it works well.
Fridges- 2 very large refrigerators with all the ice you could ever need. VERY clean.
Deck - large and accommodating. Some issues with some decking coming up and is a minor trip hazard if you have some older folks. I'm older.. I tripped. :( Plenty of chairs.
Towels: Plenty of clean beach towels. (need some washrags for the upstairs apartment)
Yard - Well kept; however, there is a significant thistle issue so if you have barefoot family. Make SURE that they wear their shoes in the yard. Our 4 year old grand niece got stickered and was pretty upset.
Parking - PLENTIFUL and really well thought out!
Water: We stayed in late July and the water was very nice and warm. Flathead lake CANNOT BE BEAT!
Dock: The dock is in good shape; however, if you are keeping a boat there is no real docking place. NO BUMPERS AND NO TIE OFFS and it is pretty shallow coming in. Make sure you have your own multiple larger bumpers. You can tie off on the deck itself.
Location: Saved the best for last. You cannot beat the location! We would stay again in a heartbeat but it was booked out already! Thank you for a wonderful Ingold Family Retreat.

Second year we have stayed. Perfect location, love having bathrooms for each bedroom. Specious well equipped bedrooms. It does need more comfortable sleeping pillows for bedrooms. Would definitely stay there again when available!

We went for my brother’s bachelor party and couldn’t have asked for anything further. Nicole was very responsive to questions I had ahead of time, the house had plenty of sleeping space for our larger group, huge deck, massive backyard, right on the water.
I’ve already told several friends and family about the spot as must-do!

This location was a perfect getaway celebration for retirement! Although dated, the home itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed for guests of all ages. Having bedrooms with deck access is a big bonus, and every room is spacious. The lakefront area with cement ramp, long dock, and picnic tables also provided a perfect space for 2 RV's and a portable fire pit. However, even with the million-dollar view, the outside property is falling into disrepair. The drive-through at the front door (first impression) was littered with pinecones, a decomposed robin, and weeds are everywhere. The expansive lawn is being overtaken by thistle and clover. The bushes and trees have dead branches needing attention. The deck, center of outdoor feasting and conversation, is bowed, needs a good scrubbing, and holds furniture in disrepair or missing cushions. The arbor has fallen. Flower pots hold dirt only. With the inside space well-cared for, the potential for greatness currently lies in the upkeep of the outdoor space.

House had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, Kitchen was great for multiple people, back deck had a perfect view of the lake. Only complaint is the AC took a while to kick in and didnt get the upstairs cool.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is spacious, with en-suite baths for guest privacy while having a large great room with a well appointed kitchen. The property managers were prompt with answering our inquiries and meeting our needs.

I highly recommend this home. It is a spectacular location and plenty of room for the whole family and friends.. Fabulous appointed kitchen and very comfy beds! Great place for large groups.

The house and location were perfect! The only downside is that while there is a dock for a boat, there is NOT a boat launch. We spoke to the neighbor who said they have watch many vacationers try to figure out how to get their boat in the water, but it is just too shallow. You have to drive to the public boat launch about 10 minutes away.
