First villa offered on short term rental, the second one being visible on offer No. 6661332, ‘Villa Pampas 1’ is a 160 sqm geodesic dome villa with a unique architecture where a sense of harmony, light and space prevails. With a large private pool heated in winter and a lush tropical garden entirely fenced to guarantee total intimacy, you will enjoy a very comfortable, peaceful and safe holidays during your stay. ‘Villa Pampas’ boasts a suite on the ground floor (master bedroom with kingsize bed and adjacent bath room), two bedrooms on the first floor (with queen size bed) with another bathroom, all bedrooms air conditioned, a very spacious living room with an elegant interior design of contemporary style, a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, smart TV, international channels, monitored alarm system with mobile guarding intervention from Brinks, baby equipment (cot, highchair, stroller, rocker, safety stair gate) as well as a cleaning lady services inclusive. We were met on arrival at the villa by the housekeeper Dorinne.
Dorinne was very friendly and showed us all around the villa and explained the alarms and keys etc.
The villa is extreamly well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more.
There is a cool box and beach chairs and umbrellas provided for beach days along with beach towels. The bedding and towels are changed reguarly.
The pool is kept beautifully with the poolman coming twice a week to clean it.
Dorinne is in every morning apart from Sundays and is an absolute asset to thevilla.
To sum up the villa exceeded all our expectations.

Villa Pampas is an architecturally stylish property with the wow factor. It is spacious and beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and is very well equipped.
The owner’s communication and support in making holiday arrangements could nit be bettered. Dorine, the housekeeper is a real asset. She cleans diligently every day, cooks amazing local food for a small fee and is available to support with advice on where to go. She is very discreet and will adjust her arrival time to suit you and work in other areas of the house if you are still having breakfast etc.
The garden is full of tropical plants and trees and is nice and mature, giving privacy and a great holiday setting. The grounds and pool are both very well maintained.
Albion is a residential area rather than a resort but it has a good public beach - not the best for swimming as although it is sandy, it is a little rocky going into the water, but it has magnificent sunsets and is a great place to join the locals at the weekend with a picnic. Albion is a great base from which to explore the rest of the island.

First of all a very nice host with a great team. The hospitality of our house support lady was great and her cooking always delicious. The house is great for families with 2 to 4 children, the pool is sufficient for some cooling especially in the afternoons. Albion is not a tourist spot but actually quite well located to explore the island. Its beach is very standard, but the quietness at the house overweighted this by far. The local super market is convenient, a nice mall including a better equipped super market is about 20 minutes by car (Cascavelle). The house is very interesting by the way it is constructed, we loved it. BBQ facility is given, very good local chicken and Australian beef at Winners in Cascavelle. Overall we will miss it and hopefully have the chance to return.

Villa Pampas was ideal for our multi-generational reunion (two of us from the UK, our daughter and grandson from Australia). Paris and Marie-Christine were very responsive hosts, especially when our flight from the UK was delayed by six hours and all the travel from the airport and checking-in plans had to be changed at short notice. The villa was very clean and comfortable, although air conditioning in the living area would have been more effective than the two fans provided given how hot it was in the evenings (air con in the bedrooms was a godsend!). The garden was lush, well-equipped with garden furniture and completely private. The pool was gorgeous and ideal for a toddler with gentle steps down into it (NB it is not fenced off). Dorine, our lovely housekeeper, did everything for us including cooking on request (for a small fee plus the cost of ingredients). Her local dishes were delicious and she was happy to make vegetarian versions for our daughter, as well as yummy samosas and spring rolls which our 17 month old loved! Paris also organised car hire for us, having the car delivered to the villa. Returning it to the airport on departure was easy and efficient. The villa itself is in a residential area with a well-stocked supermarket (Dodo) five minutes walk away. Albion Beach was also supposed to be about five minutes walk but, unfortunately, recent rains had damaged the bridge short cut to it so it was a ten-minute drive instead. It was not the best beach as there was quite of lot of broken coral which was painful on the feet, as was also the case at Flic-en-Flac - no big deal for adults but not so good for a toddler who loves running in and out of the sea, The beaches we liked best (La Cuvette and Pereybere in the Grand Baie area) were an hour's drive to the north. Lastly, be sure to lunch at Marie-Christine's restaurant Escale Creole in Moka for a warm welcome, wonderful food and a heavenly tropical garden.

un séjour inoubliable
La villa est de bonne taille pour une famille de 4 personnes. Les parents ont leur suite avec SDB privée, et les enfants ont chacun une chambre avec une SDB commune.
La cuisine est bien équipée, la salle de vie suffisamment spacieuse.
A l'extérieur, le jardin est chaleureux et mignon, avec une petite piscine, des transat et un "lit" d'exterieur.
Le must, c'est Dorine, la femme de ménage qui a aussi ses talents de cuisinière à vous proposer contre un paiement d'environ 6 euros par repas + les ingrédients. Vous gouterez les plats et délices typiques de l'ile. Le ménage est fait quotidiennement, les serviettes de plage à volonté.
Le wifi fonctionne très bien.
Il y a une place de parking à l'interieur de la propriété pour se garer.
Un supermarché et l'accès à la plage sont à 5 min à pieds. Très pratique pour aller chercher une baguette tradition (très bonne) chaque matin.
Enfin, la sécurité de la villa est omniprésente: système d'alarme, portail fermé, barreaux aux fenetres, etc.
Enfin, les echanges avec le propriétaire étaient excellents, que ce soit sur la plateforme Abritel ou via WhatsApp sur place. Il est arrangeant et organise au mieux pour que chaque souci n'en soit plus un.
Bref, une location idéale, qui nous a fait passer un séjour inoubliable.

Un petit coin de paradis
La maison et le jardin correspondent tout à fait à la description et aux photos. Un parfait coin de paradis pour se reposer après avoir exploré l'Ile Maurice. La maison est fonctionnelle, bien équipée. Les hôtes ont communiqué clairement avant et tout au long du séjour, toujours disponibles pour échanger sur les modalités pratiques ou les visites de l'Ile Maurice. Dorine est absolument charmante, gentille... et ses petits plats sont délicieux.
Bref, la maison, le jardin, Dorine furent un atout déterminant pour la réussite de nos vacances !

Belle villa ,bien conçu ;
Il serait bien de faire un éclaircissement de la végétation au niveau du balcon et couper quelques branches du palmier au dessus de la piscine afin que le soleil puisse la chauffer correctement;
Dorine est parfaite (toujours souriante et très bonne cuisinière), malheureusement nous n'avons pas pu en profiter beaucoup (covid 19 oblige)
Paris et Marie -christine toujours là au moindre soucis
Malheureusement je n'ai pas pu profiter pleinement de l'environnement à cause du covid 19

Formidable et magique
Villa superbe complètement conforme a l'annonce. Proprietaire accessible. Tout etait parfait. Dorine est une excellente cuisiniere qui nous a fait decouvrir des plats mauricien. Mr Vinod, le taxi, est lui aussi une personne tres agréable qui nous a fait partager les sites a voir quand on vient à l'île Maurice comme la colline aux 7 couleurs, Morne Brabant superbe plage. Grand Baie, Cap Malheureux.....
Sortie en bateau avec Clevio et nage avecc les dauphins : magique.

Villa agréable et bien conçue pour une famille.
Nous sommes partis avec nos 2 garçons et leurs copines donc 6 adultes. La villa est vraiment adaptée pour ce genre de vacances en famille. Dorine nous a fait chaque jour un bon petit plat différent, elle est là le matin mais tellement discrète que cela ne dérange à aucun moment. Le seul petit reproche que je pourrais faire c'est la plage d'Albion qui n'était pas à notre goût. Mais avec une location de voiture, c'est très simple de bouger d'Albion qui est un petit village agréable tout de même avec un petit supermarché où l'on trouve tout ce que l'on veut. Conclusion, 10 jours de bonheur qui ont passé trop vite !!!

La vie de rêve !
La villa est telle que vous la voyez en photos...sublime ! Quel bonheur de se retrouver le soir autour de la piscine en sirotant un cocktail avec pour seul compagnie les vôtres ! Le matin Dorine arrive et s'occupe de la maison en restant discrète mais à l'écoute... nous avons pu en savoir plus sur la vie Mauricienne et ses coutumes. Nous avons fait appel à elle pour nous concocter des plats locaux délixieux !!! Un service d'hôtel à la maison... Nous avons pu aussi découvrir un merveilleux restaurant très bon marché qui vous propose une cuisine délicieuse remplie de saveurs et de produits frais ! La pêche du jour vous est présentée avant de la cuisiner...un régal ! Mais ce restaurant vous proposera aussi des excursions en mer ! Choisissez celle des dauphins. Inoubliable. Nous avons pu nager à leurs côtés en toute sécurité . Ne cherchez pas ailleurs vous serez concquis !

Superbe Villa calme, sans vis à vis, proche plage
Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour. Après l’accueil très chaleureux du propriétaire, nous avons découvert cette superbe villa très bien sécurisée, de conception originale et très spacieuse, située dans une rue très calme.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la propreté irréprochable grâce à Dorine qui s'occupe parfaitement de l'entretien avec beaucoup de discrétion et d'efficacité. En plus, c'est une mine de connaissances pour nous conseiller sur les lieux à visiter dans l’île. Merci Dorine.
Le jardin tropical et sa piscine sont très appréciés aux retours de ballades. Aucun vis à vis et tranquillité assurée, baignade à l’abri de tout regards. Seuls les petits oiseaux très colorés partagent avec nous ce lieu d'exception.
Le barbecue à charbon de bois est vraiment un plus, pour profiter sereinement des soirées repas en extérieur. Coin cuisine très bien équipé et où tout est prévu pour cuisiner comme chez soi.
La supérette Dodo, accessible à pied, permet entre-autre chaque matin d'avoir du pain frais, des croissants et des pâtisseries. Elle est suffisamment bien achalandée pour ne pas être obligé d'aller plus loin et de plus à prix très abordables.
Les photos du site nous laissaient envisager un bon séjour à la Villa Pampas 1 et nous n'avons pas été déçus. La plage à 5 min à pied, n’est peut-être pas la plus belle de l’île, mais elle est tranquille, on s’y baigne en toute sécurité.
Le jardin est encore plus beau que sur les photos et la situation d’Albion permet de rejoindre tous les points de l’île très rapidement. C’était parfait, mais trop court et nous n’hésiterons pas à y revenir et à conseiller la Villa Pampas 1.

Eine wunderschöne Villa in ruhiger Lage von Albion.
Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und der Pool wurde täglich von uns genutzt. Ideal für bis zu drei Paaren. Der Strand von Albion ist leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Vermieter und das Personal waren sehr hilfreich. Wir würden die Villa jederzeit wieder mieten.

I would give 10 stars if I could because I had such a great time in Albion at Villas Pampas. First, the property did not disappoint. Molto bello, molto tranquillo.
Casa pulita e tranquillo. Più piccolo di quello che sembra nelle foto ma abbastanza spazio. Vicino alla spiaggia e supermercato locale. C’è un ristorante accanto il supermercato molto buono (La Murene) dove abbamo anche organizzato 2 escursione belissime. Voglio tornare.

Great Villa
We stayed at Villa Pampas for about 3 weeks with 4 adults and 2 children.
First of all: we missed nothing in that Villa.
The kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms are big enough for one or two baby cribs (and for sure the adults), there are enough towels and the house maid keeps everything clean. She even cooks if you want for a reasonable price and it tastes superb (creol kitchen).
The architecture is very interesting, it has a lot of open space and probably through the dome-like shape it was not hotter inside than outside. The bedrooms have aircondition though.
Outside, the pool was big enough to relax and play with the children, as well as the garden itself. For handling the mosquitoes at the patio one of those insect candles is essential, the host has some good tips.
When it comes to describing the host family. Let's say: great and lovely! Whenever I needed an advise or had a problem they answered very quickly and had always gave an ear to us. Also before our vacation started the communication was perfect!
Near the villa is a supermarket, which provides most of the necessities. Next to the supermarket is a local restaurant which has great fish, we have been there a lot.
in 2 minute car distance is an atm and several other small shops, but we just frequented the atm.
The beach in Albion not the biggest on, I would call it "medium". But it is located next to a small forrest park which provides good shade for the hot sun. The beach is not crowded at all so you have your privacy there.
Albion has an ideal possition to explore the island by car. You are fast in the South and west and in a good time in the north (depending at what time you drive, because the road to the north leads trough Port Louis).
In summary we had a great vacation at the villa. It is well equipped and provides good privacy in the garden. The pool and garden are excellent to stay serveral days just at the Villa and not leaving it. The housekeeping is lovely and the dishes she cooks are delicious.
I recommend it and would come here ever again!

A nice big house.. but some little things to know
We spent in April a week in this villa and the inside is really like on the picutures, spacious and clean. Dorine is there every morning to clean and she was very kind, also cooked for us once. The aircondition is as mentioned only in the bedrooms and since we didn't like to have it on during sleeping, it was fairly hot in the house all the time. The photos from the garden must be a bit older, because the plants have grown a lot and the garden is mostly in the shade. Therefore the pool water stays cool and our kids went in only once. Also we had to fight with plenty of mosiquitos, this might be the season.
Albion is a little village, a car is definitely needed to find the beautyful beaches for example in FlicFlac (20') and the restaurants.
Nevertheless I can recommend the villa, the owner is very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the privacy.

Paradisiaque
Nous avons séjourné, avec toute notre petite famille (6 personnes), à la villa Pampas du 24.12.2017 au 4.01.2018...
Nous avons passez des vacances juste inoubliables!
La villa était magnifique , un intérieur moderne et chaleureux, intimiste et sécuritaire mais aussi bien entretenu et très propre.
L’extérieur était juste un ravissement pour les yeux.... Le jardin tropical est encore plus beau que sur les photos (la végétation a bien poussée depuis)... Noix de coco, bananes à portée de main....Entièrement clôturé, nous avons apprécié l’intimité qu’il nous procurait.
Le personnel était au top.... piscine et jardin bien entretenus.
Dorine a été une perle et une vrai maman!!! En plus du ménage quotidien (lessive comprise), elle nous a concocté de super bons petits plats typiques Mauriciens et a été aux petits oignons pour nous. Merciiiiiii Dorine 💕�!!!!
Malgré le fait qu’Albion ne soit pas forcément le bled le plus touristique, nous avions décidé de ne pas louer de voiture et au vue de la conduite plutôt, comment dire... particulière des Mauriciens 😱�, on s’est dit qu’on avait bien fait!!! 😜�
Surtout que Dorine, toujours de bon conseil, nous a mis en contact avec Solano, notre chauffeur, devenu ami pour finir cousin, qui en plus des visites typiques nous a permis de découvrir l’ile hors des sentiers battus, à la rencontre des Mauriciens, de leurs traditions et de leurs cultures.... De tout cœur merciiiiiiiii Solano! 🤗�
La plage, située à environ 150 m de la villa est belle et peu fréquentée. La supérette Dodo, à 100m est très bien achalandée.
Le club med de la plage propose des activités comme la plongée, catamaran, paddle, sorties, etc..... Mais on conseil vivement (vu les prix) de passer voir avant, Clevio!!!
Patron du restaurant la Murène, à l’entrée de la plage, qui en plus d’avoir ravi nos papilles à des prix plus que raisonnables, nous a organisé avec son cœur et d’une main de maître, des sorties VIP (dauphins, île aux cerfs....), justes féeriques et paradisiaques à jamais gravées dans nos mémoires... 😘�
Pour terminer, merci à vous Paris et Marie-Christine!!! Votre accueil nous a fait chaud au ❤️ et le sapin de Noël à notre attention à notre arrivée nous a fait extrêmement plaisir.
Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir vous voir et ne pouvons que conseiller à quiconque ce qui fût notre petit coin de paradis.... 🌴�☀️🏖�🍹�

Séjour magique à la Villa PAMPAS!!!
Que dire à part que tout était parfait!
Nous avons été pris en charge à notre arrivée à l'aéroport par le taxi que les propriétaires avaient organisé à notre demande ; pendant ce temps Marie-Christine nous attendait à la villa afin de nous communiquer toutes les informations à savoir pour notre séjour. En résumé, un accueil comme on aimerait en voir partout dans le monde!
Tous les jours Dorine prenait soin de la maison et de nous! Une femme dynamique, chaleureuse et qui nous a donné beaucoup de conseils et de renseignements pour que nous puissions découvrir son île avec nos 2 filles. Sans oublier les bons repas qu'elle confectionne pour nos retour d’excursions, pour un prix très très très raisonnable.
Marie-Christine et Paris ne sont pas sur place mais joignables à tout moment si besoin.
La villa est spacieuse et munie de tout le nécessaire pour passer 3 semaines merveilleuses. Nos filles ont passé un nombre d'heures incalculables dans la piscine pendant que nous profitions mon mari et moi du salon de jardin.
La plage est à 5 minutes à pieds comme toutes les commodités (Supermarché, bureau d'excursions, le restaurant La Murène qui est vraiment excellent avec des propriétaires adorables et qui organisent plusieurs sortes de sorties en bateau, le Club Med pour y passer une soirée ou une journée avec leurs animations...).
Cela serait trop long de raconter nos 3 semaines à la villa Pampas alors ......il faut y aller!!!! Vous ne serez pas décu.
PS: Il y a beaucoup plus de végétation dans le jardin de la villa par rapport aux photos sur le site. C'est encore plus beau maintenant.

Lovely villa in great location
We were very well looked after by Doreen and Paris during our stay. The villa is spacious and comfortable with excellent wifi! There is a great restaurant and shop down the road and we treated ourselves to a day package at Club Mrs which was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Amazing property
I can't say enough good things about this villa! It was amazing. Large, comfortable, beautifully decorated. Perfect for our family of six. The housekeeper is friendly and helpful, and comes each day to clean the house. The location is fantastic! It was a great spot from which to explore the sights of Mauritius. The local beach is a few minutes walk and very nice with our four young kids. The local restaurant is great, and even organized a boat tour for our family to swim with the dolphins. The home feels very safe and secure with the gate and alarm system. Paris was an excellent host. Met with us on the first day and showed us how everything works. Communication through out the booking process was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again. This was the best vacation ever!

Superbe vacance sur l'ile Maurice
Une villa vraiment exceptionnelle dans un cadre enchanteur. Un bon accueil de la part des propriétaires, la plage à deux pas, et une belle piscine. Pour déjeuner, nous avons le choix entre la gentillesse de Dorine, qui prépare à la demande des plats locaux, ou le restaurant la Murène .
Suite à ce séjour nous pensons retourner à Maurice des que possible.

C' est avec regret que nous avons quitté la villa pampas 2.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille.
L' accueil par Marie Christine était parfait , la maison est encore mieux que sur les photos, très bien décorée , propre et bien équipée.
Le jardin est très soignée , la piscine très appréciable et bien entretenue.
La maison est bien située , à deux pas de la plage ,qui est belle , nous y allions tous les jours. et près du dodo supermarket pour les courses, très pratique,
Albion est calme , bien placer pour visiter l 'ile.
Nous avons mangé au resto la murène juste à coté qui est très bon, très bon rapport qualité prix et le personnel très sympa.
Je vous recommande vivement les excursions qu'il propose , pas cher et on part de la plage , donc pas besoins de taxi.
Nous avons bénéficié aussi du service taxi allé et retour pour l aéroport organisé par les propriétaires, qui sont toujours disponibles pour vous aider et vous conseiller tout en étant très discret .
et pour un confort comme à l'hôtel , Soumila s'occupe de la maison tous les jours, ménage ,lits faits ,et en supplément elle fait de très bons repas . et les courses.
Pour le départ, les propriétaires ont été très arrangeant , ils nous ont laissé la maison la journée.
Nous recommanderions cette location à un ami
C'est un excellent moyen d'aller à l'ile Maurice en famille sans se ruiner .
J'espère pouvoir y revenir l'année prochaine.

Beautiful villa.. Just spot on. Very clean. Dorrine the housekeeper is just fantastic and couldn't do enough to make our stay more pleasant than it already was.
Regarding the location if you are looking for a secluded tranquil place to relax then it's perfect. I'd advise you hire a car if you're thinking about looking around the island or for evening entertainments bars and restaurants as there's not much walking distance from the villa itself.

Regarding the location if you are looking for a secluded tranquil place to relax then it's perfect. I'd advise you hire a car if you're thinking about looking around the island or for evening entertainments bars and restaurants as there's not much walking distance from the villa itself.

Villa is massive. Very clean and if you think it looks nice one the pictures just wait as it looks even better in real. Very nicely decorated. Pool and garden area well planned ,we have had coco nut, papaya and pasion fruit to try out of the trees in the garden.
From the balcony you can watch sun setting down.
Dorin the lady who looks after the villa is very nice and she can cook for you if you want to. Kitchen is well equipped but near by you can find few restaurants. Albion beach is just short walk away from the villa but I would strongly recommend to hire a car to be able to explore other places near by. Owners are nice and helpful, on arrival they will give you all information about the villa and area near by, communication pre and during the stay- excellent. I'm happy to answer any questions and recommend it to everyone

This review is long overdue. We were met at the property and shown everything and how everything works. It is just like in the photos. We had a wonderful stay here with our then 8 month old daughter. The owners were lovely and very helpful and the villa has a lovely housekeeper Doreen who comes everyday except Sundays to make the beds, tidy, sweep, change the sheets when needed, tend to the garden etc. The grounds are well kept they have gardener who comes to look after all the amazing plants. Someone comes to clean the pool, fish out the leaves etc. The villa is not air conditioned but the bedrooms are which is the most important. We stayed in the first villa which has three bedrooms. The main/master bedroom with the en-suite is on the ground floor, with two more bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, just keep that in mind when booking with a family. Our little one slept upstairs, but we brought our video monitor with us so all was ok, and at 8 months she wasn't walking around yet! My husband used the beach, Albion has an OK beach, but the currents can get strong so I think swim with caution. We had a wonderful two week stay, its very secure with electric gates. There aren't any restaurants within walking distance at least we didn't venture out much. You can ask Doreen to cook for you which is extra, she made lovely mauritian food for no more than perhaps £6-£10 a day depending on ingredients. We also went to the local supermarket which is well stocked, or there is a larger supermarket a short drive away. You have use of the wifi which is handy. I would recommend this villa.

We got a very great welcome when we arrived and had great help from our friendly landlords throughout our stay.
The villa is their finest we rented when we were on vacation and we are already longing back. The housekeeper Dorine was very friendly and helpful but unobtrusive.
