12 of us comfortably stayed at the house for a week. Everything was as described. We had fun kayaking on the river, the kids played in the yard everyday, fished in the backyard and had a short walk to the downtown area.

This home was absolutely wonderful for our family. The kids spent hours in the backyard fishing, kayaking, yard games. We walked everywhere in town, cute shops and many good eating establishments. I would totally recommend this home for multigenerational families. Thanks Mary Ann!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property! There is just one thing that I would like to mention, and that is that one of the upstairs bathrooms needs attention. The one with the pedestal sink/claw-foot tub. Plumbing needs work on both. The sink was unstable and the plumbing leaks for the tub. We still however, had a wonderful time.

The backyard is beautiful and we loved using the kayaks, playground equipment, and fire pit. However, if you are looking for a serene setting, this is not it. There is a utility power plant on the other side of the river with bright lights at night and the noise off of Main Street is very loud. There is no privacy from either side of the neighbors. The house was okay. The back doors off of the master bedroom are very hard to lock. The hot water in the clawfoot was not working until my husband realized the valve was shut off due to a constant leak. There were no blinds or curtains in one of the bathrooms. And the soap dispenser in every bathroom was only filled half way. We are in a pandemic and to cheap out and only fill the soap half way is ridiculous to me. The kitchen is very dated and made cooking difficult. It is separate from the rest of the house and closed off. If you are a lover of older homes and don't mind the noise of the Main Street and lack of privacy, this would be a good house for you, but it wasn't our cup of tea.

We stayed here for a family reunion and it was great! Very relaxing to sit around the firepit and make smores. The house was very well stocked with all of the necessities. The beds were very comfortable. There were even toys for the kids to play with! Will definitely book again! Our host was very responsive when we had a question!

My family and I had such a wonderful time in Boyne City, mainly because of this home! It was a perfect location: walking distance to all the restaurants, right next to the Fourth of July parade route, and on Boyne River, which was perfect for kayaking. Wonderful balcony area to relax and read when it rains. Great place for fires at night too. Lots of room to stretch out in the evening as well. Thank you so much!

Everything about this property rental was wonderful. It was a great location for our family to get together and spend a relaxing weekend. Mary Anne was awesome communicating when we had questions about some of the outdoor amenities. We plan to be back next year!

We enjoyed our 3 nights. I thought all bedrooms had their own bath, but one did not. We had 4 couples that had a great time playing pickleball and Fibbage. We hope to be back again next year.

wonderful stay, walked to marina to rent a pontoon, walked to Charlevoix coffee, walked to get crepes and walked to market and tried local Sweet Tango apples - charming town with everything. Firepit on the river made for relaxing evenings.

The home is situated on a very busy & loud main road into Boyne City. This is not a tranquil & relaxing setting. The home is historic so has an old odor. The A/C was poor and owners say not to go below 72 degrees. There is a washer but you must bring your own detergent but there were plenty of towels provided. The strangest part was the neighbor...he kept appearing out of the bushes when we were outside. He was super nice but still, not very private.
