About this house rental

Our cottage is in beautiful downtown Cary with easy access to restaurants, shops, cultural center, theater, parks and much more. It is a one bedroom, one bath (1-4 guests), cottage with large kitchen, living area, deck, and convenient at-the-door parking (the upstairs is used by the owners for storage). It is a bright, open floor plan with 10 foot ceilings. Kitchen is well designed with modern appliances. This is a detached home (864 square feet on lower level) in a safe, quiet, and private compound that includes two other homes. Owner lives on premises. Conveniences include widescreen TV, Direct TV, Blu-ray DVD player, high-speed internet/WiFi, computer/reading desk, additional pull-out bed, and new washer/dryer. Our cottage is conveniently located and is just a few miles from NCSU Carter-Finley Stadium, NC State Fairgrounds, PNC Arena, RTP, RDU Airport, SAS Institute and is perfect for a work or leisure stay in our town.

Linens and towels, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, are furnished. The kitchen is stocked with essentials and features a Keurig coffee maker, a standard coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, pots and pans, and flatware. It even includes a basic supply of cooking herbs and spices and olive oil.

Great spot to stay in Cary. Safe and quiet area. Very walkable. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed and then some. Comfortable bed. Close to the Mayton Inn, city park, restaurants and breweries. Great owners! Highly recommend.

Lovely quaint property, located very close to Downtown Cary Park! We were allowed check-in an hour early, and the space contained every amenity we could think of. This trip was meant to be budget friendly so the cooking utensils were very much appreciated. If we return to NC this is our ideal rental :)

My 79 year old mother stayed here for 4 nights and thought it was absolutely perfect! Clean and comfortable and the location was wonderful. Easy for her to walk to Downtown Cary Park. She says she will be staying here for all her visits from now on!

Our stay at the cottage was excellent. Situated in a clean, quiet neighborhood in downtown Cary. It’s an easy walk over to the Cary Downtown Park and convenient to any destination around the Triangle. Clean and well appointed, you can book your stay with confidence.

We were very happy with our stay at the Cary Cottage. Louise & Carl are wonderful hosts. The cottage is just as described, nestled in Downtown Cary. The new Cary City Park and library are just around the corner. The area is walkable with lots of shops and restaurants around. The cottage feels cozy and has more amenities than we could avail ourselves to. We enjoyed watching some Netflix and thumbed through the wide range of DVDs in the entertainment center. The kitchen is well appointed with pots, pans, a crockpot and a wide variety of spices. Louise & Carl even have their own cookbook to inspire your cooking. The grill is just outside on the patio. The cottage was spotless and organized. The owners live on the property and Louise stopped by with a warm welcome and offer to share information about the house and the surrounding area. We plan to stay here again on future trips to the Raleigh area.

Louise and Carl’s cottage was perfect in every way! We were able to easily visit with our daughter living nearby as well as walk to restaurants and coffee shops. The cottage was warm and cozy given the unseasonably cold temps and the kitchen was fully equipped for all needs. Thank you for the coffee, half & half and gift basket. We loved all the reading material and maps of Cary and surrounding areas. We definitely will come back! Thank you.

Exactly as stated in description. Owner came over and introduced herself shortly after we moved in. Great customer service as we had a minor problem with the TV. It was handled immediately by owners. Looking forward to coming back.

We came to visit family in the area. The place was very nice and well stocked for our stay. The owner was there to meet us at checkin. Wifi and streaming service for the kids while we were in and the new park just opened down the street. Will definitely come again. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

The pictures do not do this place justice. The hosts know what to provide for a very comfortable stay. The cottage is within walking distance to some neat shops and places to eat. We would definitely go back!

Cary Cottage models what a welcoming elegant BnB can be. All of the welcoming touches - especially regarding coffee, snacks, personally created cookbook, cleanliness feel like coming home to a favorite relatives place. In addition the neighborhood’s trees and walkability add to its appeal. Many local restaurants are nearby. ( I recommend Pro’s Epicurean.) Parking is so convenient as well. A Top notchy are place to stay! We hope to return

Drove from Buffalo, New York to Cary to visit with family in the area. Louise was there to greet me upon arrival. What a wonderful cottage! It was immaculate and had everything I could need. My teenage son and I traveled to the area during his Spring break. We really enjoyed the cottage. Every detail was thought of. It has all the conveniences of home. We loved having breakfast on the little patio. The ease of the TV set up for streaming services made for relaxing at night. We only had a few meals in, however the kitchen was well appointed. We walked to the downtown shops and restaurants. We hope to rent again next spring break

We were in town for the Southern Farm Show held at the state fairgrounds. This cottage was is a great location, close to the fairgrounds, and an easy drive there. Located in the heart of downtown Cary, with lots of restaurants and shops close by. The cottage was cozy, clean, and with plenty of room to relax. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting more space than a hotel room. Never had an issue where we needed to contact the owners. Definitely a 5-star rating.

Very clean property. It was truly home away from home. Very nice owners that was welcoming shortly after we arrived. Very centralized to where all of our activities were around the Raleigh Durham area. Again very clean property and grounds. Definitely will stay again if we return to that area.

From answering all the questions about the cottage, location and even cleaning supplies, the hosts were prompt and thorough and accommodated my special requests. The location is perfect for any place in the Triangle including access to Raleigh. The cottage is delightfully decorated and extremely comfortable. I especially appreciated having outside and interior lights on as I arrived after dark. The privacy and safety of the location were outstanding. For one or two nights or an extended stay, the Cary Cottage is excellent.

The cleanest cottage we have ever stayed in!! Beautifully appointed, good coffee, creamer, sugar, tea, bottled water, snacks and a pizza in the freezer just in case. We loved it! Perfect location for us. Had a great dinner in town and a great recommend breakfast spot. Definitely a great space.

This is our "go to" when in Raleigh to visit family. The property is immaculate with great attention to detail and exactly as pictured. Carl and Louise are quintessential hosts. Old town Cary is charming with great spots to eat and partake in treats! Walkable from the house.

This clean, organized cottage was great for our trip - my husband and I were visiting our son who lives in Raleigh- so the location was perfect. Parking was easy, location is great, and responsiveness of owners were all top notch. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

Excellent property

We rented this for 5 days while attending our Granddaughters graduation. It was the perfect location! This cottage was spotless and very well equipped. We will likely stay here again for any other family gatherings.
