After over a decade of staying in Big Pine Key every summer, this property was by far the best. The views were absolutely stunning. The location was spectacular. So close to everything we needed. All the stores, shops, restaurants, bait shops, etc. Just a couple miles up the road if that. Diana was an amazing host and all-around kind person to communicate with. All correspondences between us were very prompt and helpful. As this was our first experience renting with VRBO, she made the whole process easy. Any & all Florida Keys enthusiasts should absolutely visit this property, right on the ocean with a perfect boating location. We would absolutely rent this home again. We had such a great time. Thank you!

The view was great, waking up in the morning and having coffee is the way to start your day!! And after a hard day of fishing or catching lobster and drinking a Pina Colada in the afternoon is what vacation is all about. The house was great and I can’t say enough about Diana, always there when or if you need her.

Thank you, Diana, for a comfortable, enjoyable stay at your Big Pine Property. Your home was spotless and everything we needed was on hand. The location is convenient to all the amenities we were interested in and we had a great time. Storage for our dry goods (bread, cereal, coffee, peanut butter, beer and wine, etc.) was a bit tight, but we made do. The kitchen was stocked with every pot, pan, and utensil we needed. The decorative platters and bowls were cute and we even have one just like yours at home. It was a comfortable place to stay the month. Thank you!

We are two retired couples that found the perfect home with the perfect view and the perfect host. We had a wonderful time at this Big Pine Key waterfront home for the months of February. The home is well equipped and convenient with a great kitchen, two baths and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the weather and the view of the water and sunrises (and sunsets too). Although we didn’t use the kayaks or paddle boards, the bikes got used and a great neighborhood to walk. The city park is a great nearby escape for bocce, basketball, tennis, kids playground, and a walking path right on the water.
Thanks Diana for being a great host and making this property available to us snowbirds.

Drop Anchor at this Spot!
I had been to the Keys before but never to Big Pine Key or this particular area. It's far less touristy than many other spots but honestly is ideal for exploring every part of the Keys while being far more peaceful.
There are a number of wonderful things about this house for a small group beginning with the lot itself. It resides at the end of the street right on the water and you will have total privacy with plenty of outdoor space. It was ideal for our dog as she felt very conformable zooming around the perimeter. There is also a local park that she loved about 10 mins away.
The kitchen was absolutely superb. You will have all the gadgets, appliances, cutlery, pot, pans, cutting boards, etc that you need for a long term stay. It is a well organized kitchen and suited our needs perfectly.
The bedrooms are quite cozy with great mattresses and ceiling fans in all three rooms along with plenty of closet space in the master. The living room boasts a great sectional couch with additional comfortable chairs and all of the electronics were very easy to operate.
The highlight of the house was the patio which was fantastic, especially for sunrise. You do need to protect yourself from those no-see-ums but much of our time was spent chilling on the patio with that fabulous view including jumping dolphins on occasion! Kayaking right out back was also a tremendous treat!
As a final note my communication with the owner (Diana) during our stay, over some minor issues, was seamless and much appreciated. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and truly went beyond anything I expected from my past VRBO experiences. And that makes a big, big, difference in my future vacation choices. Thank you so much Diana and we all hope to come back!

Paradise
Beautiful sunset and sunrise close to the gulf and Atlantic. Tarpon was there every day. Very private lots of room to park cars and boat trailers. Winn Dixie right down the road is very convenient. The house was very clean and well-stocked, I loved all the glass facing the water.

Great Big Pine Key Bay Front Vacation House
Diana, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful in pointing out all the points of interest and great restaurants. The house was perfectly situated off the bay We enjoyed all the wildlife including a visiting manatee.
The inside was beautifully decorated, spacious and well stocked. We would most certainly love to return again.

This was our third year staying at Diana's, we look forward to this "little paradise" every year!! We love the mornings on the deck enjoying the
quite of the ocean and the breath taking sunrises!!
My husband fishes off of the dock and channel our entire vacation and was thrilled when he started catching tarpon!! I love having our own private beach and the manatees that come in the channel every year we have stayed!!
We love the short trip to Key West!!
The house is decorated beautifully anything we need is already there for us. I never want to get out of the comfortable king size bed but the sunrise always wins.
We highly recommend a fishing charter the snapper and tuna we caught were delicious!! Some recommendations for restaurants Hog Fish on Stock Island, The Key Fishery, Burdines, and The Sunset Grille located on Marathon if you get tired of seafood "No Name Pub" for a pizza!!
Diana's house is our only choice when going to the Keys!!
We are looking forward to next year!!
Thank you Diana for sharing your beautiful home!!

Wonderful Week
My friends and I took or sons on our annual fishing trip to BPK the week of 6/18/2016 and stayed here for the first time. The house is well kept, the appliances were new, and you could not ask for a better location or view. Diana was very responsive, answered all our questions, and was wonderful to deal with. She called the day before we were to arrive to advise of some challenges with the boat lift and was very apologetic. She had the repairman out during our stay but we had no need to use the lift as we had more then enough room for our 29 foot and 21 foot center consoles. The boys really enjoyed using the kayaks and the ground level was a great place to hang out. It's a quick run Oceanside, to Bahia Honda, or gulf side. We would definitely stay here again!

We have just returned from another amazing vacation at this property and we can't wait to go back for a third time! This is a beautiful, very clean and comfortable home, complete with everything you need to prepare all those Keys dishes like fish or lobster. The area is known for its fishing and the home sits on a beautiful open water view lot. My husband can stop talking about the two red snappers he caught off the dock and although they were a nice size, they seem to grow every time he tells the story! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Big Pine Key, which included a quick trip to Key West, and we plan on returning. The owner, Diana, could not be more accommodating & she will make your vacation is a memorable one.

Best Time in the Keys
Our family just returned from our stay at Diana's and miss it already. This is such a comfortable house and the location is perfect. So many extras with the house created so many fun activities for my wife, kids and I. Fishing off the dock and in the canal were great. Caught a few small grouper and some medium size tarpon. Bike riding around the neighborhood and over to No Name Key was fun. The location is convenient to both Key West and Marathon and there are so many things to do and great places to eat at, at both locations. Fireworks were launched on July 3rd from the local park and we had the best seat in the house. Diana was very helpful with any questions we had on local eateries and activities. No Name Pub was a great experience, full of interesting history and stories. I never saw the sunrise, as I was on vacation, but sunsets were very pretty and the full moon rising over the water was beautiful. Overall, just a wonderful vacation. I would highly recommend this rental for anyone who just wants to get away and relax.

Can't wait to go back!
Hi Diana,
I wanted to thank you and let you know that we had the best vacation we have had in a long time while staying at your beautiful home in Big Pine Key. We were excited from the moment we walked in and saw how well equipped and comfortable your home was. Everything we could ever need or want was already there for us. The endless open water views from the deck were amazing and super relaxing. The only time there was any commotion was when my husband caught a large tarpon while fishing right off the dock!
We just came back and we are already looking at your calendar to schedule another vacation!

More then we hoped for.
We drove from Windsor, CT to Pine Pine Key in one long 33 hour drive and when we got to the house we were floored. It was so much more then we ever hoped for. The rooms were very big and that was a plus for us. The house had everything we needed and more. It was so good we left a Fish cleaning kit for others as our way of saying thanks. As a photographer the Sun coming up was something to see. We are even talking about going back next year. Thank You for being our hosts. Dave, Haylan and Isabel

Amazing Vacation
What an amazing week. Every morning started with a beautiful sunrise and coffee on the deck! From fishing to seeing endangerd animals (manatee and key deer), our stay at Diana's home was filled with memories that will last forever. The home was clean and welcoming to our family. You should definitely take a trip to Key West and Bahia Honda Beach! There are so many delicious places to eat but we loved the Sunset Bar and Grille.
I would recommend Diana's home to anyone!

Beautiful and Relaxing
My wife and I chose this home based on the location -- on Big PIne Key and directly on the water -- and we were not disappointed. A beautiful view all day long, but especially at sunrise! Clean, freshly decorated and comfortable, the home offered everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The week we chose was a bit windy, so we couldn't take advantage of the Kayaks, but we did explore the neighborhood, the Key and the region. Several trips to Key West to golf and enjoy the sights were wonderful, and the restaurants throughout the Keys offer excellent local cuisine -- recommend the Square Grouper for dinner and Mangrove Mama's for breakfast! Book this house. You'll enjoy every minute!

My husband and I love this home!
This was our second stay here and it was just as great as last year. The front porch is wonderful in that you can just sit out there and watch the water & birds so your mind just drifts away. It is so relaxing and peaceful just being able to look out over the water. The home is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with everything that you would need for meals. The owner Diana is very easy to work with and has lots of info on the lower Keys plus wants you to have a great vacation. After a week here you are recharged and ready to go back to your life up in the cold north! Thanks Diana for the wonderful stay!!

Absolutely fabulous!
Where am I supposed to start? Diana, the owner, responded to every question we had asap. It was a pleasure and very easy. The house is perfectly located on Big Pine Key, immaculate in every aspect. Very clean, well maintained and I would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you, Diana! It was a memorable vacation!!! Christoph, Hamburg/Germany

Home away from Home - Best Place to Stay!
This was a fabulous place to stay! The house is even better than the pictures show and treats you to the most wonderful breathtaking sunsets and sunrises. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back sometime in the future. Thanks Diana for all your help and the great communication in preparing for our trip. We ended up spending a lot of time just chilling out in the house and sitting on the porch - the peacefulness and opportunity to relax in such a gorgeous environment makes this the best place ever. Next time we will stay longer!

Wonderful Family Vacation
What an adventure! Something new to see every day. Close to Key West, Marathon, and Bahia Honda State Park. The Key deer are such cuties. Loved playing pingpong, watching the sun and moon rise on the porch, and the comfortable King bed in the master. Home is well-equipped. Save the $$$ for a trip to Dry Tortuga/Ft. Jefferson...absolutely unforgettable. Loved the wings and service at Kiki's in Little Torch Key. Thank you, Dianna, for being so personable and a great host. Blessings to you and yours.

Great Christmas
There were 5 of us enjoying this property. We loved sitting on the upper deck and took many pictures of the sunrises. Very clean and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and a brand new grill. We were amazed at how many stars we could see at night and made use of the telescope.

Wonderful Spot, the Perfect Getaway
A great location on Big Pine Key, easy trip to Key West, very relaxing and the waterfront view just wonderful. The house was immaculate, very well furnished, and the king-size "Captain's bed" even more comfy than ours at home! Weather wasn't greats for boating (30+ knot winds) on our visit but the house felt like a cozy ship on a rough sea, and we loved the ever-changing colors of sky and water...didn't catch any sunrises (I'm not a morning person, period) but maybe next time.... Thank you also to Diana for being such a great hostess.

Family Time
We came to the Keys to attend the opening of the World of Beer in Key West. For accommodation Big Pine Key made the most sense since we wanted to rent a home on the water, have privacy and enjoy being together as a family but not be too far from Key West. The house was immaculate, well equipped and felt like a home not a hotel. Plenty of sitting areas made it great for visiting with each other. The first sunrise took us all by surprise, the beauty of it - seemed as if each day the sunrise was trying to amaze us. The squabbling between the birds on the dock was hilarious, we never could understand why some could stay and others were chased far away.
The owner is a joy to work with, providing so much valuable information for restaurants and entertainment. With the home came the use of kayaks, bikes, and picnic items. There was so much to entertain us on the property we really enjoyed our surroundings. Everyone enjoyed No Name Pub, speculating on the amount of money hanging around was fun. Having a supermarket close by made it easy to stock up on the needed supplies for the week.
Some family members chose to go deep sea fishing at Marathon Key, had a fantastic day and the meal that night was superb. A family member had a private charter with a local fisherman to learn more about finding and fishing in salt water. He loved every minute and feels he made a friend that day. The house met all our needs and we decided since we now have a family member living in Key West we will return and recommend to friends.

Big Pine Key #962196
We were very pleased with this rental for our spring break get away! The owner provided everything we needed plus extras: bikes, kayaks, beach chairs. She gave us some great recommendations for good eats and day time adventure. This home was as nice as the pictures provided, very clean and well maintained and the beds were comfy. I would recommend this home. There was 6 of us 4 adults and 2 teens. The Tiki room was great for the teens! Great sunrises on the deck that wraps around the whole house. The birds were very entertaining on the dock which isn't shown in the pictures.

Wonderful!
This place was just perfect! At the end of a canal with water all around it was beautiful and felt secluded from the busy streets of Key West. The pictures looked perfect, but in person it was beyond our expectations and so clean, inviting and cozy! Great amenities at the house and Big Pine is a great key to stay on. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Thanks again!
