Wunderschöne Zimmer im Boutique Hotel Stil direkt in der Altstadt von Dubai

Wer am alten Teil von Dubai mit den Souks interessiert ist und mitten in der Altstadt (der Eingang ist in der Tat eine schmale Holztüre zwischen den Marktständen in den Souks) eine extrem stylisches Zimmer einem Hochhausbunker vorzieht, ist im Mazmi Casa genau richtig. Das Zimmer hat direkten Blick auf den Creek und man kann die gesamte Altstadt ganz einfach zu Fuss und mit dem Boot erkunden. Um in den modernen Teil zu gelangen (Dubai Mall, West Palm Beach, etc.) bietet sich eine Fahrt mit Uber an, welche sehr zuverlässig und preiswert operieren. Leider war bei unserem Aufenhalt das Frühstück im Mazmi Coffee Shop wegen Renovationsarbeiten nicht verfügbar. Aber die Menukarte, welche im Zimmer aufgelegen hat, hat sehr vielversprechend ausgesehen und die Lage des Kaffees ist top. Das Hotel verfügt nur über ganz wenige Zimmer und die Betreuung vor Ort ist äusserst zuvorkommend.

Die Schiffe auf Creek verkehren beinahe die ganze Nacht und sind nicht gerade leise. Das Schlafen mit Ohrenstöpseln ist zu empfehlen. Für den direkten Ausblick auf das Wasser ist es das aber wert.

- tolle Lage am Creek im alten Dubai - liegt etwas versteckt und man findet es selbst schwer - einfach anrufen und man wird abgeholt - super Frühstück auf Terrasse am Creek - sehr schöne Zimmer mit viel Komfort

Fabulous in every way

We had a 36 hour layover in Dubai and since we had just left a beach resort we made a conscious decision to stay in the old area of Dubai. The Mazmi Casa is an absolute gem, everything was perfect: all of the staff we met were delightful, so helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, beautifully and authentically decorated with wonderful attention to detail, I can vouch that the large bed was very comfy. A thoughtful touch were the earplugs in case the noise from the creek disturbed us – which it didn’t! The location is amazing. Mazmi Casa is right on edge of the creek, there is nothing between you and the river, you can sit relaxing in the café watching the abras crossing backwards and forwards across the creek with nothing to interrupt your view. Breakfast was delicious, and bearing in mind we had been away for 3 weeks by this time, I can honestly say the coffee was the best of our holiday. There are only three rooms so you want a taste of authentic Dubai, book early – you won’t regret it!

If you want a stunning view, this one’s for you!

Located within the Bur Dubai souk with amazing views of Dubai Creek, Mazmi Caza is a hidden gem that beautifully combines old world charm and comfort. As we check into our elegant Beteel room, we were warmly greeted by our host Mr Alvin who was always there to look after us and answer our smallest requests. The highlight of our stay at Mazmi Caza was the unique scene at the creek with lots of birds and multiple little boats (abras) going up and down till late at night. Breakfast was a delicious mix of continental and Arabic cuisines that we enjoyed on an open terrace by the water side. We would like to thank Alvin and the restaurant team for their excellent service and genuine hospitality and for making our first night in Dubai a memorable one.

Excellent value, a lovely alternative to the big glitzy high rise hotels.

Tiny three room property in the old souk, so comfy and modern and clean. The staff, especially the concierge, is extremely helpful. Amazing breakfast right downstairs, on the water.

Absolute gem of a property

Breakfast excellent. Freshly squeezed OJ, coffee and food included with room price. Great staff, brilliant manager, very informative Rooms beautifully made up with great view Location in old Dubai. Experienced Locals, travel on river with boats and great views. Right amongst local markets

Difficult to locate (Just have them email you detailed directions of how to get there few days prior to visit and not on the day which will alleviate any issues).

Very charming and adorable living experience for us.

Very good location in the old city of Dubai that you will have a beautiful view of river. Super warmly service from Alvin, who is always kindly give helps to us and good suggestions and clear information! And the breakfast is amazing too!

Hahaha, the AC need be fixed. For the rest, all is good.

If we were to travel to Dubai in the future we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The breakfast was fabulous, so much variety and beautifully presented. The Location was lovely watching the boats on the creek very peaceful. Our room was lovely overlooking the creek,very clean. Alveen the manager was amazing, so kind, could not have been more helpful , if only every business had an Alveen working for them that would be wonderful.A

A larger supply of coffee ,tea and sugar Alveen brought us milk, but for someone who like 2-3 cups of tea in the morning we could have done with a bit more (milk was fine)

Wonder stay in a beautiful authentic location.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly, serving delicious food and the best coffee. Excellent location. A truly authentic original jem right in the souk overlooking the beautiful creek. Stayed 2 nights.Wish we had stayed longer. Loved it 😍

Quality-care in a little gem-box

Mazmi Casa is not in the trendy Marina neighborhood, but if you value quality and custom care attentiveness, this is your place! The Host will go beyond imaginable to serve you well and make your stay memorable. Breakfast is amazing, location in the Heritage area is human scale, easy walk to Bazaar, abra or metro station. We loved every second spent here, and if back in Dubai, we would only stay in Mazmi again. Thank you, and keep the magic!!

Beautiful little B&B

Beautiful little B&B situated overlooking the river in the middle of a souk. The room was spacious and very clean and the owner was most helpful and friendly. Bathroom had toiletries, bathrobes and slippers as well as an hairdryer. Breakfast was served in the cafe on the ground floor and was delicious. If I ever come back to Dubai I would stay here again.

Great choice!

Hotel is just on the bank of Dubai Creek with the view on the Old Dubai. Great breakfast on the terrace on the creek's bank. Room comfortable and nicely decorated. Close to metro and souk is just on the corner.

The authentic accommodation, made you feel part of the "Creek". The room was very comfortable & the view spectacular. Staff extremely friendly & breakfast superb.

WiFi needs upgrading & seating could be more comfortable, without losing the charm of the decor.

A stylish B&B in an interesting part of Dubai

Extremely stylish, well equipped rooms, interesting location, wonderful staff and gorgeous food - a delightful B&B for the discerning experienced traveller..special mention to Alvin who looked after us, he was amazing, nothing too much trouble, he is so helpful..

well I adored it…but there are some considerations for others thinking about booking here, it is right next to the canal which I adored but it is noisy, (you do get ear plugs!) it is also located in the markets (textiles) so also you will be approached often by the shop owners, I enjoyed this but it’s not for everyone, there are steps up to the rooms so if you struggle with mobility it won’t be ideal, so also not ideal for young kids..but it was perfect for us!!

Superb

A lovely B&B with a waterfront cafe offers a front row seat to all the activities on the Dubai Creek and ready access to all the surrounding attractions. Very welcoming host and special kudos to Alvin who made every effort to make us feel comfortable. We enjoyed our spacious room and overall it was a great beginning to our Dubai holiday!!

In an idilic setting nestled in inbetween the old souks of Dubai. The location is great if you want to wander the alleys for a bargain and want to take a boat over the creek to the other souls.

Loved the property, only thing to mention is stairs leading up but very minor given the boutique nature of this property.

Amazing stay in Dubai old town!

Amazing room which looks exactly like the pictures. Very comfortable and clean. The location is great, right in the center of old Dubai down a small alley. (you need to walk approx 200 meter from the street side to reach it). Host is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is served at the lovely cafe on the water side, and it is delicious - good selection of a la carte options.

Wifi had some connectivity issues when we where there, but the host already told us about it upon our arrival and downstairs at the cafe the connection was flawless. If you are a light sleeper this hotel might not be suited for you as its directly on the water and has many small boats passing by till late in the evening (its the locals mean of transportation). For us both where not a problem at all, but just so you know :)

The airconditioning is above the bed, i think you can change this to another position in the room. Verry loudly because of the boots, but what can you expect, its the creek harbour. There is no free parking nearby, that is an minus.

Superb

Great accomodation in great area. We got just what we looked for. Exclusive location and nice historical area - located in souk. With view to creek and Abra trafic. Very nice room, very well equiped - we got all what we needed. Nice, cooperative helpful and kind personal.

Much more plus then minus. The area is quiet - but we new there is a Abra trafic in creek - we got a nice view - but it is payed by some rare noise from the Abra trafic in the night. But plus of excelent view will pay the small disconfort. Only the climatization would need the change of unit - it was not possible to regulate it - it was too cold and too much blowing- and smelling - it was only 1 real minus against many many pluses

Cozy 2 days stay

We liked the design of this 3-rooms hotel. Although we arrived quite late to the hotel, around 23:30, the staff was very lovely and picked us up from the entrance of the souk. The breakfast in the Mazmi cafe was very delicious, especially the coffee was very good. The view to the creek was quite spectacular. Ps: A big plus that the tv was a smart one with Netflix access.

As it’s the case with many hotels, the internet was quite bad. The drain in the shower didn’t work very well.
