Me my wife and 17 year old son stayed here for 8 days. The house was perfect. The beds are very comfortable. The AC in every rooms keep it nice and cool. Ice maker in the fridge. The front deck was perfect for setting out and enjoying the breeze and taking in the view. The location close to George Town makes it nice to run to town for groceries or Julien's BBQ!! (which is the best BBQ on the island!!) Overall very pleased with the house and location!! We will be staying here again!

We stayed in Exuma at Michele and Willy’s for 3 nights. We absolutely loved it! We traveled with our young 6 and 8 year old children. The property is on a hill, and just as other reviews said, it is best if you rent a vehicle to get around the island and I suggest making sure it is a Jeep (lots of potholes). We spent a lot of time at Jolly Hall beach and we also ordered take-out food from Splash Restaurant and Bar at the Hideaways property (which is just down the hill). There’s also grocery stores a short drive away, where we got our breakfast supplies. It was excellent to have Willy as a contact as he was available and quickly responded to our questions. Thank you very much Willy and Michele!

The rental was exactly as described and pictured. It id located at the top of a hill and the road up to it is very rough. The view of the water was amazing. Its a 7 min walk to Jolly Hall.
We spent a lot of time there and used the beach chairs provided. Groceries are very expensive, plan accordingly. The host was very accommodating of anything we needed. We enjoyed our stay here.

It was a very nice day and the owners were great people I have one suggestion if you rent this property make sure that you rent a Jeep because the road going to the property is not meant for cars but other than that everything is perfect

We had a busy but relaxing stay in Exuma. Willy and Michele were prompt with any needs that arose. The location of Elizabeth was convenient to all local attractions. We’d stay again at the Villa Elizabeth when we return.

Great location great value. Access road needs significant repair. SUV or large tire vehicle required to access driveway or you will bottom out. Overall great experience.

The home sits on a hill and has the best view. The view from the porch never gets old and you get caught just looking at the water. Most beautiful water I’ve ever seen!
The home is comfortable, beds are great and it’s centrally located on the island. I would rent this place again without hesitation.
Wonderful experience!

We stayed for 6 nights. Willy responded quickly to one minor issue we had and everything was great all week. The place has a beautiful view. The location is central to most activities. The kitchen has everything you need, beds were comfortable, and the price was very reasonable.

We had an excellent time staying here. An easy walk to Jolly Hall beach where we spent much of our time. We went without a rental car and did plenty of walking. Willie arranged an excellent driver, Omar, for us. He gave us a great tour of the island.
The house is very nicely furnished and things are in working order. As a couple, we were very comfortable here. A family would be also, as there is plenty of space.
Thank you, Michele and Willie for an excellent stay.

Our new home away from home
This home was perfect and spacious for our family of four. The location was perfect - Jolly Hall Beach was our favorite spot and you can easily walk to it. The view was incredible and the large covered deck was a great place to sit and enjoy it! Michele and Willy were great hosts. We will definitely come back!

Michelle's home is amazing! The furnishings are just as pictured. Home is very well maintained and very comfortable. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.
She provided coolers and umbrellas for those that didn't bring them which was a very nice touch.
The location of the property is perfect. About a 15 minute drive from GGT and very close to Georgetown, the marinas, and grocery stores. It is a nice spot since it is fairly centrally located for Little Exuma and Great Exuma destinations.
I would highly recommend staying here. A gentleman named Willy maintains the property and greeted us with the key. He is a local Bahamian who knows the island very well and is willing to give you ideas of things to see/visit and is a phone call away if you need anything.

Our stay was wonderful at Michele and Willy's rental! Willy made the checkin and checkout a breeze and answered any questions we had and gave us some great tips on places to visit while we were there. The view is phenomenal, with a short walk to the beach and local bar, and only a 10 minute drive from the main strip in George Town. When we come back to Great Exuma we will definitely look to stay here again!

TLDR: If you want a reliable place to stay in Exuma, this is the place to stay. I’ve read some bad stories from other guests and many places have not recovered from the pandemic. 100% solid.
The UGLY
Dirtiest part I experienced was some of the dishes had marks indicating poor cleaning of the dishes. I personally observed forks, and cups that were found to still have dried food on them. Another dirty experience I had was on the night we arrived I felt some sand at the foot of our bed. I arrived on Exuma at 8pm and was too late for me to feel safe enough on the first night to go down to the beach, so the sand was from a prior guests stay. Did this bother me? A little but not really. Someone else it might, so I have to mention
The BAD
My wife has dust allergies and turning on the fan made them significantly worse. I personally wasn't affected by the dust, but I would be remiss to not mention the experience of my wife, whose 30th birthday we were celebrating. After the 3rd day of insufferable allergies in the morning, I opened up all the windows and tried to vent out the room while also not using the fan. We left it open for about half a day and that seemed to fix it. I would recommend the same if any of your loved ones go visit this fine home in Exuma Island.
The GOOD
Where do I begin? The hostess was good at providing instructions on how to access her home. At my request, she got her home maintenance manager Willy to purchase a cake and flowers for my wife’s 30th birthday. Willy even got a single balloon with some tape to stick it to the wall! The cake, we ate almost every day we were there, storing it in the refrigerator, and heating it up in the microwave. I mean, cmon, now that’s hella fine service! And Willy, as promised by all these reviews, is a kind human being who was very helpful. The sunflower was wilted and halfway shriveled by the time my wife got to it, but she really did appreciate my effort in trying, and at the end of the day, that’s all I really care about. Rent here because the owners give a damn, and they try their best to provide good service. While you’re here, make sure you do business with Robert’s Island Adventures, impeccable service and you can find them on social media to book em. They’ll pick you up right from the hideaways bar. And the bar on the beach there is fabulous if you miss American food! Otherwise hit up the fish district down the street where Shirley’s fish fry is to try more local cuisine.

My husband and I have been to Exuma 15 times and we loved Villa Elizabeth. It's convenient to 3 different markets and Georgetown. And somehow we had never known about Jolly Hall Beach (right down the street) - a true gem! The kitchen had everything you could want for making meals. Plus a washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Lots of hot water for showers. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and spacious. The wifi was strong. Willie was very helpful and brought us more gas for the grill. The view of Stocking Island was just so calming. We loved this house

Everything was amazing and just as described. Beds were ridiculously comfortable...Place was spotless and well stocked with kitchen supplies. I would definitely stay here again. When we arrived at our place Willy was there to greet us. The only problem we had was that there were no directions getting to the place. We were very fortunate to have had friends who were staying in the area who checked out where the place was before hand and graciously met us at the airport. If it wasn't for that...we never would have found it. The walk to the beach was a little further but I had a bad knee and we could easily drive. All in all...this was our best vacation yet!!! Thank you for the incredible place...Oh..and the view...the view is to die for. 🥰

Ahhhhhhhhhhh Exuma.....
When we write a review of a property, we try to be as fair and honest as we can be. That having been said, here goes!
When we booked our vacation to Great Exuma, we did it without ever having been to the island or without having heard very much about it at all. It just looked like a place to go and chill for a bit - a place to escape the madness that is the rest of the world right now. We were not disappointed! The island, although very rustic with regard to infrastructure, was one of the most relaxed and mellow places we've ever experienced (and we've been all over the Caribbean). Part of what made it so great was the home we stayed in.
When we checked in, Willy was there to greet us and let us in. He answered every single one of our questions and gave us great recommendations with regard to where to shop, what beaches to go to, etc. Midweek he came back to make sure that we had no questions and that our stay was going well. A great resource and a really nice guy! Michelle was also in contact and also gave fabulous recommendations for dining!
The house was, in a word, perfect! Extremely clean, beautifully furnished and views to die for! Although this home is not located directly on the beach, DO NOT let that deter you - the views are breathtaking and it was literally a 3 minute walk to the water and maybe, maybe an additional 5 minute walk down that beach to Jolly Hall Beach (one of the most spectacular beaches on the island)! The beds were ridiculously comfortable, the towels thirsty and the kitchen outfitted with everything you would need if you chose to cook at home! It's conveniently located not far from the airport and close to Georgetown for easy food/liquor shopping.

Great location for exploring Exuma
This was our first trip to Exuma so we wanted to location that would allow us to explore a bit. This property is really well located -- about 15 minutes south of the airport and just north of Georgetown. We rented a car and checked out a different beach each day. The view from the deck can't be beat! Very close to Prime Meats and Smitty's markets if you plan to do your own shopping, and across the street from Splash Bar and Grill if you don't. Jolly Hall Beach is very close (recommend driving - we walked once and without a shoulder on the road and with a few wild dogs around the car felt safer). Hooper's Bay was very close too - maybe 8 minute drive. The house was spotlessly clean, and well designed for a beach house - ceiling fans (as well as AC) in every room, tile floors, great hot water, sliding doors looking out at the view. In places it is showing its age - the appliances all worked but could use an upgrade and there's some plaster/paint touchups needed - nothing a morning with a handyman couldn't fix. Everything from pots and pans to dishwasher packets was there in the kitchen, which was nice.
Check in was the only thing that was not great - there's no sign on the house identifying it, and Willy, the caretaker, was off island, so his wife was supposed to meet us. She was inside, and we weren't positive we were at the right house. I tried both Michele and Willy to figure out if we were in the right place. Neither responded, and we were left to wander around a bit before she came outside and we connected. Willy got back and checked in with us on day 4, but since we were leaving on day 5 it wasn't really helpful. I'd recommend double-checking that a point-of-contact will be on island during the whole stay. If we'd run into any issues with customs, etc we wouldn't have had anyone on island to confirm our reservation.
