About this villa rental
This beautiful three-bedroom villa wth accompanying cottage is set within flowering gardens overlooking our famous down Island ocean view. A tiled walkway escorts you from the private gated drive way to the double door entry and into the living room that has expansive views. The living room is elegantly furnished with a pleasing blend of cushioned West-Indies furniture, mahongany, and island themed pieces. This cozy room incorporates a living area with a large flat screen TV, Blue-Ray DVD player and wi-fi music system. There are lots of games and puzzles, a home-office area with a Wifi router and computer/printer, a dinning aea both inside and out. The house is filled with lots of windows and glass sliders for a light, airy ambiance. However, there is a central air conditionier for those days with no breeze. The very well-equipped and laid out kitchen adjoins the living room’s dinning area divided by an island with bar stools.
Glass sliders open from the front of the living room onto the expanse of a covered deck and views which overlook the Atlantic, Hans Lollik island, and the famous down-island views of various islands where the Atlantic meets the Carribean. A large gazebo by the pool is another wonderful spot for shady, relaxing meals on sun-kissed days. The open deck borders the entire seaward-facing side of Sun Rose leading back to the pool area for soaking up the sun on chase loungers and andriondack chairs for reading, cotail conversaton, or just gazing at the mesmerizing marine views. This deck leads to the private cottage. The cottage, that houses a queen bed, completes with the master bedroom for grand views of both ocean and out and outback garden beauty. This romantic is decorated in the mystical theme of mermaids and of love, it too is air-condioned for your comfort.
Back inside Sun Rose da hallway leads to three beautfully decorated bedrooms. The master bedroom/bath completes the beauty of this home. This majestic suite boasts a romantic four-poster king bed, glass slidder doors which access a private deck with immaculate views, with a private bath, so you can shower and still enjoy the view. The second bedroom holds a queen bed that has been nicknamed the “Turtle Room”. The third bedroom’s decoris made specially for kids with fun marine scenes and host tow twin beds. In this hallway there is also a second bathroom with a beautifuly tiled shower.
Back outside there are stairs leading down the walk-out basement. First you will pass an outdoor shower to wash off the sand from the beach or if youjust perfer to shower overlooking the ocean. This leads to another expansive covered deck that surrounds you with foliage. This deck leads back to the drive way and a covered storage area that holds beach chairs, snsorkel gear, and general beach items. Indoors there is a bathroom/studio with a twin bunk bed and connecting half bath that includes a washer and dryer.

Villa Sun Rose was beautiful and relaxing. My husband, mother-in-law, and three kids came to St. Thomas for a wedding and had the most wonderful time. The house was spacious and had everything that we needed for cooking, grilling, going to the beaches, and enjoying the amazing views. We could have spent everyday exploring the island but instead chose to stay at the house for a few days just relaxing and enjoying the pool. The pool was the perfect size and the pictures of that view could not do it justice. The house was so quiet and secluded that it was a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the resorts around Red Hook and Charlotte Amalie. The Mermaid Cottage was perfect for my mother-in-law. And, there is a bathroom for that cottage that I wasn’t sure would be there from the description. Lou communicated with us throughout this process and was wonderful to work with. Josephine, the housekeeper, was patient with us when we arrived at the airport to pick up our vehicle, then took us to a market to get groceries. Overall, I would give this property and the experience a 10/10. I will most definitely be staying here again when we come back to St. Thomas and recommending it to my clients.

We’ve stayed on the island before but this time around we were looking for something more private but still close to Magens bay/food/shopping and this location checked all of our boxes! The property owner met us at our car rental area and escorted us to the property as well as gave us a walkthrough of the property as soon as we got to the island! Would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed 10 days for Carnival and had a wonderful time. The property manager was great, communication with the owners was easy.
All of the rooms and the cottage was perfect for a family of 7. I highly recommend Lou’s place. We come to the island every year for carnival an this was the best accommodation.

Other than some wildlife joining us (never unexpected on trips like this though) on our first night, our stay was wonderful. We wanted to stay in a quiet location that was still convenient to everything that St. Thomas has to offer. Villa Sun Rose really delivered. Most of the time, it feels like you've got the entire island to yourself.
We had a terrific stay and enjoyed time at the house and of course the expansive views. Pictures will never do justice to the view and the feeling of calm you get from gazing out beyond the nearby islands, across the breeze swept water. We did venture out the sights, found some adventures, and soaked up some sun. Magen's Bay is very close and is deservedly one of the main attractions on the island.

I went to St.Thomas with my husband, 10 year old daughter; and my parents. We had the pleasure of staying at this property and wow what a great experience! The location is amazing. We didn't have any issues with driving or roads as we have been to St.Thomas before. Waking up to the AMAZING views everyday and just coming back after the beach to just hang out was amazing. There were nights we just stayed in and enjoyed the views and sounds of the nature. Lou waa awesome! He answered promptly and I had no communication issues. I highly recommend this location!

First off let me say how great of a time we had on St. Thomas. Our family used this Villa Sunrose as home base for adventures around the island. Check in was smooth and we were able to be met at the airport and escorted back to the property (with a grocery stop along the way!).
It was a very hot week, so the ocean breezes, while nice didn't quite do the job during the day. The split units in the primary bedroom and the cottage were the main respite from the heat. During the week the one of the screens came off its frame and others where separating. This led to the lots of mosquitoes getting inside. After emailing Lou, he was able to get someone out to fix them the following day. There was also something going on with the pool. The first day we used it but after that it wasn't looking good. The pool guy was there twice, but it never looked too clean. Either way we probably would have been in it since we were at the amazing beaches so much. Only other gripe might be that the deck has some screws sticking up...made me nervous that my kids were going to gash a toe open.
Apart from those hiccups, the property has the MOST AMAZING VIEWS. I enjoyed spending some late afternoons sitting on the deck and watching boats go by. The roads to get there are no joke, but you get used to it after a few days. The house is off the beaten path, but not far away from anything. We really had a great time!

The house was everything we hoped for, the sunrise’s are amazing, Mr C met us at the airport and we followed him to the house, he gave us a tour and ins and outs of the house, we did a lot of beach hopping, the house is 5 minutes from Megan’s bay, and less then 25 minutes from any other beach on the island. It took us about two days to get use to the roads, the drive to get to the house is a little crazy! If I had anything bad to say is the pool is a little small, big enough to get in and get wet though, with Megan’s down the road you don’t really need a pool. Take advantage of the amenities, like chairs, coolers, and snorkeling equipment, we were there for our honeymoon and it was amazing. Already planning a trip back with our adult kids.

Overall I believe that Villa Sunrose is amazing, especially if you have a need for 3 - 4 bedrooms and like to be near Magans Bay for a very short drive to it. The owner and property manager are excellent communicators. It is spacious and clean. I have to say that the property is in need of some TLC and basic upkeep. Smoke detectors not all attached, some lights and batteries missing from some remotes, window cranks broken and AC has much to be desired. Again, value to dollar and friendliness of owner cannot be matched.

The home is set on the side of a hill. Beautiful sunrises every morning. The villa is surrounded by lush gardens. We loved the home. The host was great. The property manager met us at the airport and we followed him to the villa. He told us what we needed to know and was very helpful. We had a great trip.

The location and privacy of the house is perfect. Magen's is 5 min away and other great beaches are within 15-20mins. The house has everything you need to cook, enjoy the pool and beaches. The house and property are beautiful. As a former resident of St. Thomas it felt like I was living there again. Definitely planning on staying here again.

This is a beautiful property with amazing views. The owner was quick to respond with questions during the booking process and provided updates throughout our stay. Even the people he hired to take care of various things around the property were so kind and fun to talk to. Mr. C met us at the airport and gave us a run down when we arrived which we greatly appreciated!
The driveway is kind of tight (like a lot of the roads) but we rented a highlander so that might have something to do with it. We adapted and it all worked out.
We loved every second of our trip and look forward to returning!!

The views from this property are simply amazing. Location was fantastic, away from the hustle of town, very quiet/safe neighborhood. House was clean, check in was simple, communications with owner was excellent. Plenty of room for our party of 6 to spread out or come together. Having the property manager, Mr. C, escort us to the villa was a great bonus as the roads in St. Thomas are vastly different than the US, but you get used to it. Overall, we would recommend this property to anyone.

This house was awesome for our stay. Pretty much everything we needed. Although, No drinking water hookup. The house just could have been a lot cleaner_ dishwasher didn't work. & there is no hot water in the kitchen. Other than that we enjoyed all the other amenities. Thanks!

What a great property! The views from the Villa are awesome. If private is what you're looking for, look no further. There is no direct line of sight to any other home while giving an unobstructed view of Hans Lollick and BVI's. Villa is located very close to the beach, Utter Delight and Brooks bar. If there is a downside, it would only be the distance to Red Hook for shopping and dining. Owner and property manager were very receptive to all of our needs. Very much recommend this property if St. Thomas is your destination of choice!

My family and I, including 4 adults and 3 small kids, stayed at villa sun rose recently for a truly unforgettable vacation. The views from every part of the home are breathtaking. We felt at ease as soon as we arrived — Both Lou and Mr. C were very easy to get in touch with. The house had plenty of space for our two families and the pool was perfect. We rented cars which is pretty necessary given the location. Driving took a bit to get used to but once we were comfortable it was an easy drive down to Magens Bay — which is such a fun and beautiful beach experience. We would absolutely love to rent this space again and hope to return in the future!

Villa Sun Rose was everything we hoped for! First time to St. Thomas and this home was FABULOUS! Wonderful views of the island, excellent amenities (including beach supplies and snorkeling equipment), fun bonuses like outdoor showers, and privacy. We felt safe and relaxed. Great views and wonderful communal space
We had an overall enjoyable stay at this property, though did experience some hiccups. First, the pictures do not do justice to the views, which are truly phenomenal. The breeze is wonderful and allows you to sleep at night with windows open and no air conditioning. The layout and communal spaces in this property allow for a very enjoyable and relaxing time together. The kitchen is one of the most well-stocked rental property kitchens we have used. We regret that we had some cleanliness issues on checkin. The host tried his best to address it, and while it was not able to be fully addressed we did appreciate his communication. We also feel that while the external views underestimate just how amazing it is, the property itself has some aspects that are significantly more dated than visible in pictures and would benefit from maintenance or renovation, especially the bathrooms, showerheads, well-used kids beds, problems w electrical/lighting in kitchen area, landline phones that don’t work consistently (we did not have cell service). We had a couple hiccups with gate access and construction of a shower door during our stay which caused some headaches, and we recommended these issues be ironed out before guest arrival or between guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay because of the views and communal space.

We had an amazing week staying at this home. We are familiar with St Thomas so didn’t really think that we would need assistance getting to the home and we were so glad that they met us at the airport!

Spectacular view
Lou’s home was wonderful, the view was incredible, really couldn’t ask for more. The house had all the amenities and space our family of 7 might need, in a very safe and comfortable environment. Lou’s communication was excellent and he shared lots of insightful information with us about the island. The house manager, Mr C was equally helpful, getting us to the house on our first night and showing around the home. Both Lou and Mr C we’re quick to get us a new microwave when the existing one quit working and we’re very attentive. Great experience!

Villa Sunrose is breathtaking. Easy booking with amazing hospitality from all. Definitely need a rental car on St. Thomas so it was awesome to follow Mr. C to the villa when we arrived at first. Beautiful place inside and out. Gorgeous views of sunrise and all day in November when we stayed. Check in and out was easy. The house is beautiful and maintained. Most of our party were first-time island goers and couldn't be happier with our choice. 20 minutes or less from anything on the island, we went everywhere! A must stay!

Perfect Vacation
The property was beautiful up on a hill top with amazing views. The home was super clean, and equipped with everything we needed for our 2 week stay. The cottage was adorable and offered great views as well as being right next to the pool and amazing outdoor shower. The beds were super comfortable, we loved the open, airy feeling of this beautiful home. Lou was very accommodating and available for any questions I had. We were five women in paradise and would love to return tomorrow if we could.

We had such a fabulous time at Villa Sunrose! It is an incredible property, with the most breathtaking views. And such a short drive to Megan’s Bay. The house was furnished and decorated beautifully with everything we could possibly need. Plenty of room for everyone. Woke up with the feeling of being in paradise every morning. We will definitely have Villa Sunrose on our list for another stay.
