About this house rental

Our home is one of the few newer homes closest to Lackland AFB. It is very near the BMT gate using either the access road, I-410, or by using the Ray Ellison / Valley Hi back road. It is a 4 bedroom, 1700 sqft home, with 2 baths and an open combined kitchen / dining / living room.

Welcome to our home! We prepared and furnished this house with the goal of providing an enjoyable place for our Air Force and Space Force Basic Military Training graduates to relax, reunite and spend some quality time with their families. We believe this house will fill in for the shortage in on-base lodging facilities and will provide a better alternative as a home than hotel suites provide. The house is situated in a tranquil and safe back section of a community mostly owned by active duty military, retirees, and those working on-base. Very few vehicles drive by the area. The back of the house is a greenbelt area.

Our home has an AT&T fiber internet. DirecTV stream is available in the living room and in each bedroom. We also strive to make items you may need available. We have some office items, small kitchen appliances, shower chair, and baby items that we can bring out if you have a need for them. Please note that we will not be bringing out these items unless you specifically ask for them prior to your arrival.

Our guests will have access to the whole house except for the garage and the master bedroom walk-in closet. We use these 2 areas for our storage and will be locked from our guests. Sufficient parking is available on the driveway and across the street. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and we'll do our best to help!

The house is situated in a community called Solana Ridge. It is around 3 miles (less than 10 mins) from the Lackland Air Force Base BMT gate. There are 2 small roads to get to Lackland AFB from our home allowing you to avoid interstate traffic during busy hours.

Our home is in a back tranquil and safe area of the community. City bus is available right by the Walmart which is a mile from our home. However, due to the scarce number of trips, it is recommended to travel around by car. San Antonio attractions are within minutes from our home. Below are their distances and approximate travel time:
Sea World - 11.5 miles / 21 mins
Six Flags Fiesta Texas - 23 miles / 28 mins
Riverwalk, Downtown, The Alamo - 16.5 miles / 24 mins
San Antonio Airport - 19.5 miles / 24 mins

For security, the house is equipped with security alarm. It also has a front door video doorbell. Security cameras are mounted around the perimeter of the house (all of which are pointed away from the house). No camera / recording device is installed inside the house. We strictly enforce the maximum number of guests count (10 including kids) and charge penalties for exceeding the number.

We came to San Antonio to see our son graduate from BMT at Lackland Air Force Base. This home was about 10 minutes from base. It had everything you would need to not have to worry about forgetting anything.

The property was perfect and easy to get to Lackland Air Force Base for BMT graduation. House was very comfortable extremely clean grocery store very close for convenience, would definitely stay again if needed. The owners did a great job communicating and were able to be flexible, which was very appreciated. Thank you again.

This property was perfect for us in every way. Location.Location.Location. It was close or an easy drive to everything we needed. The owners were easily accessible and they answered my emails quickly. The owners were Super Thoughtful. They created a manual inside the home for their guests, that answered Every question we had, from how to work the dishwasher to where events were on the Airforce base. My family loved being there and loved the "Home away from home feeling!"

Beautiful, well equipped home! Was perfect for our trip to my daughter’s BMT graduation! Close to the base, easy access to the main gate, and a perfect place to relax and enjoy family time. There was plenty of room for everyone, and a nice outdoor space. LOVED this home and would definitely stay again. Owners were very responsive and thought of everything. Thank you!

Our family went to San Antonio for our son’s BMT Graduation and we could not have picked a better place to stay. It is a short distance from Lackland AFB which made it perfect for our needs. This property has everything you need to feel right at home and cozy as could be. It was immaculate! The hosts were so sweet and communicated promptly. I cannot recommend this place enough!

This home is so very lovely and a short drive to Lackland, specifically the Valley Hi Gate that is used for all BMT graduation activites. We enjoyed an additional 4 days as a vacation after seeing our Airman graduate, and move on to Technical Training. I highly reccommend this home for Air Force families or anyone visiting the San Antonio area.

This home was very clean and welcoming. It was also organized with everything you need for your stay. The owners were great to work with. This is a great home located near Lackland AFB. It only took a few minutes to get to the base for our son's graduation. There is also a Walmart next to the subdivision.

This home was very clean and matched the description. The distance to the Valley Hi and ease of access to the Valley Hi gate was perfect. It was an easy drive to Lackland. We booked this house for our son's graduation from BMT. The location was an easy drive to the base (10 min) and the house was wonderful. We've stayed at many VRBOs before, and this one is top of the list. Immaculate. Comfy beds. Plus lots of added features beyond the "usual" (umbrellas, seat cushions for bleachers, bleacher seats, coffee / creamer) I chose this house b/c the 2nd bathroom had a walk in shower (in addition to a tub shower) which was perfect for the grandparents in the group (nearing 80 y/o). Tons of space, so everyone had room to spread out. And a nice neighborhood for evening walks. 5 stars!

We were attending a bmt graduation and wanted somewhere close. The house was in a great location. Not far from base and restaurants. House is very cozy and clean. The host was always available for questions and was very accommodating. Would recommend families to stay here.

This was my first time ever booking a Vrbo and was very nervous but the owners communication was superb and property is exactly as described. Exceeded mine and my families expectations, better than a hotel for sure. Our Airman was able to relax and visit with all the family that traveled to see him graduate. Everything is in driving distance, close to the base and if you’re hesitant… don’t be, you won’t be disappointed.

Property was very clean. Kitchen had labels on the cabinets and drawers to make it easy to find what you were looking for. The book with the property information gave pictures of the remotes, thermostat etc. with directions for easy use. Owners were very responsive and gave a lot of information about the property and what it provides to make very a stress free experience. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

House was clean, in great location near Lackland Air Force Base. There was a Walmart nearby, which was convenient. We were just a shirt drive to everywhere we wanted to visit. Plenty of room for myself, husband, 2 daughters, son, my father, and his wife. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The house was well stocked and very clean. Our only complaint, which is no reflection on the owners, is the noise ordinance is well advertised but clearly doesn’t apply to pets. The dogs next door barked all night long every night we were there. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend!

Our family was in town visiting for my son's basic training graduation. The home was spacious, great lay out. Every thing we needed such as dinnerware etc was available to us. The home was stocked. Easy communication with the hosts. They even made restaurant and things to do recommendations when we asked. I highly recommend this home. Close to Lackland AFB

This was my first time renting a home instead of staying at a hotel during vacation and I can only pray that the rest of my stays elsewhere in the future turn out as good as this one! This property looks EXACTLY like the pics. It was very clean and comfortable and the owners were very nice and welcoming;. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and only a few miles away from all the city highlights. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you are going to San Antonio. It will definitely be my goto spot.
