Perfect property for families with easy access to the slopes and village. Comfortable rooms, well-equipped, highly recommended!

We spent an excellent Labor Day weekend at this Vrbo rental at the Palisades Tahoe in Squaw valley. We got clear directions to the key pickup, and to the actual property. It is a 4th floor corner unit overlooking the shops and parking lot on the ground level. Clean and well equipped with whatever is needed for a weekend getaway. Parking was included, and we were also able to get discounted tickets for the aerial tram to High Camp.
I would recommend the shower heads to be changed since they don’t allow a steady stream of water, but otherwise all other amenities were fantastic.
I would definitely stay there again.

Loved the location, we came for the Reggaefest and it was an awesome resort.
Would definitely come back and recommend this place and location , very peaceful and quiet at night enjoyed the scenery from the deck.

This property is perfect for families wanting to stay in the village at Palisades Tahoe. We stayed with our almost two year old and another couple with a two and a half year old. The access to the slopes is unbeatable. We would definitely stay here again.

We were enchanted by our stay, so close to the lift and within the village. It was great!
The highlight was the access to the hot tub outside within the condo, just no luck with the last day, as it was closed.
Two rooms were big enough and it was very comfortable to have 2 bathrooms.
Highly recommend the place!

Tahoe Time as the rental manager was great to work with.

When we arrived for the 4:30 pm check-in (already a later than usual check-in time) the key wasn’t in the lockbox. The lockbox is a few miles down the road from the property at a local business. There were other guests there waiting for their keys, and it took a while for our calls to the emergency number provided to be returned. When we spoke to the property manger, we were instructed to go to the reception area in another building on the property where we would be given new keys. This took another 30-40 minutes while they contacted the unit owner to provide written permission to issue the new keys. It was 6 pm before we had access to the unit, and it was completely covered in dust and the bathrooms were not clean. No one had been in the unit for months. We were in town for a friends wedding and we ended up missing the rehearsal dinner because of the delay getting checked in. The next day, a goodie bag was left outside our door as an apology containing a bottle of wine, some candy, two packages of fruit snacks, and one granola bar. The wine would have been fine (I don’t drink) but the rest of the stuff looked like things that were thrown together from the office break room. It was a good location and the place would have been nice if it were clean, but overall the experience wasn’t good. I tried to contact the company before writing this to give them a chance to make it right, but I’ve been ignored.

My family has stayed at various other units in The Village and can safely say this is the best we've experienced. Highly recommended and we hope to be able to return soon.

Great location in Palisades village with easy access to dining, shops and the mountain.

Seamless stay at this condo which was so convenient for the slopes!

Great location, comfortable well equipped condo

There were a few items that should be improved:
the coffee table in the living room is rickey and should be tightened or replaced. It has a crack as well
The soap dispenser in the kitchen does not work and should either be repaired or replaced.
It would be nice to have shampoo and conditioner.
Overall the unit is fine and we were happy staying there.

The location is very convenient to access the lifts and enjoy the village. The condo was clean and functional. The kitchen was well stocked to allow for meal prep in the mornings and when we wanted to stay in for dinner. Overall, a good experience.

Location was great. The coffee table was broken when we arrived and the furniture seemed like it could use a refresh but a great location.

While you have to walk a bit to get to the lifts, it is much better than having to get in a car and drive with the traffic to the resort. The accommodations were quite comfortable and very cozy. Loved the fireplace! Convenient having a locker for skis on the main floor. All in all, a great place to stay!

The stay was comfortable and convenient, being right in the heart of the Village. The welcome basket with wine and snacks was also a very nice touch. Parking was also convenient, although a bit tricky to find the exact location the first time. Only real negative is that the night after it snowed the snow plows ran from 1am-6am in the surrounding area making it difficult to sleep.

Great place, easy access to the ski slopes.

The property manager was nice when we spoke, but check in was confusing and keys were picked up outside a random store in a lock box at the bottom of the mountain. This information was not relayed to me in the VRBO app, so I didn't know this. This is my bad because I kept checking the VRBO app and the email went to my spam folder.
The listing states "it is much quieter" unit and mentions the views. The views are mostly of the parking lot and it was so loud in the middle of the night because of all the snow vehicles coming in from midnight to 6 am. Not restful. The beds were very comfortable.
The condo had games and most things you need which was nice. They had no toiletries in the shower, not a big deal, but had to buy shampoo, etc for an excessive resort amount. A Holliday Inn for $100 a night still has shampoo, etc and this was $1,000 a night.
Lastly, they want to charge us $50 for not leaving the plastic hotel keys. That just feels wrong. Two of the keys I recycled in the box in the garage, in the container that read "recycle keys here". I am going to mail the other two plastic cards back.
Nice unit. Would not go back because of the noise and the false description of the view.

We were really happy with the property. Having stayed at the Village many times, there are things I tend to look for: How well does the fridge work? Dishwasher? Are there enough supplies? The fridge worked perfectly; the dishwasher is pretty new and is a Bosch, so it works well, and there was a great stock of dishwasher pods, toilet paper, etc. The condo was very clean, and the location in the Village is nice and quiet. My only wish would be for a way to have the parking pass extend through the day we leave, but that was minor and motivated me to pack the car up early :). We would definitely book again!

Wonderfully comfortable place to stay for a short visit to Tahoe. Quiet, loved the sound of the water feature down below in the village. Very soothing while sleeping.

Great location
The location was great. It’s right Infront of the skii resort and lots of food place in the area. If you go in the summer time just beware there no air conditioning and the room does start to heat up after 8am. If you close windows and put down the blinds it helps keep out of her hot air.

Loved it - perfect location!
We loved our stay here. The location is beyond convenient. With that and IKON passes we could all spend as much or as little time on the mountain as we wished throughout the day. For better or worse we barely felt the need to leave the village. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location and size
Loved the location and the size of this property. We were here for a ski weekend (2 adults, 1 tween) and it was the perfect size for us. The welcome basket was a super nice touch and the property manager was super communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here ourselves again.

Great Stay
What a wonderful location and nice condo! From the start, the communication was great and smooth. The condo was in good condition w/ comfortable beds and everything we needed. It was nice looking up the slopes from the living room and having a complete kitchen was fantastic for breakfasts and lunches. The hot tubs were nice and we loved the view and the secure, underground, warm parking was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again!

Feb vacation
Great location in a nice cozy condo. Taking a damage fee is not fair- a refundable deposit should be given if no damages. I treat my vacation home excellent & it is wrong to charge a damage fee!!

Perfect location at Squaw Valley
We had a wonderful weekend at this property. It is located right in the heart of the village at Squaw Valley. The slopes are just a few steps away. We had everything we needed in the unit, we were able to cook our own meals. There was also a hot tub 1 floor below that was relaxing after a day on the mountain. Would definitely recommend.
