Excellent Apartment & Location
Anna's apartment is exactly as listed in the ad. We had everything that we could have wanted. The area is busy but safe at all hours. The EL (subway) is approx. a 10-15 minute walk and we felt safe at all hours day or night. The 24 hr grocery across the street is well stocked and reasonably priced. The stairs are steep and could be a challenge at the end of a long day. We would definitely stay here again when visiting NYC.

the apartment was perfect for our visit to NYC. everything was very clean, the furniture and decor was good. many shops and restaurants, including the subway, are within walking distance. We felt very comfortable and safe as guests there. the contact with Anna was perfect. We would book this apartment again, is highly recommended. thank you Anna

Great place for family to stay
We stayed here from 7/24 to 7/31. We spent most of our time site seeing and not too much time on the property. It was in a safe neighborhood and close to the subway. There were places to eat close by and grocery stores across the street. We had a grea time and would stay here again!!

Great location
This apartment was great for our stay. The Subway station is close. There is a grocery store across the street. Tons of restaurants and bakeries. Loved the neighborhood! The only draw back is the noise. Being so close to all of the fun is really noisy. There was construction noise overnight one night. Horns honking early. You get used to it. It’s New York!!!! I would stay here again!!!

Great apartment
My family was very pleased with the apartment. Exactly as described! Only complaint is if you are a pillow person like me, bring a couple extra. The location was excellent! Close to Subway and plenty of food choices. Our favorite was the King of Falafel & Shawarma for dinner and the Parisi Bakery for sweets.

The apartment is big , clean,very confortable for 4 people with everything that we need . There is a supermarket at the corner of the street and also other shops and restaurants. The subway is 5 minutes by steps and 6 stops of subway from times square.
the neighborhood is nice the only negative point is the noise of the street during the night.

Great Stay
Great location we were very comfortable. The apartment was fully stocked and clean. It was very nice to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Close to the subway and some great restaurants. Anna was very quick to respond to any questions. The grocery store across the street was great. Must try Sac's pizza on Broadway just down the block on your way to the subway. Cronin and Phelan another good place to eat on Broadway.

Great NYC vacation home and convenient. Safe neighborhood!
Our family of four (two adults and two teenagers) called this apartment home for the week. The building is in a great location, clean, with good amenities. Anna was responsive and friendly, giving great recommendations for places to eat and stores to visit, and ensuring we had everything we needed. In fact, when she learned the apartment was missing the blow dryer she had two delivered within hours. Excellent service!
We used this as our home base and traveled to manhattan daily via the subway., which is only a couple stops away. When we were tired and wanted to head home we were there in short order, with lots of excellent food options at our doorstep. Felt safe at all times.
Apartment is on the second floor and faces a busy street, however street noise is far less than anything we would have had in Manhattan. We ran the window fan at night for white noise and slept like babies.
Highly recommend this home!

Perfect for our family of six
We stayed at this apartment during Thanksgiving week. The apartment was perfect for our family of six. Their are two pull out cots in the apartment that we set up in the living area at night. Two bathrooms helped everyone get ready in the morning.
As described in the listing, it is a short subway ride into the city. We loved the Astoria neighborhood. There's a grocery store right across the street and lots of dining and take out options on the same block as the apartment.
Anna gave us directions to the closest subway station and checked in on us during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in these units before. Been happy with our experience every time. Only suggestion this visit would be more towels available and toilet seat was broken in second bathroom.

The two bedroom two bath apt. was very clean and well kept. Definitely recommend to stay there!
We were a group of four and the apartment was everything we needed. The location works as it is away from the City a bit and has nice shops and stores locally to walk to and enjoy. We confirmed on short notice and the owner Anna, was very accommodating and was easy to reach from beginning to end... this is extremely valuable,..as needed. A nice walk to the subway allows you to get a feel for the diverse neighborhood and the culture of the community. Little to be worried about walking from this location as it is a comfortable stroll to catch the subway you need. Definitely would stay again and recommend this to others if it fits their travel group...Safe Travels!

Great location, lots of space, easy to get to.
Having stayed in Manhattan on a previous trip it was nice to see a different side of New York.
Broadway station was closed for renovations. 30th was just a short walk away. Once Broadway reopens the apartment will be 150m from the L
Broadway St can get noisy but only because it has such convenient bars, restaurants, supermarkets & Dunkin Donuts.
Make sure to visit the Museum of the Moving Image.
We all enjoyed staying in the apartment and the AStoria area.
We would happily return.

Convenient & clean
Good location in Queens although we had to walk about 15 minutes to subway station as closer Broadway was closed. Appartment was clean and the size is great for 4 people. Air conditioner was quite noisy. Stairs up to the appartment are very steep. Anna responded very quickly to all our enquiries. All in all we think it is a fair value for the price we paid.

Great apartment with responsible owners
We are family of 5, stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The apartment is comparable and clean; the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are fully loaded and equipped.
The apartment has wonderful location - near to subway, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets.

Great experience
Anna’s apartment is comparable to a lovely two bedroom suite at a five star hotel. Spacious, comfortable and clean. We are a family of five, including three teenagers, yet everyone had sufficient space to kick back and relax. Kitchen was fully loaded, bathrooms were well stocked and beds were comfortable. Short walking distance to subway/bus so transport to and from Manhattan was a breeze. Only downside was the noisy ac unit in the master bedroom, but that could probably be easily rectified. Will definitely rent this apartment again the next time we visit the Big Apple. Anna responded quickly to any queries we had.

Great apartment with plenty of room for a family of 5!
This apartment worked very well for us. It is in a great location. 24 hour grocery across the street. Restaurants, shops, and laundromat nearby. I would recommend earplugs as cars horns in the middle of the night can disrupt sleep, but it would be very difficult to get away from all noise in NYC. Nearby subway station (Broadway station for N & W trains) was closed for renovation, which caused quite a bit of extra walking. We managed though, and this closure is not permanent. I would definitely recommend staying here!!!

Lovely apartment, good location.
We had 8 nights in the apartment, we came for a family wedding in Williamsburg and then enjoyed the sights of New York City. Apartment had every we needed and was a good location for getting to Manhattan.

Great time
The room was just as advertised, and Anna was a wonderful host. Great location, plenty of dining options and a great 24 hr grocery store right across the street. Unfortunately during our stay the Broadway subway station was closed for renovations, but that stuff happens and we made do (nothing wrong with some extra steps in our day). As others have mentioned, there is a good amount of street noise that you hear in the bedrooms. Nothing that we weren't able to handle, we brought ear plugs and that helped a bunch. The bathrooms are a bit small, especially the master. Some shelving above the toilet area would be nice. Also just an FYI that the shower tub gets very slippery when it gets soapy, some traction strips would be a great addition. All in all, we felt we got our money's worth and would stay here again if we had the chance.

My family and I stayed in this great apartment and loved it. The subway is only three blocks away and there are plenty of restaurants in the area to eat at.
The apartment itself is great. Very clean and perfect for four people. You will pay twice this price to stay in a comparable apartment in Manhattan or Brooklyn.

This is my second stay in this apartment. The unit is clean and comfortable. Having two full bathrooms is so nice. The location is really good, just 3 blocks from the subway but it's also easy to get a cab. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance if you don't want to go into the city. Dealing with Anna was a pleasure. It is reasonably priced for NYC too. I would have given it 5 stars again but my husband insisted on only 4 because the pillows were so uncomfortable. There was only one pillow for each of us (4) and they flattened out completely as soon as you put your head on them. I could not find any other pillows in the apartment. I did not contact Anna about it while we were there and it is probable that she would have provided extras had I asked. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Everything was as listed, with few extras like basic grocerys and hygiene. Property was clean and everything worked perfectly, there is air condition in every room. We didn't met owner but had all help we needed. I would recommend this property to anyone. There is grocery store across the street open 24h, londery is around the corner and metro station is 7 min away. Trip to Times Square lasts 15 min by metro, neigborhood is safe. Apartment is at main street, so for someone noise can be problem, but for us it wasn't problem at all, this is city of 8 mil people.

It would be a challenge to find another apartment that is as clean and convenient to everything you need as this one! The apartment was impeccably clean upon our arrival, and we heard no noise from anyone else in the building our entire stay. The layout is spacious and furnishings are comfortable. Just a few minutes walk to the train and across the street from a grocery store, the convenience factor can't be beat! We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood, even very late at night coming back from the train. Anna was very gracious, quick to respond, and easy to deal with. A real pleasure! The stairs to the second floor were not as difficult as we had expected, based on earlier reviews. The only complaint we had, and nothing that anyone could do anything about, is the street noise. The apartment faces a busy street, and we had to run the fans at night for background noise to drown out the street noise. It was more than we had expected, but we live in a VERY quiet neighborhood at home, so it was a big difference for us. Not a deal-breaker though, based on all the other very positive things about this apartment. We enjoyed our stay here very, very much.

I stayed here with my 3 sons and it was perfect. It was very clean, convenient to the subway and there were many stores and restaurants near by.
Anna is also very responsive in both email and phone.
Only downside was the windows were thin so the street noise was quite loud.
We would definitely stay here again.

Everything from the booking 120 days ahead of our arrival to the actual day of our arrival was great. Anna is wonderful to work with. She is responsive, gracious and very accommodating. The unit itself is just lovely, ample in size with good quality furniture and furnishings. It is in an excellent location close to public transportation, stores and eateries. You won't regret staying there. The walk up to the 2nd floor is not easy but that's very typical in NY apts. The only thing lacking was a washer and dryer (if you like that convenience) but there is a laundromat less than a block and a half away. Anna allowed us to check in early and check out late. She offered help (if needed), gave us the privacy that we needed, and even suggested a cab driver back to the airport that she personally knows. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to be in NYC but not in Manhattan. There are simply a lot of quaint and cool things in Astoria and Long Island City (a few blocks away) to explore while you are there. So, it will be a great decision if you decide to visit and stay at Anna's apartments. Thank you Anna - my husband and my kids loved your place. Hugs to "Monkey".

This apartment was in a great location -- 3 blocks from the N/Q subway with easy access to Manhattan. Lots of food and retail choices on main street in Queens. The apartment was clean with ample room for sleeping. The kitchen was adequately equipped.
On the negative side, the street was noisy at night and the beds were not very comfortable.

The apartment was as advertised.When we arrived it was simple to gain entry and it was very clean.Unfortunately we did not meet Anna the owner as she was on holiday.The location was ideal for us,a five minute walk to the train ten into Manhattan.After a long day sightseeing it was nice to return to the area of Astoria and chill either in the apartment or in the many local bars or restaurants.One recommendation for breakfast.Michaels.Just about 100 yards after you go under the train line.One suggestion.A visitor book would be helpful for new arrivals

Right from the very beginning, our experience in renting Anna's apartment was perfection. Anna's communication was timely, directions to getting into the apartment were excellent. The apartment was super clean and updated. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect for our needs. We only used kitchen for morning coffee (Anna was kind to leave Keurig coffee for us), however, kitchen had everything one can possibly ask for. The area was safe and the building was secured with two doors and then the apartment door. Lots of shops and restaurants around, including two bakeries and subway is 2-3 min walk. We loved our stay at Anna's place and will absolutely stay there again when we are NY next time. 😊. Thanks Anna.

This apartment is a relatively quiet, peaceful haven in the middle of the hustle & bustle of NYC. It was so nice to be able to come here after a day of trudging the streets of Manhattan! We cooked our own breakfast & 3 dinners during our 5 night stay (saved money/tasted better/healthier). There are several grocery stores within walking distance & plenty of restaurants, as well (try Sac's Place at 2541 Broadway for the best pizza in NYC). Three block walk to the station, which, along with the trains, appears to be newer/cleaner than most in the city. Anna was very helpful & accommodating with special requests. If we ever visit NYC again, we'd definitely want to stay here.
